I work from home, so I'm home the majority of the time. That means your animals always get the attention they need, plus always another animal for companionship. I don't have a fenced yard, but I ALWAYS tether or take them out on a leash when at my home. I do like to give treats like kongs for added stimulation as well. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.

About: I began providing pet care at 13 years old, starting with friends and family before expanding through social media to serve a wide range of clients. My experience includes dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, medication administration, enrichment, and personalized care. What began as a passion has grown into a trusted, professional pet care service. For more about my background, visit me at Jet Set Pet Care. Animal care is intentionally built into my daily and weekly routine to ensure consistency and reliability for every client. I structure my schedule around morning, midday, and evening care windows to accommodate feeding times, walks, litter maintenance, and enrichment visits. I limit bookings to maintain quality and punctuality, allowing me to provide attentive, unrushed care. Weekly planning includes route organization, client communication, and follow-ups to ensure each pet’s needs are met. Pet care is not a side task for me — it is a priority and a structured part of my routine. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine, personality, and the specific service requested. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal schedule to reduce stress — including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, medication if needed, enrichment, and plenty of affection. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being and provide detailed updates with photos.
“Alexis has been quick to respond, very friendly and wants the best for your pet. We’ve had a good experience with her and know that we can trust her with our puppy! She does great at communicating when we ask about the day or need to tell her something that wasn’t previously discussed.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, especially dogs. I’ve had dogs growing up all of my life and thought they bring so much joy to the world. Though they can be a lot of work, the fulfillment they bring is priceless. I have taken care of my own dogs and family friends for about 5 years including taking them on walks, potty training, bathing, and sometimes grooming. I’ve worked with puppies and middle aged dogs from a wide variety of breeds. I am currently working full time at my day job but am available after 3:30 pm. On weekends I am available any time as long as I am booked in advance. Pet care can also fit into my routine of daily walks. When caring for my own or other pets, I like to give them as much attention and care as possible to avoid boredom and loneliness. I usually take my own dogs out to the bathroom or walks every 2 hours. I provide appropriate care depending on the need for the animal.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!
About: I have been around pets pretty much my whole life. I grew up with the dog name snoophy. When I came to college I started volunteering at the animal shelter where I volunteered with cats and dogs and helped foster cats and kittens. I help friends and medical school classmates watch their dogs and cats and just love being around animals in general! I am currently a full time medical student. I can be flexible but am more open on weekends. Love going on walks and playing with pets! I enjoy spending time with pets whether it’s playing with them, going on walks, or having their companionship around. Willing to just stop by or spend time.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Amish. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Amish.

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
