“Our pup Walker is not the easiest dog for most people but Chandrika was super comfortable dealing with his anxiety and let him be! It's not easy for us to feel comfortable with someone but she immediately had my wife and I feeling comfortable. We got home from dinner and Walker was happy and fed! We can't for Chandrika to watch walker again!”

About: Hi! I'm a veterinary student with over five years of pet-sitting experience and three years of volunteering with a local humane society caring for shelter animals. Before starting veterinary school, I spent five years as a high school science teacher, which strengthened my patience, communication, and ability to stay calm and dependable in new situations. I currently have two cats and a very senior dog, so I understand firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone else's care. I've relied on Rover myself for short trips, extended time away, and daily pet care, so I know how much communication, photo updates, and maintaining your pet's routine can mean. My goal is to provide the same level of care and peace of mind that I look for when someone cares for my own pets. Caring for my senior dog, along with working with shelter animals, has taught me the importance of patience, reading body language, and building trust at each animal's pace. My senior pup believes every walk should involve stopping to sniff every blade of grass and plenty of cuddle breaks afterward, but I also love spending time with energetic dogs who enjoy longer walks, games of fetch, or even a run! Whether your pet is young, old, shy, or full of energy, I will tailor each visit to their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, snakes, bearded dragons, and axolotls, and I am comfortable with medication administration when needed. Beginning August 4, I will be starting school. My weekday daytime availability will be limited while I adjust to my academic schedule, but I am available for early morning and evening walks/drop-ins, weekends, holidays, and long-weekend bookings. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I'm an early riser and available for morning visits before my day begins, as well as evening walks, drop-ins, feedings, and quality time with your pets. My weekends are wide open, making me a great option for weekend getaways or longer visits. As a veterinary student, I have a consistent schedule and can provide dependable, routine care throughout the week. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand that every pet responds differently when their family is away, so I take time to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and earn their trust at their own pace. During walks, I'm especially attentive to canine body language. My shelter experience taught me to recognize signs of stress and identify potential triggers early so I can keep walks safe and enjoyable. I'm also diligent about doors, gates, and leashes to ensure every pet stays safe and secure.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I’ve been working with animals since I was a little girl, and one of my very first jobs was at a local pet shop called Aquarium Connection. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with all kinds of animals — from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, and exotic pets. I personally own several reptiles myself, so I’m very comfortable caring for reptiles and birds in addition to traditional pets. I’m not afraid to get messy, handle shy or nervous animals, or care for pets with disabilities or medical needs. I’m experienced with giving medications and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Animals have always shown me unconditional love and comfort throughout my life, and being able to give that same care back to them means everything to me. I treat every pet like family and always strive to provide patient, loving, and dependable care. Pet care is a night weekends and holiday job. There are no off days ! I’m currently available 24 seven 365. I am looking to make my passion for animals into a full-time job Caring for my animals and others, is my upmost priority. They receive 100% of my time and attention. I have a completely fence and backyard with plenty of room to run. Inside they have a chance to meet three kitties, and have all the toys in the world. If they’re feeling adventurous, my bearded dragon would probably like to meet them too.

About: As a dog-parent with a bit of extra free time, I want to help fellow dog-parents with busier schedules! I have experience with a variety of dogs breeds and sizes- each with their own unique needs. I am available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, fetch, etc! I have a flexible schedule, as part of my job is dependent on the weather. So on dry weeks, I have quite a bit of free time! I always ensure pets have what they need to be comfortable and safe. I my own space, I have a fenced in yard, and my own 30 lb dog who loves other pups!
“Isabel is a wonderful pet sitter! She is prompt, reliable, communicative, and very loving with our two dogs. It’s such a relief to know your fur babies are in good hands when you are out of town. We absolutely recommend Isabel to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“Daphne made our fur babies feel cozy and well looked after—complete with playtime and lots of cuddles. She even brought in a couple plants that were in danger of freezing on our back porch. We would definitely have Daphne watch our pets again!”

“I cannot recommend Amber enough! She truly cares about our dog, Marty, and goes above and beyond to make sure he is well taken care of during her visits. She’s incredibly responsible, reliable, and patient. I really appreciate the extra steps she takes to make sure everything is just right. Thank you so much, Amber, for treating Marty with such love and care!”

“This was our first experience using Rover and I am so glad we found Danica. We booked Danica to drop in on our kitten based on reading stellar reviews and it was a seamless experience. She came by for a brief meet and greet and to talk logistics. Then during our trip we received daily Rover cards describing how our cat was doing as well as pictures. Would recommend 100%. We will definitely be reaching out for her to watch our cat on future occasions.”

About: I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs, and my love for animals has always been one of the few things I’ve been completely certain about. That passion led me into the veterinary field, where I’ve now worked for the past 3 years caring for animals of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Through my experience in veterinary medicine and boarding facilities, I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once while still making sure each animal receives individual attention, patience, and compassion. I’m also trained in administering oral medications, injections, and other basic medical care when needed. Working closely with animals every day has taught me how important trust, routine, and gentle handling are for pets while their owners are away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra attention, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re part of my own family. I work weekdays 9am–5pm, but I prioritize pet care before and after work, ensuring pets receive attention, playtime, feeding, medications, and loving care. I’m also available on weekends. In my client’s home, I follow each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, litter box cleaning, walks or playtime, and administering any medications as instructed. I also make sure to give plenty of attention, affection, and calm companionship so pets feel safe while their owners are away. I keep the home clean, respect all instructions, and provide updates so owners have peace of mind.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Beyond being raised with dogs in my home, I pet sat for neighbors growing up. In Tampa, I have a labradoodle, Ginger. I am fully available on weekends and most weekday mornings and evenings for pet care. I give complete attention to the pet(s) I am with. Safety is my top priority and making sure the dog feels loved is a close second.
“Stephanie was very kind and loving to our two dogs while we were on vacation in Florida. She played with them, cuddled, fed them and made sure they had water. We loved her pictures she took of our two doggies. It was a comfort knowing Stephanie was taking good care of our sweet dogs.”

