About: I’ve grew up and cared several family pets (dogs 🐕, cats🐈⬛, turtles 🐢, birds🦜, and even iguanas 🦎), but I adopted my first Pug in 2005 (13.5 years old) and was a “Step Dog Mom” to very energetic sweet Border collie/Australian Shepherd ( for 9 years) and a German Shepherd/husky (for 10 years). I workan office job full time. I’m known as the office Pet Sitter. Overall, I really love animals and spending time with them. As a single Mom, I know how hard it is with a busy schedule to not have time to walk or spend time with your fur loved ones. I have 2 busy pre-teen boys, but during the Summer (June and July) they are home with their Father. My parenting schedule gives me flexibility for pet boarding and sitting, and dog walks. So please send me a message what works for you, and I look forward to meeting all the dogs ;-) I mean animals. 😊 Please message me what works for you and your pet(s). I tend to stay busy in the outdoors of Gainesville/Alachua area. With or without my pug (Toast) I hope to schedule 2-3 dog walks / day this summer. I have a fence yard and as mentioned, I have a very sweet neutered 2 year old pug. My dog has been around lots of dogs my friends’ and coworkers’ dogs and even takes walks with some of them. When I am not home, he actually goes in his crate (house). Again please feel free to message me what works for you. I do not feed or play and (if you prefer) no walking with my dog with yours. Please see my profile photos of my coworkers’ pets I’ve sat before with and without my dog present.

“Abigail was extremely patient and loving towards my baby girl. Zoey tends to be super nervous and Abigail pulled out all the tricks she could to make Zoey comfortable. I received pictures and feedback during her stay which put me at ease. This visit was a trial visit for a longer future stay and I have no doubt that Zoey will be in the BEST hands!! 💕”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and come from a very animal-loving family. We’ve cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and fish. I also have 5+ years of fostering experience, helping care for over 20 dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I’ve never lived without a pet, and currently I have one dog and an outside cat. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring for your pets, and I would treat them like family. I work from home, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day. I also enjoy going on multiple walks daily, so having a dog to join me would be wonderful. Your pet would receive lots of attention, exercise, and care. I provide a safe and loving environment for pets in my care. I live in a nice, walkable neighborhood that’s great for daily walks. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks to the beach boardwalk. I’m experienced with giving medication to pets, since I give medicine to my own dog daily. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and safe.
“We’re so lucky!! Halle and her boyfriend were absolutely amazing with our dog. We received daily photos and updates, and our pup seemed happy and relaxed when we picked him up. It was a true pleasure and we highly recommend Halle! See you next time, and thank you so much for taking care of Shoko with such love ❤️”

“Amanda takes such great care of my girls! She made them (& me!) feel comfortable upon arrival by showing us the room and beds they’d be staying in. My dogs can be very high energy and she was patient and helped them feel right at home!”

About: I had my two fur kids for the last 14 years and they were my best friends! I am recently an empty nester from being a dog mama and I am missing the companionship. All of my friends say I am their go to Dog Walker and Dog Sitter 🐶🐶 when they travel so I figured I would meet more furry friends this way! I run my business and am fully remote so I can be available any day of the week and hours that are convenient for you. I would be happy to come take your pup for a walk during the day or if you need overnight visits, I can bring them to me.
“Dana was amazing as always. She was so accommodating of our schedule, sent us updates during Rex’s stay, and, most importantly, took such good care of Rex. She is definitely one of the best dog sitters we’ve ever had!”

“We are thrilled to give Danielle 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! This was our first time sending out 2 dogs to a pet sitters house so we weren’t sure what to expect. Danielle communicated with us the whole time, sent tons of picture of super happy dogs, and was even super understanding when we returned home later than expected. Our dogs came back happy, healthy and exhausted. We could tell they had a great time. We will 100% use Danielle as a pet sitter again!”

“Caitlynn is absolutely amazing! She was very responsive, kept me updated on Sage throughout my trip and sent pictures. didn’t have to worry if she was okay. This is my second booking on Rover. The first time was a nightmare, but I’m glad I gave it another shot. I will definitely be open to booking with Caitlynn again for sure.”

“Carolina and her family were so sweet with our dog. They treated his skin condition according to my instructions and also tried their favorite remedy, which seemed to work well. We are so grateful to have Carolina as a caregiver for our dog next time we plan a trip.”

“This was not only our first time using Rover, but our first time boarding altogether our 2 pups and we were picky. Miranda and her husband were SO thoughtful for allowing a meet and greet, as well as making sure setup was perfect, and all pups settled in well and taken care of. She gave updates throughout the day and was very communicative. My pups had a great stay! Above and beyond, and would 100% recommend! She made this fur mama’s heart happy. 😊 🐾🫶🏻”

Gainesville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our 18 year old dachshund had such a great time at Adam's. You could tell he felt comfortable and relaxed there. This says alot because our dog is normally an anxious old man when we go on vacation. Adam sent us pics daily and made sure Bentley didn't jump off of things (which is hard because he is impulsive as well). Adam's love for dogs is very apparent through his pet sitting skills. Highly recommend him for your dog's pet sitting needs!

I would first like to start out by saying I was a newbie at using Rover and boarding my dog. Shey and Michael were great with helping me feel comfortable. I have a large breed dog and they were knowledgeable and was able to take on caring for him. They did wonderful with updates. My dog, Bleu, got along very well with their dogs, especially Ocean! I had issues with my travel plans and they were flexible in allowing me to add on one more day at the last minute. I cannot rave enough about my booking. Definitely will be booking with them again!

First time ever using Rover and obtaining service through a 3rd party. After looking through several profiles we came across Nicole. Put in a Request, thought it would be like a couple of days to get any response, but within an hour she responded. We chatted, she requested information on Kona, as far as vaccines and etc etc. Yesterday May 5th, was the scheduled date to take her there for the day. I cant say enough how pleased we are with Nicoles care of our puppy. Very prompt in answering questions, sending pictures. Truly a professional in her profession. I would highly recommend and I know Kona is looking forward to going back. Just beware, after a long hard play day with Nicole, your puppy will be sleeping all night. Thank you Nicole.. job well done..looking forward to next time soon.

Angelie was amazing with Huggy! He stayed with her for a full week while I was traveling, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in her care. She has great experience with dogs of all sizes, including Golden Retriever, and was very confident handling Huggy while he was still recovering from the neuter surgery. She sent lots of updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind throughout the stay. Her two dogs, Chloe and Cookie, are adorable and very sweet. Even though they’re smaller than Huggy, they got along really well, and it was clear she managed introductions thoughtfully and safely. When I needed to extend the stay, she was flexible and accommodating without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. Angelie is easygoing, kind, and clearly cares about the dogs she watches. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.

I usually never do reviews. But if you need your pet taken care of, Gianna is that person. If I could leave Gianna any more stars I would! She’s so attentive and kind. She took care of my sweet boy for a little over a week and constantly gave me updates. It gave me a piece of mind knowing he was in good hands. I will definitely be rebooking.
