About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, care, and consistency they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors. There’s a lot of grass surrounding the complex. While at work, I prefer letting dogs roam unless they need to be in a crate.

We also did a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs got along, which I really appreciated. It seemed like my dog got lots of playtime with their dog during her stay. I knew beforehand that their dog might tear up soft toys, so we only brought toys we were okay with parting with. However, one of my dog's hard toys and her food bowl also ended up getting chewed, which is not something my dog usually does. Just keep in mind if you bring any toys or food items that their dog may have access to, they may get chewed on.”

This takes place at the location where care will be provided and gives us a chance to review your pet’s routine, home setup, safety needs, and comfort level. **Meet and greet exceptions:** * Cats do not require a meet and greet unless there are medications, behavioral concerns, or a complicated home setup * Puppies under five months may be booked without a meet and greet when appropriate * Returning clients may fast-track future bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested service so we have enough time to coordinate properly. After the initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another visit so I can become familiar with the new layout, entry instructions, and pet-care setup. 🚶♀️ Dog walks and drop-ins I organize dog walks and cat drop-ins into efficient daily routes using flexible arrival windows. This helps reduce unnecessary travel time while still allowing me to provide thoughtful, attentive care during every visit. Dog-care windows: * Standard visits generally take place between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM * Evening visits may be available for dogs who need additional flexibility **Cat-care windows:** * My preferred cat visit window is between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Visits requiring medication or strict timing will be scheduled around those needs whenever possible Dogs are generally prioritized earlier because of restroom needs, but every pet receives the same level of care, attention, and communication. 🐾 Premium boarding Boarding is a high-touch, in-home service for clients who want a fully hands-off experience while their dog is away. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walking, drop-in, or daycare relationship with me. This helps ensure your dog is already comfortable with me, my home, my routine, and my resident pets before an overnight stay. Dogs boarding with me must be safe around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. Dogs showing aggression, predatory behavior, severe resource guarding, or repeated unsafe behavior toward resident animals may not be eligible for boarding. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. This service is priced accordingly to reflect the additional time, travel, and personalized care involved. ⛔ Important booking policies * One complimentary meet and greet is included for new clients * Additional meetings should be booked as a walk or drop-in to cover time and travel * Every pet receiving care must be listed on the Rover booking * Bookings should be confirmed within 48 hours of the meet and greet or the requested time may be released * House-sitting and drop-in bookings follow a seven-day cancellation policy * Availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been formally confirmed by you. through Rover. My goal is to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. 🚨 Safety and stress policy Safety is always my top priority, both for your pet and for me. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

I have been assisting in training future guide dogs for the past 3 years. I would love to take in your cute pups even if they are not potty trained; I have experience and am willing to help potty train or any other forms of training you would like your pup to continue while you are away. I am also willing to administer any medications your dog needs during his/her stay. I am here to make your life easier and give your dog the best experience possible! I will play, walk, cuddle, and love all fur babies! Dogs of any age (as long as they have some vaccinations), size, and gender are welcome in here!

About: I have great experience with all dog sizes, but medium to small is the best for me. I have taken care of elderly dogs before, and I have a small elderly pomeranian at home, so i realize they require gentle care and attention. I have a dog park outside of my apartment that is mostly unused. It is perfect for giving your dog a potty/play break. The street i live on is slow with light traffic. I am able to care for pets 24/7. I am a part time student, mostly on line, so I am at home most of the day. I work in my bedroom or living room, and I have no trouble doing work on my computer with your pet. My apartment is not on a street, just a parking lot. There is a large yard and doggy play pen outside my home. I live with a Vet student, and I am better able to care for animals with her help. I have one roommate, and my apartment is very quiet and large. I am home all day, and i enjoy quiet studying while siting next to your pet. I get bored easily so I go for walks 4-5x a day, which I would love to do together with your pet! I have a lot of patience for animals since I grew up with them, but i prefer low-energy and calm animals because I get overwhelmed easily.

About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I currently work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means I have open availability in the mornings, evenings, and full availability on Fridays through Mondays. There’s a lot of grass surrounding the complex. While at work, I prefer letting dogs roam unless they need to be in a crate.

We also did a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs got along, which I really appreciated. It seemed like my dog got lots of playtime with their dog during her stay. I knew beforehand that their dog might tear up soft toys, so we only brought toys we were okay with parting with. However, one of my dog's hard toys and her food bowl also ended up getting chewed, which is not something my dog usually does. Just keep in mind if you bring any toys or food items that their dog may have access to, they may get chewed on.”
About: I always had dogs growing up in my household and have so much love for them & all other animals. I do have a dog myself & have lots of experience with dog behaviors, medications, dog food, etc. I am a 4th year Animal Science student on a pre-veterinary track at UF & I’m a veterinary assistant at an amazing clinic. When I can, on my free time, I also take the time to volunteer at the Humane Society of North Central Florida. I’ve dogsitted many years for friends & family. I do know how expensive doggy daycares & boarding can be so I wanted to sign up and help pawrents that need a more affordable option. When I’m not working, I have lots & lots of time to hang around your pups, give them company, or just simply walk them! If you have any specific requests, I’m more than happy to accommodate however you’d like. I do live in an apartment so I don’t have a yard but I do walk my girl 3 times a day & she can help keep your baby company. I also have a dog crate and can use it for your pup if you’d like. On some days, I take my baby to the dog park for an hour and can have your pup tag along if you feel comfortable with that.

This recent stay was a bit longer than usual and Cola was out of sorts for the first day or two. She wasn't eating or drinking and I was really worried about her. Mohani went above and beyond to communicate how she was doing and to make her feel as comfortable as possible. Cola eventually settled in and I know that was because of the love and care that she was given.
