I’ve always grown up with at least one dog in the house. my parents adopted a dog when I was 8 and I’ve helped take care of him ever since. I also had many neighbors who would often ask me to take care of their dog or cat while they were out of town. I had worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for about 2 years.

I follow what the pet wants to do. If they are full of energy, I will play with them or take them for a walk. If they want to lay around and be lazy, then that’s what we’ll do. If it’s just potty breaks, I’ll let them out for a good 10-20 minutes, if it’s nice enough outside. Along with some good scratches before I leave.

It has taken us a long time to find someone who will actually take the time to sit with our cat and give her time to warm up. Marika takes her time and she does a fantastic job. Our kitty needs an oral capsule and injections and she got it done! Bravo! She also really listens and follows through. She will be our go-to caregiver from now on!
Marika is excellent with dogs! I have 2 high energy young dogs. She played with them in the backyard playing catch & wore them out! She also sent several pictures during the day. I highly recommend Marika & will defintely have her again!
Marika is very loving towards all animals, and truly treats every pet as if it is her own. Amazing pet sitter would trust her with my reptiles and my cats. Honestly would trust with my life. Very will suited for the job and well educated when it comes to pets needs and wants.
Marika has been great with our dog. She makes sure our dog gets walks daily, let outside every 2 to 3 hours and loves unconditionally.

Schedule
I currently work at Homegoods, about 32 hours a week. I am off wednsdays and weekends. I work 10-6 the other days, and am able to do mid day drop ins when needed.
