“Lindsay did a great job taking care of our two pups! She is very friendly & our dogs warmed right up to her. She was also great at communicating & asking questions to make sure that she was meeting our pups needs.”

“Nina is everything you could ask for to watch your pets. She took care of our older dog and cat for about 3 weeks. This included providing medicine and ensuring our dog didn’t play too hard due to her condition. Also, our cat celebrated 15 years while we were away and Nina made his day special. We received consistent photos, videos, and communication throughout our trip. We even received some great surprise gifts when we came to pick them up! Highly recommend Nina and we would definitely use her again in the future.”

About: (¡Español es mi primer idioma, por si se te hace más cómodo/fácil hablarme en español!) • SATURDAYS ARE FOR FREE!! As a seventh-day adventist I observe the Sabbath, so I do not charge for Saturdays. However, I challenge you to use that money to help someone in need!🙏🏻 Drop off by Friday night: 100% off Drop off on Saturday 7am-11am: 50% off Drop off on Saturday 12pm-5pm: 25% off • There is an extra $5 charge for high energy dogs (meaning they require constant/frequent attention). Right now I'm preparing myself for a professional certification so I'd rather not be constantly interrupted and this is the condition I can provide to help you out. • 8 nights or more are $23/night (first dog) • 1 dog + 1 cat $30/night • $17/day (first dog) for 3 days or more of weekly daycare. Daycare is closed on Saturdays. • I encourage last-minute bookings! If your pet is socialized there shouldn't be any problem. In any case we'll talk about the details and I'll see if I can help you out💪🏻 • Important! Please, let me know of your pet's misbehaviors before booking. I'd really appreciate your honesty, especially if it's a last-minute booking. • Both my apartment and the surrounding neighborhood are very quiet and peaceful. There's a lot of green areas AND a small dog park where they can walk (or run) freely! • Your pet will be part of the family while they're here! They'll receive frequent attention and love if they need it or simple constant caring company if they just want that. • Cats are more than welcome! We love cats too—especially my mom. And don't worry about my dog; he has been surrounded by cats since birth, so he simply ignores them. I occasionally need sitters myself so I know how hard it is to find one that's not painfully expensive AND that you're comfortable with. That's why I want to provide the experience I'd love to receive myself: an affordable care for your pets IN COMBINATION with the most approachable and relaxed atmosphere for you as possible, ESPECIALLY if you're going away for weeks and if you have multiple pets! Let's face it. You're only looking for someone who'd simply be there and take care of them because there's no other option. You'd do it yourself if you could! So shouldn't you find sitters that make you (and your wallet!) feel at peace with leaving your loving companion behind? That's why I'm here to help! A pet parent for pet parents =) I am at home every day, all day long—except when I go out for groceries, which takes no more than two hours. Aside from that, I stay present and keep myself busy in the apartment. I cook, exercise, read, and am currently also studying for a professional certification. I don't have any visitors, nor do I go out for anything else. I moved in a few months ago. Here there's only my dog Mylo, my mother and me. • All of your pet's physical and emotional needs will be met—that is my absolute priority, including their absolute safety. • Regarding male and/or bigger dogs, since my dog is a bit picky at first with some of them, it may be necessary a 5-10 minute 'Parallel Walk' at the meet & greet. We'll just walk around the pond in front of the apartment 1 or 2 times. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I would NEVER intentionally harm an animal. I'd never lay even a finger on pets (to discipline them) that do not belong to me. • I never give human food to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, if you wish to ensure that your pet is the *only* one in my care (other than Mylo I mean) during their stay (for your own peace of mind), I can arrange it for a small additional fee. It is worth noting that, regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. I'll provide as regular communication as you need and pictures of your blessing daily. My goal is your peace of mind and their comfort! • I encourage you to ask me whatever else you need to know!

