“Autumn was a professional and extremely great with our dogs. She stayed at our home for four days with our two small pets. We got constant communication and picture updates. It was a great feeling to know things were under control at home when we were on our vacation. We highly recommend Autumn. :)”

“Brie was great to work with, she did a great job and sent the cutest pictures of our pups. It was a last minute booking at a tough time in our family and she was so kind and easy to work with that we had absolutely no worries about our sweet girls getting the best care.”

About: I have grown up surrounded by my loving animals. Dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters just to name a few. I have worked in the past at a veterinary clinic as an assistant & I loved it. I have large dogs and a tiny Chihuahua so I understand the difference between the needs of various dogs. I have 4 cats and I absolutely adore them. Cats bring me so much joy! I am currently available anytime for your pet care needs! I am an early riser for anyone that needs early morning care. I can clean up after your pet, walk your dog, play fetch any & all needs to make your pet happy. Studies show even a 30 min walk helps prevent excessive boredom for your dog. I am able to provide long walks & play time for your pets. I can change & disinfect litter boxes. Play with your cats & love on them as much as they will allow!
“Karley watched our 3 pets for the weekend and was outstanding! One of our dogs can be temperamental and Karley was very patient with her. She also sent us several pictures throughout the weekend and clearly took great care of our pets and home. We would highly recommend Karley to others.”

About: I am a 26 year old living with autism spectrum disorder. I always loved animals since I saw them for the first time when I was a toddler. Animals and I just clicked, and I love getting to know more and more about animals. I would help out from time to time growing up, helping take care of animals. I also love music, and I play the cello. I'm a fur-mom of a domestic shorthair cat named Leo, an Australian Shepherd named Zola, and our newest addition to our family: another Australian Shepherd named Teddy Graham. From February 2021 to July of 2021, I worked at Camp Bow Wow, and since August/September of 2021, I’ve been working at Cedar Run Company for 5 yrs now. Over the years, I’ve also learned how to give other dogs baths, besides my own, and I’ve also cared for injured/senior pets (ie: administering meds, gentle leash-walking w/ a belly-band thing to go potty, etc.) I am mostly available any day. I work on Mondays (9-5), Fridays (10-6), and Saturdays (10-6). I can try to be flexible with any changes to my weekly schedules. Unfortunately, I can only have my dogs, Zola and Teddy Graham, over at my house, plus I’m afraid Zola might be jealous. Teddy’s been so far, so good with other dogs. So yea, boarding & daycare at my house isn’t really an option. I will give your pets all the loves and the tender loving care when you’re on vacay.
“Aurora took great care of my puppy during her overnight stay! She was very quick at getting back to us and we were confident she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Aurora to anyone needing animal care! ?”

“It has taken us a long time to find someone who will actually take the time to sit with our cat and give her time to warm up. Marika takes her time and she does a fantastic job. Our kitty needs an oral capsule and injections and she got it done! Bravo! She also really listens and follows through. She will be our go-to caregiver from now on!”

“Lehia took on a lot with our old dog, medicine 3x/day, old did antics and set in his ways. She communicated extremely well and we felt diesel was in safe and secure hands. Highly recommend her”

“Char was great sitter for my 3mo puppy. I was nervous since first time using service, but from minute she walked in my home Zeus acted like he'd known her all his life. reasonable price for service and she sent photo updates throughout the day which I appreciated.”

“Sophie did a great job with my blind and toothless girl, Annie. She gave updates and pics throughout the day. She also spent quality time with Annie who gets separation anxiety when left alone. I’ve already booked Sophie for another sitting job!! Thank you Sophie!!”

“Mira took great care of Moose while we were away! She had great communication about arrival and departure. She kept our house clean. She sent pictures of Moose’s activities throughout the day and Moose was very happy when we arrived home.”

“We had to book Leslie last minute, due to our previous pet sitter cancelling on us. She was SO accommodating to our schedule & quick to respond. We had no problems whatsoever & she sent us pics, which was nice. Left the house exactly how we left it. Will definitely be re-booking!”

“First time using Rover so was slightly nervous and wasn't sure what to expect but Kaylyn helped to make it a seamless and great experience! Our girls can be big needy lapdogs at times and when we got home they said Kaylyn did great, thay felt safe and loved 😁 We love using family when able (wasn't available for this trip), but it's great to know we have a reliable back up with Kaylyn. We will be using her again in the future I'm sure.”

“Talia did an amazing job taking care of our elderly dog in our home. She made sure our pet was well cared for and even brought in packages for us while staying overnight. We will absolutely use her again when we travel.”

“Ashleigh treated our dog very well and we loved all the videos and pictures she sent! It helped ease our minds to know she was taking good care of our pet. She was very responsive to any messages and left our house clean and tidy.”

About: I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience, and an Equissage-certified canine massage therapist. I notice things most pet sitters don’t. I understand that boarding can disrupt a dog’s nervous system. Some dogs do better at home while you’re away, and my massage therapy background means I have techniques that genuinely help calm and settle an anxious or overstimulated dog in their own environment. During drop-in visits and walks, I’m assessing your dog the whole time. Gait, energy, behavior, subtle signs that something’s off. You’ll hear about it either way. I’m experienced with medically complex dogs, seniors, and anxious dogs, and equally comfortable with your healthy, bouncy lab who just needs a solid walk. Cats are absolutely welcome. Cat owners, I see you. Your cat has a whole life, a whole routine, and very strong opinions. I get it. Fill me in on the Royal Treatment and I’ll do my best to make sure it happens. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend(s) soon. 🐾 I offer drop-in visits and dog walks seven days a week. Visits are typically 30 minutes. I send updates with photos at every visit so you know exactly how things are going. I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. This is for my own safety.
“Mia did an OUTSTANDING job caring for our dog and two cats. She sent us daily updates w photos of walks, playtime, and even did a photo shoot with our dog! She did a home stay for 4 nights and our house was impeccable when we returned. To say I would hire her again is an understatement. We’re convinced our pup misses her and we wish we could hire her indefinitely. If you pass on having her watch your pets you are missing out, if I could give ten stars, I would ❤️❤️❤️”

Hope is an absolute gem! She cared for my kittens like they were her own! She is very patient, kind hearted and has a way with animals. She was very thorough with all instructions and sent me updates and pictures during her 5 night stay with Jupiter and Gemini. I will be booking her again!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Robins walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Robins maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Robins choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Robins. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
