“Brooke was FANTASTIC! Always on time and communicating with me, making me feel like I was there with my dogs!! Amazing response time and pays attention to detail. Would book again anytime!”

“Daniel did a great job with my big pup. There were some challenges, but Daniel handled them well. He was on time, responsive, and shared a bunch of pictures. I really appreciate it!”

“Tracy was so awesome with our dog Nalu. You can tell she has a lot of knowledge/experience with dogs and that she cares/enjoys what she does! Our dog is very smart and will try to finesse the system/us when given the chance, but I can tell Tracy had just the right energy/skills to keep up with him. I’ll definitely be recommending Tracy to our friends/family in the area :)”

“Lori was great! We were traveling during the Holidays and needed a last minute sitter and Lori very graciously obliged. She was timely and followed all of the care details perfectly. She even let us use one of her cat’s toys that she no longer needed, so sweet! Lori is great, highly recommend!”

“Stefanie has been so sweet with our young Labrador Poppy! She’s a great communicator and seems to have a good sense of what Poppy wants when they’re together. Love all the pics we get, it’s fun to see Poppy having so much fun. I trust Stefanie to keep our pup happy and safe - will book again!”

About: I have two cats with very different personalities - one loves pets and one just loves company and that’s okay! I understand each pet has their on personality and I’d take the time to meet them and provide the individual care they need while you’re away. I work full time from home, which makes my days flexible and accessible for pet care! I can easily stop by in the mornings, midday, or evenings to keep your pet company or take them on a walk. I understand some pets are a little more shy than others. That’s why it’s important to approach each pet gently with love. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and gets the attention they need and deserve!

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life, including my pitbull mix who was by my side for 13 years. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs-big, small, hi-energy, shy. Whether it’s walks, play, or just a hang, I treat every dog like my own. I’m currently self employed and work from home , so my schedule is pretty flexible during the day. I can easily work in multiple visits a day. As a pet owner & animal lover, I treat every animal as if it were my own. Because that’s how I would want my pets treated.

“As always just a great experience having Autumn take care of the boys. Pictures are always great and the notes have us dying. Always a comfort to be able to have them take care of the boys”

“This was our first experience with Rover and I could not be more pleased with how great Morgan was with Champ! She met him a few days before the scheduled drop-ins and he immediately started licking her and asking for pets before she even finished coming inside (Champ is normally super shy and barks a lot). Morgan was very communicative and sent several pictures and updates during each drop-in. I hate leaving Champ (I’ve only boarded him three times in his 8 years of life and am always paranoid if he’s not right by me lol) so I was nervous about how it would be for someone else to come into my house to watch him but it was the best decision. Champ hates fireworks so Morgan moved his bedding into the bathroom where he was hiding and she sat in there with him until he calmed down. If I boarded Champ he would’ve been in a kennel near a bunch of other dogs freaking out about the fireworks but Champ got to be in his own home where he feels safe. She went above and beyond any expectations I had. I laid out some pee pads and sure enough, Champ understandably had a couple of accidents because he wouldn’t go outside during the fireworks and Morgan cleaned up without any complaints. I would be thrilled to have Morgan take care of Champ again next time I go out of town!”

“Sarah and David are the best! We had a wonderful day out with family and left our puppy in their caring and capable hands. The photos we got of our pup were amazing and clearly showed him having a blast with his new friends!”

“Chelsea checked in and fed my two cats while I was away for 4 days. She was super easy to work with, and my cats were happy and healthy when I came home. They were well cared for, and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. I’ve had my own since he was 11 weeks and growing up we had the family dog. I know how to take care of puppies and the proper ways to take care of them! It comes with a lot of patience! I currently work during the week on 2nd shift so I’m open for early mornings during the week and all day on weekends. As long a they are about to be left alone for 4 hours or so. I live in an apartment that has plenty of open space and also has a dog park located there so they will have plenty of area to run around in!

“Kimberly is the best. She is so kind and is always so great with Tarzan. And always on time! I would recommend her for any one looking for a great pet sitter!”

About: Hi! Ilya here. I’m an Honors grad of the Academy for Dog Trainers with my Certificate in Training and Counseling. I'm also a certified Animal Trainer through Fear Free Pets. I help prevent fear in puppies and build confidence in fearful dogs. I help parents and parents-to-be have an easier time giving their dogs and kids good experiences with each other. I do this with weekly sessions. I offer support in between sessions individualized for you. Before dog training, I worked as a wildlife biologist. I live in Highland Park with my partner, our toddler, and dog Trixie. I have flexibility weekdays 8 am - 5 pm. Dog training is my full-time job (when I'm not taking care of our kiddo and doggo). I offer drop-in visits, supportive + enrichment walks, dog training, and behavior consulting. If we are training together, our sessions will be in-person or virtual to best meet your training goals.

