Dog Sitting Cedar Rapids

About: Family and Friends have called me the “dog whisperer”, because I am able to connect with their pets so easily. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. My schedule is able to be put on hold for periods of time, if more time and attention are required or needed. I am able to leave to walk your fur baby, pet-sit at your place, or take care of your fur baby at my home. Pet care is as on-hands and giving as much attention to your fur baby as you wish. I am ready to love them as much as they want and need. I do live in an apartment with places surrounding the building to take dogs outside to potty. There is a new dog park just a block from where I reside. My building is a secure building that is locked with cameras everywhere in the hallways. There are long hallways in my building with very few residents and lots of room to run inside when weather outside is not good. I am able to leave as often as needed to walk dogs. Also, I am able to care for your fur babies in their own home or at my residence.

About: I’ve always grown up with at least one dog in the house. my parents adopted a dog when I was 8 and I’ve helped take care of him ever since. I also had many neighbors who would often ask me to take care of their dog or cat while they were out of town. I had worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for about 2 years. I currently work at Homegoods, about 32 hours a week. I am off wednsdays and weekends. I work 10-6 the other days, and am able to do mid day drop ins when needed. I follow what the pet wants to do. If they are full of energy, I will play with them or take them for a walk. If they want to lay around and be lazy, then that’s what we’ll do. If it’s just potty breaks, I’ll let them out for a good 10-20 minutes, if it’s nice enough outside. Along with some good scratches before I leave.

About: I have been talking care of family and friends animals since the age of 10 and still to this day. From walking to feeding to bathing, and grooming I have done it all. I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wernt for being around and taking care of animals. Pets make my life so much more enjoyable seeing them happy them showing love in return. I have a Morkie who is the biggest lover on this planet. She is great with other animals and will keep them great company. I also use to train dogs when I was younger and have had the privilege to train all of my family and friends pets. So if your fur baby is in need of a little extra help I would be thrilled to work with them! I am currently a stay at home mother who has lots of time and love to give and would be honored to care for your fur baby. I have a fenced in back yard and a very loving and friendly fur baby to keep your pet company and lots of toys and love to give little one

About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.

I can clean up after your pet, walk your dog, play fetch any & all needs to make your pet happy. Studies show even a 30 min walk helps prevent excessive boredom for your dog. I am able to provide long walks & play time for your pets. I can change & disinfect litter boxes. Play with your cats & love on them as much as they will allow!

About: I have been working in veterinary medicine for 4 years this January! I love and care for all animals but I also have a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety I am currently working full time, with Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. I do get a break in the middle of the day to take care of any of the animal’s needs! I currently do not have any pets in my home. Crate/kennel training or a fenced in yard isn’t necessary. Leash trained preferably but not required.

I stick to your pet's established routines, feeding times, walks, play, and rest, so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'm attentive to any changes in behavior or health and will always reach out if something seems off. You can expect regular updates and photos so you stay connected to your pets no matter where you are.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life and truly can't imagine a home without them. My passion for caring for animals led me to start pet sitting during the COVID pandemic, and what began as a way to help friends and neighbors quickly grew into something I absolutely loved. My schedule is very open and flexible to whatever your needs are! I do live in a house now and while i dont have a fenced in yard, I live in a community where its safe to walk around and there are plenty of dog parks near by!

About: Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I am a huge animal lover. I am located in Cedar Rapids and almost always available. I have about 15 years of experience with both cats & dogs and have 4 dogs of my own. I have 3 little girls who are 5, 4, and 9 months 😊 We live in a ranch style home and have a fenced in backyard. I am an active person and will give your pet plenty of love and attention. I will also take dogs on walks if they enjoy that. I have never had an owner unhappy with their pets stay. I work from home so I will be there most of the time to make sure you fur baby gets plenty of attention and play time! I have a fenced in yard so dogs can be out there and play around as much as they want to when we’re home. If they enjoy playing with other dogs I have 1 bigger one and 3 smaller ones. They will be crated whenever we are not home to ensure they’re safe unless they’re used to free roaming and won’t have accidents or be destructive.
