“Makenna is always so reliable and wonderful to our fur babies. Thank you for being so flexible around our schedules and we love your detailed updates while we are stuck at work.”

About: I have lots of puppy care experience, and I know how to take care of all types of breeds. I will make sure your animals are loved and treated like family! I work pretty much full time at a dog boarding/daycare facility, so I know how to take care of animals very well! I work every day except Saturday and Sunday, my shifts are usually no longer than 6 hours. I live in an apartment with lots of space, so I can accommodate a lot of different animals. Also a huge outside area where they can do their business and play!
“Amanda was such a treat to have watch our sweet boy while we were away. The updates were thorough and detailed, she made sure to ask all relevant questions (even ones we didn’t think of)! So glad we chose Amanda to care for our Ari while we were away, and we will definitely use her again!”

“I will definitely request Mira's help again - this was our first Rover experience, and she was a blessing. She went above and beyond by dropping by to meet Sam ahead of time so he wouldn't view her as an intruder. He's 90 pounds and we're still working on his puppy manners (like jumping and the occasional body slam), and she was competent and professional in taking him on. Mira dropped by twice as requested, took him for a walk, and sent plenty of photos so we could see he was having the best time with her. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mira!”

“Avri was perfect for our little puppy!! She brought her 1 year old dog to socialize and even sent me pictures and video updates from their play time! We can’t wait to hire her in the future for our fur baby!”

About: I love all animals, and I'm willing to get my hands dirty (litterboxes are no match for me). I am very good at getting animals to take meds when needed, and I love just hanging out and keeping pets company so they don't feel lonely. I also have experience in taking care of animals with advanced grooming needs such as dailying brushing or bathing. I currently work Monday through Friday until 5 pm so I'm usually only open weekends unless it's just to pop by and make sure the animals are doing okay. Unless they are staying with me at my home in which wouldn't be a problem as I work from home. I have a fenced in backyard for playing. I have an extra crate if needed. I take my own dog on daily walks. We like to go to the trail at the school next door.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.
About: Family and Friends have called me the “dog whisperer”, because I am able to connect with their pets so easily. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. My schedule is able to be put on hold for periods of time, if more time and attention are required or needed. I am able to leave to walk your fur baby, pet-sit at your place, or take care of your fur baby at my home. Pet care is as on-hands and giving as much attention to your fur baby as you wish. I am ready to love them as much as they want and need. I do live in an apartment with places surrounding the building to take dogs outside to potty. There is a new dog park just a block from where I reside. My building is a secure building that is locked with cameras everywhere in the hallways. There are long hallways in my building with very few residents and lots of room to run inside when weather outside is not good. I am able to leave as often as needed to walk dogs. Also, I am able to care for your fur babies in their own home or at my residence.

About: Very experienced and knowledgable with dogs, cats, birds, horses, pocket pets and all types of farm animals. Can provide drop in visits for any house or farm and can take care of farm chores. Dogs staying at our house have access to the whole house, but can be kept separate from resident dogs if needed. Two 15-30 minute walks provided each day, both morning and night, possibly more depending on the dog and day. We are very active with our three dogs and any guests would receive the same care and attention as our own. We provide mental stimulation as well as physical, and daily obedience work is a part of our schedule. I am available for drop in visits.
About: I have been talking care of family and friends animals since the age of 10 and still to this day. From walking to feeding to bathing, and grooming I have done it all. I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wernt for being around and taking care of animals. Pets make my life so much more enjoyable seeing them happy them showing love in return. I have a Morkie who is the biggest lover on this planet. She is great with other animals and will keep them great company. I also use to train dogs when I was younger and have had the privilege to train all of my family and friends pets. So if your fur baby is in need of a little extra help I would be thrilled to work with them! I am currently a stay at home mother who has lots of time and love to give and would be honored to care for your fur baby. I have a fenced in back yard and a very loving and friendly fur baby to keep your pet company and lots of toys and love to give little one
“You went above and beyond. Very punctual too. My cats didn’t hide from you and that is HUGE. I know you have a love and a heart for animals. Thank you so much for caring for my babies . You were amazing ! 💕”

About: I grew up with dogs! I have two dogs of my own! They are the best. Looking to help with walks, potty breaks and play time! I am in school and work seasonally. Schedule may vary but I have lots of availability to help with potty breaks, walks and play time! I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet in my care. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions carefully while giving pets plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I respect each pet’s routine and personality to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away!
“We have used Maddie for about a year now to watch our cats. Maddie is an expert at caring for them and it really shows in the details for the care she provides. We have a cat with special needs and we feel super comfortable leaving them in her care. She’s really thoughtful in everything she does, is a great communicator, responds in a timely manner, and is super fair with pricing. I love having her around and would always be willing to give her any kind of reference she needs”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up with pets and understands that they’re family. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for friends, family, and many other pet owners, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Whether your pet needs a potty break, playtime, fresh water, a walk, or just some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I work a unique schedule of eight days on and six days off, which gives me a great deal of flexibility to help care for your pets. At this time, I’m offering drop-in visits only, as I have a young child at home and am not accepting overnight stays. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I’d love the opportunity to provide reliable, compassionate care for yours! My shift time along with the unique 8 days on, 6 days off schedule that I work allows me the flexibility I need to help with your pets. I do my best to care for your pet just how you would. I always want to make sure they are happy and comfortable with a new face coming into their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