About: I am excellent with dogs, perceptive to their needs, very active when walking, and consistently great at training our furry friends. Have taken care of dogs (who are part of our family) for over 40 years, and know the ins- and outs-. I am also experienced in administering any medication, as my fur baby had leukemia for the last year of his life. Also, I have a knack for taking the cutest dog pics and will make sure to keep your mind at ease while I am watching over your fur baby. I work from home as a professor and live a very active lifestyle, including daily walks, weekly hikes, and bike rides, where my very active fur baby (may he rest in power) loved the activity and exploration. I am a huge fan of giving belly rubs to furry friends, as well as having company during my walks and hikes. Your dog will get filtered water, plenty of love and belly rubs, on leash walks & hikes, and on-time and appropriate meals. My home has plenty of comfy resting spots, and a fenced-off, big, backyard where your fur baby can bask in the sun, chase butterflies that visit my garden, enjoy a doggy treat on the deck, and take care of their business.

About: I discovered my love for dogs (relatively) later in life, when my parents adopted a sweet middle-aged mutt when I went to college! Since then, I have adored dogs and in addition to caring for my family dog on school breaks I’ve been petsitting (in my home and others’) for friends and friends of friends over the past few years. I enjoy getting to know the personality of each animal and catering to it, whether that means long walks or long cuddle sessions on the couch. I love all dogs, but due to a bad personal experience with a pit bull, I prefer to work with other breeds. I’m a freelance writer and in between jobs I am at home and available to care for your pet on whatever schedule you prefer. My only recurring conflicts are comedy shows I perform in at night but they rarely go longer than 2 hours. I live in an ADU that is a tiny home so dogs on the smaller side will be more comfortable there. I have room for a crate but sleep in a bunk bed, so if your dog prefers sleeping with a person, a dog I can comfortably lift in and out may be better (I’ve done it before with a Cavapoo). In a client’s home any size of dog is fine, I just want to know the house rules for both me and the dog to follow and if it’s a long sit check out the space beforehand.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, and other animals, walked and trained my own pets, and even helped with labor - gentle, experienced, and reliable care! Active student starting community college this summer. I run daily, exercise, and have open availability all week. reliable, energetic, and ready to help your pet. I will only be doing pet walking and pop ins I can't sit at my own place because we have other dogs and there are already to many and they aren't as friendly.

“First time booking Sam as a drop in before a long stay coming up. She did a great job! The dogs seemed to really feel comfortable with their walk, playtime and meals!”

“Cody was a terrific pet sitter — friendly, flexible, trustworthy. Good with animals, which I imagine is a must for this gig, but was nevertheless much appreciated.”

About: While I was not lucky enough to grow up with dogs, after adopting my first rescue, Charlie, in 2013, I unlocked my undying love for all pups. A year after adopting Charlie, I adopted Dennis, another rescue, and they are the loves of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs, and experience with anxious and/or fearful dogs. I have experience administering oral, eye, ear, and topical medication and am excellent at giving belly rubs when the pups asks. I am an artist who maintains a flexible schedule. I'm available for pop-ins and walks throughout the day and can easily accommodate longer visits or overnight needs. I work a few nights a week at a theater and occasionally have meetings or workshops during the day. I have an anxious pup of my own, so I know to meet dogs where they are. I take my time to let them warm up to me and follow their lead until they're comfortable. I'm great with direction and able to accommodate your & your dog's schedule and needs.

Ellen L.
“Ellen is hands down the best dog sitter we've ever worked with! When we needed extended puppy care last summer, she provided exceptional pet sitting services that exceeded all our expectations. Our puppy Disco was full of energy and needed constant attention, and Ellen was absolutely amazing with puppies. She kept our girl physically and mentally stimulated throughout the day with engaging play sessions and activities - exactly what high-energy breeds require. As an experienced dog walker and pet caregiver, Ellen clearly understands different breed needs and tailors her approach accordingly. Communication is so important when you're away, and Ellen delivered outstanding pet sitting communication. She sent regular updates, photos, and messages that gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. Ellen provided overnight pet sitting at our apartment, and we came home to find our place in even better condition than when we left! She's incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and treats your home with the utmost respect. This level of reliable pet care is rare to find. Ellen is always our first call for dog sitting services, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, professional pet sitter.”

“Emma hosted our 45lb Goldendoodle puppy Miso for 11 days over the holidays and it was top to bottom and 10 out of 10 experience! Miso loved their big, fenced-in backyard to run and play and get her energy out, got a great walk each day (and practiced walking with other pups), and was shown so much love while we were away. Emma sent us various videos and photos during Miso's time there and even offered to video chat with us on Christmas! If you are looking for someone responsible, loving, caring, and communicative, don't think twice: BOOK EMMA!”