We could not wish for a better pet caregiver.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Gainesville
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: ☀️ Summer Safety Advisory ☀️ Due to Florida’s extreme heat and humidity, dogs are at serious risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in as little as 10–15 minutes of exertion during peak sun hours. Because of this, all walks during late spring through early fall may be shortened or adjusted for safety and replaced with enrichment-based activities, shaded sniff time, or indoor play when appropriate. Your dog’s health and comfort always come first. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I provide thoughtful, enrichment-focused care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My goal is not just to “get through” a visit, but to make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a background in wildlife sanctuary rehabilitation and have served as an adoptions director, which means I’ve worked hands-on with animals of all temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications ( just not injections), managing multi-pet households, and supporting shy, anxious, senior, or special-needs pets. My approach to pet care is informed by ongoing education in dog behavior, body language, and force-free, reward-based training. I pay close attention to stress signals, pacing, and environment, and I adjust each visit accordingly. Whether your dog needs structured activity, calm companionship, or space to decompress, I aim to meet them where they are. 🦴 Bonus Enrichment Option I also manage one of Gainesville’s top-rated private Sniffspots, The Zoomie Zone, located in Midtown. This fully private, reservation-only yard is ideal for dogs who benefit from off-leash play without the pressure of public dog parks. Many clients choose to incorporate Sniffspot visits into walks or drop-ins as a way to provide safe zoomies, sniff-based enrichment, or low-distraction decompression time. If you’re interested in adding a Sniffspot visit to your booking, feel free to ask. Returning clients can also receive discount codes for independent bookings. Whether we’re heading out for a structured walk, enjoying shaded sniff time, or keeping things low-key indoors, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care you can trust. 🗓️ Schedule and Booking Process To make sure every booking is safe, smooth, and a good fit, I require a free 15 minute meet and greet for all new clients. This takes place at the location where care will happen and helps ensure your pet’s comfort, safety, and compatibility with my services. -Exceptions Cats and puppies under 5 months do not require a meet and greet -Returning clients can fast track bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested booking so we have time to coordinate properly. After your initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another meet and greet so I can learn the new setup. 🚶♀️ Dog Walks and Drop Ins I batch dog walks and cat drop in visits into efficient routes using flexible time windows. This allows me to reduce travel time while still providing thoughtful, attentive care. Dog care windows Standard visits typically occur between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM Evening visits are available for dogs who need extra flexibility Cat care Preferred visit window is 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM If medications or strict timing are required, I adjust visits to meet those needs Dogs are typically prioritized earlier in the day due to restroom needs, but all pets receive the same level of care and attention. 🐾 Premium Boarding Boarding is a high end, in home service designed for clients who want a fully hands off experience. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walk or drop in routine with me. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable with my home, routine, and resident pets. While boarding with me, your dog will -Live in home as part of the household -Be the only boarding guest, receiving one on one attention -Receive daily enrichment and engagement -Enjoy supervised access to my private Sniffspot for play, sniffing, and decompression -Enrichment may include -Food puzzles such as West Paw Toppl meals -Nature walks or hikes in San Felasco, weather permitting -Field trips to quiet recreational fields when no other animals are present -Most dogs return home happy, fulfilled, and ready to nap. 🚨 Behavior Expectations and Safety The safety of my personal pets is a top priority. Dogs boarding with me must be comfortable around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. If a dog shows aggression toward any resident pets, boarding may be ended immediately. In these cases, care will be converted to drop in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship. 🚗 Premium Pick Up and Drop Off For added convenience, I offer a luxury pet transport add on. I can personally pick up and drop off your dog along my daily walking route No handoffs needed, simply leave your dog at home This service is priced to reflect the time, travel, and personalized care involved ⛔ Important Booking Policies -One free meet and greet is included for new clients -Additional meet ups should be booked as a walk or drop in to cover time and travel -All pets must be listed on your Rover profile prior to booking -You have 48 hours after the meet and greet to confirm your booking before the time slot may be released -House Sitting and Drop In services follow a 7 day cancellation policy If you have questions or special circumstances, I’m always happy to talk things through. In my home, pets and plants are family, and every animal in my care is treated with the same level of respect and attention. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Some thrive on companionship, others prefer play, structure, or quiet encouragement. My goal is to be a steady, calm presence your pet can rely on while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or hosting them for a field trip at The Zoomie Zone, I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and low stress environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. During each visit, you’ll receive a detailed update through the Rover Card, including notes on meals, potty breaks, mood, and anything noteworthy from our time together. Occasionally, if your pet gives me a particularly great moment, I may also send a favorite edited photo directly. Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

“Vanessa is thoughtful, super sweet and knowledgeable with dogs. He takes care of Bobby like he was her own. I trust her every time we travel to care for him, without worrying about if he’s going to get taken care of correctly. Highly recommend 10/10”

“I love the team up of Britney and Liyah in caring for our Luna. We always get an update through pictures, videos, and messages. We chat about her food and what to try to get her to eat. She gets along with their Luna, which I know our puppy enjoyed a lot. There is no doubt that they treated her like their own. I trust them and will definitely use them again.”

“Do believe Bo enjoy yourself he even come home with a few more manners Michelle did an excellent job I would recommend her in a heartbeat will definitely use her again”

“Teagan was a wonderful host for my Five Year Old pups first time boarding. She helped me out in a last minute booking while we were at the hospital for a day. She went above and beyond for the care she gave my little one. I am very much thankful for Teagan, and if we have to ever again do an overnight stay or just a day visit to Shands again I will always seek Teagan out every time.”

“Wilhelmina was absolutely wonderful with Cleo - thank you for taking such good care of her and giving me updates throughout the trip! Would definitely book with you again in the future 😊”

“It was my first time leaving our recently adopted puppy with someone and both dogs did great! Thank you for the care and timely updates. We will definitely book again.”

“Your pups would genuinely be missing out if you don't pick Emily as their caretaker. - She was incredible with our dogs and took such loving care of them. - She handled our dog's medication on perfect schedule - Sent us plenty of pictures and even videos to make sure we knew our pups weren't just doing okay, they were having the time of their lives. Our dogs were excited to see us, but clearly sad to leave when we came to pick them up. It's also worth mentioning that this was a last minute booking that she took on to help us out. You can't ask for a more kind or considerate person to take care of your fur babies than Emily!”

“We’re so lucky!! Halle and her boyfriend were absolutely amazing with our dog. We received daily photos and updates, and our pup seemed happy and relaxed when we picked him up. It was a true pleasure and we highly recommend Halle! See you next time, and thank you so much for taking care of Shoko with such love ❤️”

About: I had my two fur kids for the last 14 years and they were my best friends! I am recently an empty nester from being a dog mama and I am missing the companionship. All of my friends say I am their go to Dog Walker and Dog Sitter 🐶🐶 when they travel so I figured I would meet more furry friends this way! I run my business and am fully remote so I can be available any day of the week and hours that are convenient for you. I would be happy to come take your pup for a walk during the day or if you need overnight visits, I can bring them to me.
“Amanda was extremely nice, our dogs LOVED her and the place! Very spacious and nice. Amanda sent updates regularly and also pictures which made me feel at easy. I will definitely book again!”
