About: From wild puppy zoomies to slow strolls with seniors, I’ve done it all! I’ve raised our corgi since she was a puppy helping with crate training, leash skills, potty training, learning new tricks, etc. I’ll adjust my care to meet your dog’s energy and needs, whether that’s playing fetch or just offering a calm and comfortable environment. Your dog will get treated just as if they were my own. I’m currently working from home full-time so I have the time and freedom to give your dogs the attention, play, and care they deserve. I take my own dog on multiple walks and trips to the dog park everyday and your pup is welcome to come along! My schedule is flexible and can be tailored to fit you and your dogs needs. I will stick to your pets usual routines to keep them comfortable, so please let me know their schedule around walks, meals, playtime, and naps, and whatever else your dog loves to do. I always keep a clean, safe environment and give each pet plenty of attention, belly rubs, and mental stimulation. Whether I’m in your home or welcoming them into mine, I make sure they feel secure, loved, and never alone. I live in an apartment but can easily take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood or just a short ride from the nearest dog park.

About: Hi, I am Perry! I love dogs and grew up with them! I’ve volunteered at the San Francisco SPCA for over a decade and have worked with many breeds of dogs of various ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have also walked up to six dogs off leash at Fort Funston when I worked with Top Dog SF for two years. I always strive to stay calm and respond rather than react in any stressful situation. I specialize in animal safe handling and behavior, and look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend for lots of daily enrichment and exercise. My availability is weekdays (Monday through Friday) that works best for me. I am also flexible on weekends if needed when enough advanced notice is given. Safety is my number one rule. On my housesitting visits, I will follow your guidelines and rules (if your have any) for taking great care of your pet and making them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I believe I am an excellent pet sitter since I am very patient, responsive, responsible, caring, interactive. I am a huge dog lover and have a border collie as well. A high energy dog so I am familiar with high energy breeds and have a lot of patience to work with different dogs big and small. Pet care fits into my routine since I have a very high energy dog I am outside every single day. If your dog needs a 10 minute walk, a 3 minute hug, a 45 minute walk I am here to support so that you do not need to worry. I believe picking someone who has a dog of their own can be more trusting than someone who does not have a pet. Us pet owners have a different kind of unconditional love for our animals and I respect and love other animals equally. Pets are different and beautiful in their own unique way. I am great at following directions as well so if your pet is on a special diet or on a special routine you can trust that I will fulfill the kiddos needs to meet your expectation.

About: I have been a dog lover and owner for 20+ years. I love introducing new friends to my friendly 5 year old Poodle Terrier, Boba, as well as provide exercise services to pets who have busy parents. I have recently taken a break from the corporate grind, so I am available any time Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is possible if needed. I have a friendly 5 year old Poodle Terrier named Boba, who gets walked at least 3-4 times a day. I have a spacious one bedroom apartment and can take on short boarding. I can also make house calls if needed.

“Ilona did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats Edwin and Guava! She was very caring and responsive, and made sure to tend to their needs while I was away. I would highly recommend her for cat-sitting.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as far back as I can remember! They are the thing in this world that makes me happier than anything. I get along with every breed/size/type of dog I’ve ever been around and am so looking forward to meeting more awesome pups through the app! My schedule is currently very flexible and can be adjusted on a week to week basis depending on a clients needs. I plan to be available as much as possible to establish routines but open enough to change based on circumstances. I look forward to providing top quality care for your four legged friend(s)! I am a responsible person who takes looking after someone’s animal/home very seriously. If staying overnight I’d love to meet you and discuss your routines with your animals, and just make sure it’s a situation everyone is comfortable with to maximize the care I can provide!

About: Hey there! New to Rover but I’ve been pet-sitting friends’ dogs and cats for years. I’m the person at the party that hangs out with your dog near the snacks 😄 Open to overnight stays and also walks/check ins, or local hikes if your pet wants a little adventure. I’m a healthcare admin professional, currently working a hybrid work-from-home schedule. I’m available mid-day through the evenings, and occasionally weekends for overnight stays as well! I am able to travel a bit to petsit your fur friend where they’ll be most comfortable. Can follow any rules you have for your pets, just let me know!

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs for years and just love spending time with animals. I’m pretty good at reading their moods—whether they want playtime, cuddles, or just someone to quietly hang out with. I make sure each visit is more than just feeding or walking—I give your pet the attention and care they deserve. I’m always patient, respectful of their boundaries, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I always try to make the most of my visits—walks, feeding, and definitely playtime. I know your pet will be alone for a while after I leave, so I do my best to give them attention, love, and some good company while I’m there. I’ve got a good sense for animal moods—if your pet’s feeling shy, I’ll give them space. If they’re excited to hang out, I’m all in for playtime and cuddles. I follow your instructions to a T, make sure everything gets done right, and always double-check that everything’s locked up before I go.

