About: I worked summers for 4 years at a pet groomer's where I washed, dried, groomed, and transported dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also worked as a pet sitter/dog walker for Sitter4Paws, where I walked, fed, cleaned, played with, administered medications, and provided care to dogs. These dogs ranged from puppies to seniors, dogs with medical needs, timid, shy, and stand-offish dogs. I have experience with/walking groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I also own a big 90 lb labradoodle who is 11, so I feel very comfortable handling bigger dogs as well! I'm currently a full-time student at UCSB! Aside from my classes, I have a show at the university radio station, KCSB-FM, and occasionally do engineering gigs there for live performances. This leaves me with a lot of free time to take care of your pets! I'm a double major and have held part-time jobs throughout college; therefore, managing my time is no problem at all! I live in a studio apartment across from a park with lots of grass! Friends and family have trusted me to look after their dogs, cats, and even plants while they’re away, and I always treat each home like it’s my own. Taking care of pets is my hobby. I essentially grew up in A rescue sanctuary. My mother has rescued many pets and brought me on the journey along the way. Currently we have two dogs and three exotic birds. And are constantly taking in rescues and rehabilitating them both cats, birds and dogs. About: Hi !! :-) I grew up with about 4 cats and a cocker spaniel since I was about 8 years old, and have experience with taking care of pets with visual impairment or hearing loss. I have a soft and patient heart for elderly/senior pets after the passing of 3 of my own childhood pets— and I’m capable of caring for pets of any age/condition. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong safety background and experience with dogs of all ages and needs. I’m CPR certified through both lifeguarding and memory care, giving me the ability to stay calm and respond quickly in emergencies. I have hands-on experience with both puppy care (including basic training, housebreaking, and socialization) and senior dogs (gentle handling, administering medications, and adjusting routines for mobility or comfort). I also prioritize keeping dogs active, happy, and mentally engaged, whether that means long walks, playtime, or calm companionship. But, I love to be active because I have a love for exercise and I am on the UCSB’s Women’s Soccer Team. I treat every dog like family — with patience, consistency, and love. I’m currently working part time as both a college mentor and an event staff worker for UCSB athletic events. About: I’ve always had a special love for animals, and although I’ve never been able to have a dog or cat of my own, I have experience with dog sitting and cat sitting; whether it be day long or month long at my house, or frequent visits to others houses. I've dog-sat young puppies and elder dogs needing extra medical care. I've had 2 years of experience volunteering at local animal shelters as well! I am a full-time student at UCSB, I am usually free all day on weekends but I’m able to communicate how my class schedule will fit around caring for your pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to run around, I’ll make sure everything is in great shape for your furry friend. In both my home and yours, your pet is my number 1 priority. About: I never really had to market my pet sitting services, word just got around town! Before I knew it I was taking care of friends’, family’s, and even strangers’ pets (cats and dogs). About: Hi, I'm Philip! I grew up with animals, and have always been around them for as long as I can remember. I started helping to take care of our cats, dogs, fish, and birds at home when I was about 7 years old, and have taken more complex and more numerous animal responsibilities since then. I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards for friends, family, and community throughout my teens and adult life. Daily pet care is as much a part of my routine as much as it is for the pets. I'm a scientist and engineer by trade, and I try to incorporate data on behavior, hygiene, and diet into my pet care practices (while prioritizing data from you, the pet parent!). I respect each animal's unique situation, and always do my best to make sure their needs and sensitivities are met. I've been told that I spoil pets by devoting so much time and energy to them, but so far none of the animals have complained! I promise that your fur babies will be in good hands. Thanks for considering me! I'm currently working part-time, and I currently live in an apartment with my partner and our cats. I'm not currently able to offer board for animals, but I am happy to check in, walk, or pet-sit/house-sit any day after 1pm, overnight on weekends, or overnight on pre-scheduled days of the week. I keep a list (whether mental or physical) of each pet's unique needs, and I incorporate their care into my daily routine. I always start by checking in with the pet themself, and let them know I'm there with them. I'll move on to other priorities and needs, as I'm informed about them. I’m great with puppies who need a little training and older dogs who just want a slow, relaxing stroll. I make sure every walk is fun, safe, and full of good sniffing spots! About: Hello! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 for neighbors, friends, and family. I can walk, bath, dog sit, and give medication to dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs throughout the years until they were able to find homes of their own. I have taken care of multiple sick, blind, and elderly dogs some of which required being carried to eat/got potty. I love spending time with animals and love getting know each new dogs personality! I am currently a student at UCSB and I am usually the busiest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Other days of the week I have quite a bit of free time and would love nothing more than to spend that time with animals! For dog sitting it is important to me that I treat the clients dog/s with respect as well as their home. I have handled multiple blind, sick, and old dogs who need medication and I am familiar with their specific needs. I will communicate with the client to ensure the dogs needs are met and keep the clients dog entertained and healthy. I also understand that some dogs require more space than others and I am always sure to respect boundaries that the dog may want. Previously taking care of other people’s dogs I have taken them on frequent walks and made sure they were well cared for while their owners were away.
