About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family friends and my own pets for almost 15 years! I’ve had about a ton of dogs throughout my life, most of them have been bigger dogs like labs or pittie mixes but I love dogs of ALL sizes!! Besides from owning a dog that is dog selective and has anxiety, I’ve worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility so I have confidence in caring for dogs with anxiety or aggression!! I also am confident caring for senior dogs or giving dogs meds. I have a deep understanding of the unique needs and personalities of our furry companions. I believe that pets are family and deserve the same level of care and attention as any other loved one. That's why I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your pets while you're away. Whether it's long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just some good old-fashioned TLC, I am dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and healthy during your absence. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends and providing them with the love and care they deserve! Let me be your go-to pet sitter for all your pet care needs! I have four dogs and three cats so I know a thing or two about pet care!! I’m very good with routines so if your pet needs special care I’m here! I’m very observant and your pup will never leave my sight outside!! I’m very good with routines so if your pup has a special routine I promise it will not be interrupted with me!!

About: I have always had pets, but at this point in time, we are unable to have any pets of our own. Because of that, we would love to take care of yours when needed! I have experience with cats, dogs, and turtles - both in my own home and at others' homes. I have a young son (1.5 year old) who adores pets of all shapes and sizes, as well as a baby girl (4 months). I have a part time job, but I am home pretty much 24/7. I am able to accommodate your pet's needs when it comes to outside time (walks, playing, etc.), feeding schedule, and quality time. Pets in our home are a part of our family - they will be the center of our attention! We do not have a fenced in yard, so they would need to be leashed for bathroom breaks. There are several nearby parks we would love to take them to stretch their legs.

8. Mia H.
“Repeat booker with Mia. She’s punctual, communicative, flexible, and so good with our pup’s health issues. She spends more than enough time walking him, so much that the neighbor kids seem to know her as well as my pup! She’s taken many different routes while walking, and even takes time to love on our cats as well. Mia is the best. Without a doubt will rebook with her again. ❤️”

About: I have a 12 yr old Shih Tzu since I was 6 years old!! He’s my best friend and I take care of him. In high school I volunteered at our local animal shelter and still donate to rescue animals and dogs in need. I always lend a hand to dogs and would totally pick a night in with dogs any day of the week! I want to earn some money doing something I love but not overloading since I’m taking two summer courses. Below are the days I’m available, contact me for times. Drop-In Sun, Mon, Wed Dog Waking Tu, Th House Sitting Th, Fr, Sa Currently I live back at home with my mom, dad, dog (shih tzu) Sully. Sully is not social so he would most likely hangout upstairs while I make sure the downstairs is for the dog and I. At the clients home, I always make sure I know where everything that I might need is before they leave.

18. Katie A.
About: Hello, my name is Kate. I've been an animal lover since a child and have always gone above-and-beyond for dogs and cats especially. I was the kid bringing in strays and driving my parents crazy. Now that I'm an adult, I've been able to turn this softhearted hobby into a way to help out people and fur babies simultaneously. I've been on Rover for about 7 years now, and I love it! I can be active, I can be lazy... whatever suits your pet's style! I am currently working at Lucky Pawz, LLC Monday-Friday. I manage the Iowa City location. I do not have my calendar as available for those days on Rover. However, I am able to bring your pup(s) with me to attend daycare or have private boarding/play times (every 2 hours in boarding only). Then I can either bring them home with me or go back to your home. *All dogs must pass the screening process at Lucky Pawz, LLC to be accepted into daycare. What I Offer: - Personalized care (I only book 1 client at a time) -Private acreage (if you live in the city and want to book a walk for you and your pup, I allow these bookings also) -10+ years of experience I have plenty of room in my home and outside. Over 12 private acres to explore! I also am experienced at staying in the owner's home as well if that works best. I do not mind doing so if that is the better option. I do expect a clean and safe environment and require a meet & greet in your home prior. I can also do home tasks while you're away: watering plants, getting mail, trash, etc. Communication is key, I can send you check-ins or updates as frequently as needed/wanted. I understand this is a best friend or family member to you: they will receive the best and kindest care. Let me know what you and your fur babies need and expect, and I'll do my best to exceed expectations! I hope to hear from you soon. Please message to schedule accordingly with my schedule! The more notice the better. 😊 I do not do more than 1 booking at a time for boarding/home stays, so my calendar can fill quickly. I work at Lucky Pawz in Iowa City Monday-Friday (9:30-6pm). I am not able to do check-ins or walks during those times. I can bring your pup with me to privately board or to take part in doggy daycare (upon passing screening onsite). I listen to owner's requests. I try to maintain a space similar to as if owners were present. Let me know what is needed and we're golden. I have experience with just about everything; but if not, I am quick to learn.
19. Brian G.
About: Our family has had pets (cats, dogs, horses) for our entire lives together. Pets are family to me and I will care for yours like they are my own. Due to my schedule I am only available to care for pets on weekends- Friday afternoons to Sunday afternoons. Other days might be considered on a case by case basis. Unfortunately I will have to care for your pets in your neighborhood or in your home.......our own dogs do not mix well with "strangers".......but I am happy to take care of yours in their own home environment.
20. Maria M.
“Maria has been nothing but amazing since the day that I met her. She is responsible, diligent, and genuinely cares. I have full faith in her in looking after my pets, (even my very rebellious border collie blue heeler mix), and I hope that she will be the right fit for you. You will be hard-pressed to find someone who is better to work with, and I'm sure that you'll come to agree with that.”
