“Henry and Kaylie were such a wonderful find. We were anxious about leaving our puppy for 11 days, but they quickly took away any worries we had. Izzy was taken on walks/jogs in the mornings and evenings, trips to the dog park regularly, and had ample play time everyday with their sweet dog, Margot. Their home is clean and safe with a nice fenced in backyard for playtime and potty breaks. Additionally, they sent us updates and pictures each day to check in. I don’t think our puppy even missed us! I would absolutely recommend these caring folks to watch your pups, and will happily book them again if we need a sitter.”

She owns two sweet pups of her own and has the best accommodations ever for your dog/pet! A fenced-in backyard plus her loving family that will snuggle and care for your pooch while you are away! I have never ever been apart from my dog for 10 nights/11 days, however knowing she was in Anne’s care literally allowed for a better time to be had on our vacation!!! Oh plus she administered Lulu’s heart worm and flea/tick meds just like I had asked! Anne is the best, hands down, THE BEST!!”

“Charlie, loved his visit with Macy and Luke. When we met Macy, she immediately greeted Charlie with tender attention and warmth. We received cute photos while we were at the football game, and we didn't worry about him at all while he had his "sleep over:) When we picked Charlie up on Sunday morning, Macy was ready with him outside, and he seemed so calm and happy. Our dog has issues with anxiety, but it was immediately evident that he felt comfortable with Macy. Normally, he'd race to us with a "take me home" look, but he stayed by her side until we reached down to pick him up:). Our son is in grad school in Iowa City, and we would absolutely leave Charlie with Macy and Luke again while visiting town. We recommend them very highly.”

“Melia and Benjamin have been fantastic caretakers for our dog Apple. They truly took care of Apple as she was their own and kept updating us daily about her with pictures and checking in. When we picked her up it was obvious she was happy and looked well cared after. They were also extremely accommodating with us. We ran into multiple issues and returned 2 days later than originally planned but they kept Apple during that time and were very supportive. We are thankful we found them and will definitely keep coming back to them as schedules allow!”

About: I provide a loving environment for those looking to board their animals. We are a low key home with a loving and responsible heart. You will feel great when you are away knowing your animal family member is in great hands and being spoiled rotten. I have a flexible schedule with 2 teenage ages children that love animals. We love pets and provide a clean, comfortable home with a huge fenced in yard for all the running and sniffing possible. I offer daily and/or overnight boarding to those that love to have their pets stay in a family friendly home while away from their home. We are a home away from home with lots of love, belly rubs and overall love. We do have 2 dogs of our own in the home. A 7 year old Goldendoodle (who thinks he’s human) and a 1 year old Mini Bernododdle that loves to play. Both are extremely gentle and friendly.

“We left Archie with Mirna and her family for a few days and he fit right in! He was able to feel comfortable with them. You could tell he was well taken care of and had so much love while there. He got to go on walks and enjoy some couch potato time too. I will definitely be asking Mirna to watch our spunky guy again soon! She was so communicative and was sure to ask questions during the Meet and Greet so they would be set up for when he stayed with her. Just overall great experience!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life growing up! I love taking care of them! I love taking them on walks! Can’t wait to watch your animals! I’m currently student teaching! I’m at the school from 7:30-340! So anytime before/ after those house! I’m also available all the time on the weekends! I have an unfenced yard! We live in an apartment downtown Iowa city! I have my roommates puppy for entertainment! I can also crate them if needed

“Abbey was awesome with our 3 dogs while we were away on vacation for a week! Two of our dogs are very elderly with a few issues and the one younger dog was was a bit anxious in a new setting; Abbey did a great job figuring out what they needed to feel at home and be happy and relaxed! Abbey sent photos and updates as needed and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in good hands.”

About: I love all animals! My retirement dream is to spend my days with dogs and cats. I decided why wait! I have cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years. I have always had my own pets, but I have also cared for friends, family, and neighbor's pets over the years as well. During the week and the school year I work with children. There is nothing I love more than coming home from a busy day and spending time with animals. During the day I have time over lunch for dog walks or pet care. After school hours, weekends, and summers are free to spend time with pets. In my home I have a lot of area for pets to roam and lounge around. I have a fenced yard and I enjoy walking the trails around my house with dogs. In your home I will follow your expectations for your pet. I will talk to them, play with them, and give them lots of love.
