About: I love dogs and have always had them in my home. I have previously watched and cared for my neighbor's dog and an elderly dog. I would love to be able to care for and be a pal for your animals! I am currently working part time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility but am available to care for and spend quality time with your pups! I have always had dogs in my home. Currently I have a six-year-old silver lab named Sadie Mae. Previously I have cared for and watched my neighbor's dog. I love dogs and I think that I would be a good fit for this role.

About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have experience with friendly animals, reactive animals, and shy animals. I'm very skilled at giving medications as I have to do it daily for my job. My schedule is very flexible and I'm also good in medical cases with animals. I don't have a degree in veterinary sciences, but work with strange cases daily and have a close connection with vet techs. I'm excited to open my heart to new animals! I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the afternoons, I can stick around longer to spend more time with them. I have experience with positive reinforcement and am also okay with using dog crates if the need is there. I'm experienced with different types of harnesses and collars as well and have worked with dogs with many different allergies.

About: I lost my dog last year and miss taking care of him, now that I have free time on my hands I'm looking to help take care of other dogs like I would my own. I treat pets like family and have experience with administering medications if needed and am willing to learn of any specific needs your pet has to take care of them like you would! I'm currently free most days and stay at home since my school schedule is very light for the next few months and have flexibility in it. I currently don't have any pets so there is no concern for socializing or introducing them. In addition I live in an apartment with a large grassy area where dogs can walk on and will use a leash while doing so to make sure your pet is safe.

About: I have taken care of animals for the past 16 years. I have cared for my own family dogs and cat since I was 10. I now have my own cat for the past 3 years. Before I adopted my one cat I have had multiple roommates over the past 6 years with dogs and cats of their own that I have helped care for every day. I frequently pet-sit for my friends and their families when they are out of town. I can handle any pet personality from high energy to anxious or shy. I am gentle and cautious making sure your animal is always comfortable in my company. I do work in patient care, so while my patients are humans, all of my friends, family and coworkers would agree that I provide quality care for all living beings. I just graduated and I am looking for jobs preparing to move back home to Illinois. My lease in Iowa ends at the end of July, so until then I have almost complete availability this summer through end of July. I can do mornings as early as 6:30am and can be available all day until the late evening or night. I am very flexible and willing to work with what pet owners or their pet needs any day of the week. Your home and your pet are my greatest priorities. Whatever your needs may be I am always willing to learn how I can best assist or provide for your pet. I have respect for owners homes and their boundaries as I strongly believe every individual and their pets deserve a safe and healthy environment to thrive in.

About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.

I am recently retired and have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I care for a black lab and a border collie on a regular basis, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs that need both physical activity and attention. Walks, playtime, and keeping them on their routine are a natural part of their care. I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, and other small animals, so I understand that each pet has different needs—whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or simply a calm, consistent presence. Making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy fits seamlessly into my everyday life. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment, whether in my home or a client’s home, and I follow routines and instructions closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, exercise, and any special care. In my home, pets receive close supervision, structure, and plenty of attention. I stay alert to behavior and surroundings to ensure pets are safe at all times. About: I have two mini goldendoodles who are my life. I've had them for over 6 years and they bring so much joy to my life! They love to play with other dogs and I'm always spoiling them. I've watched other pups before, giving them walks, spoiling them rotten. I'm very punctual and care for every dog like they're my own! Currently don’t have a full time job so I have availability all day! If you need a full sitter, they are more than happy to come to my house and spend time with my pups. I'm free after 5PM and on the weekends! I don't have a fenced in backyard but I do have two pups who can keep your baby entertained and wear them out! I give the best cuddles and love as it kills me to leave my pups with someone else so I get it! I can facetime whenever you'd like if it's an overnight stay, whatever makes you feel comfortable! :)

About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. I also live alone and have a lot of space!

About: I do not personally own any dogs but I have lived with dogs my whole life. Each dog ranged in size, one of the bigger dogs I have had was a German Shepard. I recently moved here to Iowa from Ohio. I watch 3 amazing kids a few days a week. Since I only have them for 2-3 days a week, I would be able to walk/watch your dogs and cats more frequently At the clients home I would ensure the fur baby would have food and water. I would also, depending on backyard situations, take them out in the yard to play. If there isn’t a lead or fenced in yard then I would take him or her on a walk. All animals should feel loved but also worn out after our walks and play time!
