About: Growing up, I was the kid that would rescue injured/baby animals. Safe to say, I love animals and they love me! I have worked at animal shelters for over 3.5yrs. While my positions weren’t direct care, I handled a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve had over 25 strays and foster animals come through my doors in the last couple years (see photos); from bottle baby kittens to adult pitties. And I currently work part time as a Dog Bather at PetSmart. If you need additional help caring for cats/critters/plants, I am more than up to the task! Throughout my life I have owned a variety of fish, mice, hamsters, rats, geckos, snakes, and axolotl, a horse, and up to 90 plants at one time. So I have extensive experience with a variety of animals and plants. I am happy to send you regular updates or only contact you with questions/concerns, depending the level of communication you are looking for. I am attentive and responsible, so I will be sure your pet(s) is loved and cared for to your expectations. Peace of mind is a priority :) I am currently in between jobs, so I have wide open availability! I just left my job of 2.5yrs at an animal shelter, so I have more experience with and knowledge of dogs/dog behavior than your average person. I consider myself a very trustworthy, honest, and responsible individual and have had employers expressed that as well. I take good care of my home and pets would afford your home and pets the same care.

About: Hi! I'm Kayla Barnett, an army wife and proud pet parent to two cats and two dogs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—from growing up with a pet crow named Ivan and a raccoon named Berkeley to rescuing and rehabilitating baby raccoons and skunks. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s part of who I am. I’ve been walking dogs since middle school and have experience with almost every breed, from Affenpinschers to Pit Bulls and Huskies. I also work on manners and socialization, ensuring pets feel comfortable and cared for. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for fellow military families, and now that I’m stationed far from a base, I’ve decided to restart my pet-sitting profile. My husband and I are active, love being outdoors, and dream of owning a ranch in Texas one day. Until then, we’re dedicated to giving your fur babies all the love, attention, and care they deserve—just like we would want for our own! Pet Care Schedule: As a full-time pet care provider, I am committed to ensuring your pets receive the attention, care, and love they deserve, around the clock. I offer flexible pet care services and am available 24/7 to handle any emergencies or urgent needs. Weekly Routine: Exercise & Adventure Days: I make sure each pet gets the exercise they need. For dogs that require a lot of movement, we go on longer walks or runs, depending on their energy levels. I also organize playdates when appropriate, so pets can socialize and burn energy. Training & Enrichment: I provide mental stimulation through training sessions, puzzle toys, and engaging activities. If your pet enjoys it, I’ll also work on specific training goals, such as leash walking or new tricks. Emergency Care: As a pet care professional, I understand that emergencies can arise. I’m available 24/7 for urgent care needs or last-minute appointments. Whether it’s a sudden health issue or you need someone to step in at the last minute, I’m here to help. Special Skills: I have experience with farm animals, exotics, and animals of all sizes, including large and more challenging pets. I am passionate about learning new animal care techniques and husbandry, so whether it’s a bird, reptile, or large farm animal, I am more than happy to take on the challenge! No matter the species, size, or care needs of your pet, I tailor my routine to match their individual requirements. I love all animals, from furry friends to scaly companions, and am dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets. In our home, we believe in creating a space where every pet can feel at ease, whether they’re staying for a few hours or a few days. I share my home with two cats and two dogs who absolutely love making new friends. They help ensure every guest feels welcome, and their playful energy can keep even the most energetic pets entertained. We have a fully fenced yard and a two-story home, so there’s plenty of room for pets to roam and relax. Whether your pet needs their own quiet space, or they prefer to join in on the fun with the rest of the crew, we can accommodate their needs. We also have both small and large kennels for pets who prefer some time to themselves. Safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality. About: Dogs have an incredible way of bringing joy, loyalty, and unconditional love into our lives—and caring for them is something I feel deeply passionate about. From energetic puppies to wise senior dogs, each one has a unique personality and needs that deserve patience, understanding, and compassion. What I love most about working with dogs is the connection and trust that builds over time. Whether I’m out on a long walk, playing fetch, or simply sitting beside a nervous dog to help them feel safe, I find real fulfillment in being someone they can rely on. I take the time to learn each dog’s behavior, routine, and preferences, so I can give them the care they need—not just physically, but emotionally too. I’m also passionate about supporting dog owners by providing peace of mind. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is being cared for with genuine love and attention. My goal is always to treat every dog like my own—with kindness, consistency, and respect. Having my own pets has taught me the values and importance of having pets. It’s become a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday routine. From the moment I wake up, their needs are part of the rhythm of my day—whether it’s feeding them breakfast, taking her out for a morning walk. Or checking in on a quiet cat to make sure they’re comfortable and content. Throughout the day, I build in time for play, cuddles, and exercise. These moments aren’t just for the pets—they’re a grounding part of my own day too. Whether it’s a quick game of fetch or a calm grooming session, these interactions help me slow down and stay present. On a weekly basis, I make time for the “extras” that keep pets healthy and happy—cleaning litter boxes and bedding, checking supplies, washing bowls and toys, and making sure they’re up to date on grooming or any medications they may need. I also spend time staying informed about pet care tips, behavior, and nutrition so I can keep improving the way I care for them. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s woven into the fabric of my life. It brings me purpose, peace, and a lot of joy. No matter how busy the day gets, there’s always time for the animals I care for. In My Home: When I care for a pet in my own home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and welcoming environment that mirrors their usual routine as closely as possible. I make sure they have a quiet space to relax, plenty of fresh water, regular meals, and enriching activities like walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort levels—especially during the first few hours—so I can adjust things to help them settle in. Whether it’s a cat who needs a cozy corner or a dog who enjoys exploring the backyard, I treat every pet like family. In the Owner’s Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to the routines and preferences provided by the owner. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have clean water, and receive the right amount of exercise, medication (if needed), and companionship. I also keep the home tidy—cleaning litter boxes, picking up after walks, and ensuring the pet’s space stays clean and comfortable. I’m mindful of respecting the home, following any specific instructions, and keeping owners updated with regular messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and safe. No matter where I’m caring for a pet, my approach is always based on patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I do everything I can to make them feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds since I was 10. I love hanging out with people’s cats and dogs, playing, and taking them for walks. With a deep love for animals, I bring years of experience and a gentle touch to every furry friend. Though work travel prevents me from having my own pet now, I cherish the chance to care for your beloved companions, ensuring they’re happy and well-looked after. With a flexible schedule, I enjoy starting my day with early morning walks alongside furry friends, setting a joyful tone. Working from home allows me to be available throughout the day, ensuring your dog receives consistent love, attention, and care whenever needed. I offer pet care at both my home and clients’ homes, depending on the service. At my home, I provide a safe, loving environment with space for play and rest, ensuring pets get attention throughout the day while I work from home. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run in the grass. For clients’ homes, I follow their routines, feeding, walking, and cuddling pets in their familiar space, maintaining consistency and comfort. Early morning walks are a highlight, tailored to each pet’s needs.