About: Hi my name is Samantha (aka Sam/Sammi) and I LOVE animals. I am currently flexible and open to all of your pet needs. While I am new here on Rover, I am not new to pet care and pet sitting. I have pet sat for various friends and people in the community using Nextdoor and Hillsborough Together. I even had a local pet grooming business going in high school. Moreover, I have worked with well-known dog trainers such as, Mike Wombacher and Shay Yuval. Working with these trainers taught me the importance of reading a dog's body language to not only make the dog do what you want obedience-wise, but also so that they can feel safe and understood. In fact, I learned that a dog's body language has a direct correlation to their emotional state. And being aware of your dog's cues will help me ensure that I can prevent them from being stressed or anxious while you are away, foster trust, and identify their needs (hunger, wanting to play, needing to go outside, etc.). I also am proficient teaching dogs the basic training commands including sit, stay, shake, down, come, wait, and heal. Overall, I understand that the most important thing is keeping your fur baby safe and happy. Currently I am very open and flexible for whatever your pet need may be. My schedule is free as of right now and ready for you pet! For dogs that have more energy and require more room to run or socialize, I have a big car and am able to take your pet to the beach, local park, dog park, or on a hike.

About: I’ve trained my two dogs, a German Sheppard and miniature dachshund. I love all animals including cats! No job is too hard as all animals need love and patience! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for something to do in my off time! I am open on late night calls as well if any emergencies occur! I only have a mini dachshund who loves to play, if you dog spends the night I currently live in a luxury apartment with a large dog park next door!

“Perry has taken wonderful care of our two energetic Australian Shepherds, and they absolutely love him. He is reliable, caring, and always responsible. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy pet caregiver.”

Gabriela D.
“Gaby took care of Rocky my baby, he’s a puppy and she’s really good with him somehow he always listen to her. I found her through a friend and she’s always kind and friendly with rocky. Give her a chance and you will not regret it!.”

Madison A.

“Madison is a wonderful partner in taking care of your pets and home. She is very communicative, genuinely loves animals, and a joy to work with.”

Winnie K.
“Winnie has watched over Teemo (our Pembroke Corgi) on a number of occasions over the years, with a number of them being long term stays that consisted of 3 or more nights. An experienced dog owner, she's done a great job making sure Teemo's physical and emotional needs are met, adhering to his daily routine, feeding and training guidelines while also keeping us updated on how he's doing. Teemo's return to us has always been bittersweet for our doggo as he's always a little sad to leave her care. While Teemo loves Winnie, it's also worth mentioning that a large portion of Teemo's attachment to her "pack" is his affinity towards her personal dog, Boba. He perhaps deserves a review in his own light, but in short, Boba is a ball of joyous energy that seems to be very intuitive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, even some of the more socially awkward ones like Teemo can sometimes be. He reminds me of Top Gun's Goose, "everybody likes him." Suffice to say, I'd absolutely recommend Winnie (and Boba) as caretakers for your dogs.”

Zixin D.

“Zixin was kind with the dogs and very dependable. Always dropping in on time and had great communication. She was able to walk our large dog. Would highly recommend her service.”

Ilona K.

“Ilona did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats Edwin and Guava! She was very caring and responsive, and made sure to tend to their needs while I was away. I would highly recommend her for cat-sitting.”

Jamie B.

“Jamie is a great dog sitter 😊 we’re always Happy to have her as the sitter of our beloved dog. She managed really well the energy and personality of our dog, she followed instructions and kept our furry happy and healthy.”

Rochelle S.
“Rochelle has helped me wonderfully in the past three years, giving my Lilly girl, (German Shepherd) wonderful, love, time, and attention, while caring for her walking and eating/medicine needs, both with either daily care or staying at my home, if my trips required longer time away. Rochelle also has a beautiful, now 6 year old, beautiful and very well cared for, German Shepherd., Atlas, since the age of 4 weeks new! In addition, Rochelle's work is and has been a Vet Assistant for the past five years, and she has worked full-time with all types of breeds of Dog's and enjoys Cats and also has two of her own! Animals are a highlight of her life and mutually, your Family Pet and Rochelle will be equally happy in Rochelle's care. Elizabeth and Lilly.”

Philip P.
“Phil is the best with dogs. Animals and children gravitate toward him. He is a very calm, gentle person. He takes good care of the home he is working in as well. He especially likes to play with the dogs at the beach, and will also comfortably snuggle with them on the couch all day if that’s their prerogative. He is reliable and takes his work seriously, but most of all he loves the dogs back. It brings him joy to be around animals”

Meghana N.
“As someone who has known Meghana for over a decade, I can wholeheartedly vouch for her exceptional dog caregiving skills. Whenever my family and I were away on vacation, Meghana would make sure my dog was well taken care of and my dog would always come home well-fed and happy. Meghana is incredibly responsible and genuinely loves animals. Dogs always gravitate towards her warmth and kindness, and it always put my mind at ease when she was watching my dog, allowing me to enjoy my time away without worrying. In summary, I definitely recommend Meghana as a responsible and compassionate pet caregiver!”

Richard U.
“I've known Richard for many years, and one thing that's always stood out is his love for animals. He has long-time experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. For over a decade, he raised a dog and a cat together in the same household—no small feat!—and also lovingly cared for two guinea pigs during that time. Currently, he shares his home with two adorable cats. Richard is incredibly patient and observant. He has a soft heart and a natural ability to connect with animals, always taking the time to understand their personalities, needs, and moods. Whether it's going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship, Richard creates a safe and loving environment for pets. I trust him completely with my own pets, and I have no doubt that he’ll treat every dog or cat he cares for like family. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with him!”

“She was great! We asked her to watch our two big dogs for us last minute and she was flexible and quick to respond. She sent us updates and pictures while we were out of town, great communication and reasonable to work with :) would definitely recommend her.”

Kevin S.
