The Ultimate Play Machine

I’ve always had a huge passion for taking care of animals, so being a dog sitter is a dream come true for me! Not only do I get the option to bring more puppy happiness into the world, I also get to give back to owners as well. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend. No one likes sticking them in a kennel, friends can be unreliable, and trusted help is not easy to find. That’s why I’m here: to give owners and pups alike the peace of mind they deserve. In addition to being a lifelong dog lover, I have experience with tons of different breeds! I just love pups of all shapes and sizes. I currently own an American Eskimo, but used to have a Border Collie that I trained for agility competitions and grew up with a Belgian Sheepdog. Although I’ve helped care for tons of different pups, I tend to like herding dogs myself, but only because I like the challenge of getting to train them and how they keep me on my toes. But that’s not at the exclusion of any other kind of dog! If your dog needs a little extra training (leash, potty, behavioral, commands, etc) I am more than happy to help for free. However due to past experiences I will be charging a cleanup fee of $25 if your dog pees on furniture more than 3 times during their stay as I take them out every 2 hours guaranteed. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is with me, I tend to over-communicate with owners. I know that it’s always a bit nerve-wracking to be away from your best friend, and I believe that the best remedy for that is tons of pictures and updates! I love taking fun pics of your pup and I together since you can see just how much fun we’re having together. I’m also happy to take copious notes on any details you need to know that your pup is in tip-top shape, so just ask!

Where do I start? Char stayed with our pug while we were away and we could not have asked for a better sitter for our boy! She sent daily photos and updates which put my mind at ease the entire trip! She even wrote notes and updates about Hank every single day and left them for us upon our return. Her love for animals is easy to see - we would recommend Char to anyone🖤

Char sat our dogs for us when we had multiple wedding events over one weekend. We were very nervous, because we were here on vacation, and our dogs had never been sat by anyone prior. Char could not have been nicer or more accommodating to our dogs and schedule. We are so grateful we found her and were able to enjoy the wedding events without worrying about our pups!

Char was great sitter for my 3mo puppy. I was nervous since first time using service, but from minute she walked in my home Zeus acted like he'd known her all his life. reasonable price for service and she sent photo updates throughout the day which I appreciated.

Char was a delight to deal with. She took very good care of my dog Pearl and I would recommend her to anyone that would need a sitter. On time, polite, reasonable, and my dog loved her too. You won't be disappointed with any experience you have with Char.

Schedule

I work remotely and barely go into the office so I have a very flexible schedule. I also do not have a ton of meetings so I have the flexibility to take care of animals as they need.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I try my best to make sure that they feel very loved and safe in the absence of their owner. I know when I have to leave my fur-baby, I have a lot of anxiety, so I can only imagine both the owner and the pets. Distractions such as play time, new hikes and smells and cuddle sessions to help everyone involved. Plus tons of transparency and photos for the owners peace of mind.
