About: I have owned pets my whole life. My two Bernese Mountain Dogs both recently passed and I would love to care for your pets as I get over their loss. If you are requesting house sitting M-F please be aware that I work full time days so it's basically just drop-ins and my house sitting does not include sleeping overnight at your home. About: I've taken care of dogs of various ages for about 2 years at the client's home. I've done baths, taken them on walks, outside to go potty, of course feeding and giving all the treats! I work in NE Cedar Rapids so I'm only able to do mid day check ins in that area. I am able to stay overnight at your home as well if needed. I provide care at the client's home. I am able to come for a drop in visit and hang out with your pet for a short time or I'm able to come and stay for the night, weekend, or longer if needed.

I work pretty much full time at a dog boarding/daycare facility, so I know how to take care of animals very well! About: I’ve always grown up with at least one dog in the house. my parents adopted a dog when I was 8 and I’ve helped take care of him ever since. I also had many neighbors who would often ask me to take care of their dog or cat while they were out of town. I had worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for about 2 years. I currently work at Homegoods, about 32 hours a week. I am off wednsdays and weekends. I work 10-6 the other days, and am able to do mid day drop ins when needed. I follow what the pet wants to do. If they are full of energy, I will play with them or take them for a walk. If they want to lay around and be lazy, then that’s what we’ll do. If it’s just potty breaks, I’ll let them out for a good 10-20 minutes, if it’s nice enough outside. Along with some good scratches before I leave.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.
