About: I always knew I had this nature since I was little, on taking care of animals. I always want to protect them and make sure they are well, because I love them very much and I get upset when an animal is not okay. Been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old. I currently do not have a full time job but I do have offers around and I want to experience with this app too. My availability depends if I have an interview or I have to do an orientation. I currently have to go to Chicago every week starting on the 16 but I can do weekends. “This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. About: Growing up I always had cats and/or dogs in the house so I've had animal caretaking experience since a very young age. I currently have a very sweet 2y/o XL Bully, a very crazy 9 y/o Pit Bull-Jack Russell Terrier mix, and two adorable kittens. About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. I have a patio for dogs to be outside if they want to as well as a separate office space that my dog sleeps in at night. I also have a crate available if need be.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughter’s age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience. I work at home during the day and my husband at night. I rotate shifts on the weekend so one of us is usually home. We have done injections, meds, sleep request in person or kennel. We try to be accommodating g in what is less stressful for the dog. Past CPR certification set to renew soon. Daughter is 13 and does well with shy animals. Please no aggressive dogs. I have. 117 regular clients and we have minimal issues out side of resource guarding (this is avoidable). Let me know if you would like to meet. We have a 4 foot fence they go outside every 1-2 hours usually. We have a small count of animals we care for and make determinations based on character on our booked guests needs. I am available to meet, call or book! Thank you! Please remember we are a family, we have school events, errands and a pre-teen schedule to work around. We do our best to accommodate and usually are within mins of home if we leave. My dog is a runner, so please give us time to answer the dog so he can be secured. He likes the trail we go on. :) Monday-Friday I work at home. I work nights sat And Sunday opposite my husband, we can accommodate drop off/pick most times except mid afternoon 2-4 is sometimes both transitioning. We want to have your dog use the same schedule at home. My husband usually lets the dogs out at 5-6 and then they go out again before 7. Breakfast And then again 8. Then we usually settle down while I work and break 11:30-12:30. Then potty again at 3:00 if not sooner. They go out again between 5-6:00. Then second meal and out anywhere 7-9 and final let out between 9-10 and a ‘greenie’ please provide some of your own We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family. We have a gate for areas that have things they could get into.

About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the past few years, I’ve startedi helping pet sit for friends and family for periods ranging from a couple of days to a few weeks. I work 8:30-5 M-F, but have an hour lunch everyday. About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. I also live alone and have a lot of space!

About: I have loved critters of all kinds since childhood. I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. I have also cared for cats, bunnies, fish, and turtles. I am very passionate about rescuing, and happy to discuss any extra care your pet may need due to a life transition like fostering or rescuing. I watched a PETA ad when I was 9 years old and have been vegetarian ever since… I just really love animals! :) I am working part-time from home at the moment, so I am very flexible currently with my schedule. I am typically available in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings! I have a fenced in backyard, and I do not have a dog of my own. I have a dining area with an extra couch that can be sectioned off if needed for a crate or food. I do have a senior cat who is indoor, who is very friendly with dogs. He grew up around my mom’s beagles, so he doesn’t mind company/energy! I can section off my basement stairs and kitchen for safety if needed. I cannot board any cat-aggressive dogs for my cat’s safety. I do not use any non pet-safe cleaners or pest control in my home.
“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”
About: I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember! For the past 4 years, I’ve worked hands-on with all kinds of animals at an animal sanctuary, giving me experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and needs. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience raising and training puppies, as well as dog sitting for family, friends, and others. I’m comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I also have experience giving medications and making sure pets receive the extra care and attention they need. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for a baby goat in my home for 6 weeks! I bottle-fed her, cared for her around the clock, and made sure she was happy, healthy, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra TLC. I work part-time, which allows me to have plenty of flexibility in my schedule for pet care! I’m available after 3 PM on weekdays for walks and drop-in visits, and I’m available for boarding on weekends. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care while you’re away! For boarding in my home, your pet will have access to a fully fenced-in backyard and a safe, comfortable environment. I also live in a walkable area, so I can provide nice, long walks when the weather permits. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s individual needs and routines, including crate use, feeding schedules, medications, or other care instructions. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own, and I’m respectful of your belongings and your space during drop-in visits.
