I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors. There’s a lot of grass surrounding the complex. While at work, I prefer letting dogs roam unless they need to be in a crate.

Information Tierra H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet is potty-trained, barks a lot, what motivates/triggers them, diet restrictions, potential health conditions, and if they have separation anxiety. This helps me accommodate their needs.
A typical day
I don't live far from Depot Park, so it would be a nice walk and playtime for dogs. I would also try to teach dogs new tricks or improve their behavior. When I leave my home, I will play classical music so it's not completely silent.

Pet care experience
I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks.

Very accommodating and responsive. Page was right at home and Tierra was sure to send plenty of updates! Will def use her care again!
I know Tierra because I adopted my precious Zimmy from her family. Tierra has since been to visit Zimmy a few times, and I find her to be able to connect with dogs on a deeper level that most of us. She is kind, compassionate, and a devoted dog lover. I would totally trust her with my dogs!
Tierra is truly a dog whisperer. She has spent years helping care for foster dogs, supporting training efforts, and helping dogs find loving forever homes. Animals seem to instinctively trust her because she meets them where they are and understands their unique personalities. I’ve watched nervous dogs relax around her, energetic dogs respond to her guidance, and adopted dogs remember and adore her long after they’ve left her care. Tierra is responsible, compassionate, and deeply committed to the well-being of every animal she meets. I would trust her completely with any pet.
I've known Tierra for years, and one of the qualities I admire most about her is how caring and compassionate she is. She has a genuine love for animals and is incredibly patient, attentive, and responsible. Whether it's making sure a pet feels safe, sticking to a routine, or providing plenty of affection and attention, Tierra always gives her best. She is someone I trust completely, and I know she would provide exceptional care to any pet entrusted to her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter.