“Victoria did a great job taking care of our two cats. She reliably texted me whenever questions arose, and the overall communication, as well as the actual sitting went as smooth as can be. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know their pets in good hand!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and come from a very animal-loving family. We’ve cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and fish. I also have 5+ years of fostering experience, helping care for over 20 dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I’ve never lived without a pet, and currently I have one dog and an outside cat. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring for your pets, and I would treat them like family. I work from home, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day. I also enjoy going on multiple walks daily, so having a dog to join me would be wonderful. Your pet would receive lots of attention, exercise, and care. I provide a safe and loving environment for pets in my care. I live in a nice, walkable neighborhood that’s great for daily walks. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks to the beach boardwalk. I’m experienced with giving medication to pets, since I give medicine to my own dog daily. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and safe.

About: I have had dogs all my life so I am exceptionally used to and familiar with their care. I used to walk neighborhood dogs, big and small, when I was younger. As well as this, I come from a family that does doggy daycare consistently. With that, I am skilled in basic training for puppies and the care of young and old dogs. I am currently a full time student at the University of Florida. I am hoping that pet care will make me more familiar with Gainesville, while also acting as a means for extra income. Most of my pet care would be on the weekends and after 5 on weekdays. I follow consistent schedules in pet care- whether that be walk times or feeding times. Just give me the schedule and I will follow it to a T!

About: I currently have a lab puppy named Jerry (he is in my profile picture) who is very high energy and a cuddly cat named Piper🐾 Throughout my life I have owned and cared for eight dogs of varying sizes, two cats, and a bunch of chickens and goats. So I love animals to say the least!💗 I started pet sitting for family and friends all throughout college and am excited to meet new clients! I have a flexible schedule and am able to fit pet care into times I am not working or doing school work! I am often able to care for pets during the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am able to provide care for client’s pets in their home and can also be trusted to take dogs on long walks outside of the home!

About: I have great experience with all dog sizes, but medium to small is the best for me. I have taken care of elderly dogs before, and I have a small elderly pomeranian at home, so i realize they require gentle care and attention. I have a dog park outside of my apartment that is mostly unused. It is perfect for giving your dog a potty/play break. The street i live on is slow with light traffic. I am able to care for pets 24/7. I am a part time student, mostly on line, so I am at home most of the day. I work in my bedroom or living room, and I have no trouble doing work on my computer with your pet. My apartment is not on a street, just a parking lot. There is a large yard and doggy play pen outside my home. I live with a Vet student, and I am better able to care for animals with her help. I have one roommate, and my apartment is very quiet and large. I am home all day, and i enjoy quiet studying while siting next to your pet. I get bored easily so I go for walks 4-5x a day, which I would love to do together with your pet! I have a lot of patience for animals since I grew up with them, but i prefer low-energy and calm animals because I get overwhelmed easily.

Autumn has watched my senior dog, Gunnar, twice now– once in 2023 for an extended housesitting stay while I was teaching abroad, and once again in 2026 when I needed someone for a few drop-in visits while I was at a conference. Autumn did an excellent job both times! Her communication was excellent– she sent me many detailed updates and lots of great photos throughout the stay! And during our initial meet-and-greets, she asked all the right questions to ensure that she would be able to meet Gunnar's needs. I can tell that she treated Gunnar with love and care, and that allowed me to relax during my trip as I knew he was in good hands. I would not hesitate to book with Autumn again!

I wish I could give Jonathan 10 stars instead of 5. As a professional dog trainer and boarding business owner, I’m extremely particular about who I trust with my own animals. My dogs are elderly and have specific needs, so finding someone dependable is incredibly important. Jonathan exceeded every expectation. Not only did he take excellent care of my dogs, but his communication was outstanding. He responded to messages quickly, kept me updated, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. He followed instructions perfectly, was reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely cared about my pets’ well-being. What impressed me most is that Jonathan truly loves animals. It’s obvious in the way he interacts with them and the level of care he provides. Honestly, he’s so good at what he does that I find myself wishing I could hire him as part of my own team. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, trustworthy, and exceptional with animals, I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough. He is absolutely fantastic.

Brooke P. is a wonder. Since I can’t give 10 Stars, I will give her 5 Stars and my great appreciation. She took great care of our 2 miniature schnauzers Loki & Katniss with great love. Her reports were informative and the photos she sent us were a great comfort to my wife & I on our vacation. Brooke also did an extra visit when I asked with no complaints. I urge everyone to use Brooke because I will use her as needed from now on.

Hilary is fantastic!! My German shepherd absolutely adores her. She is extremely courteous, very communicative, and clearly cares about dogs. I really appreciated how she first interacted with my dog to lay a good foundation for their future interactions. Highly recommend!!

I had to go out of town while one of my fur babies was sick, and leaving him was worrisome. Thankfully, Crystal took great care of him! I got regular updates, photos, and reassurance while I was away. She even kept me updated on how much he was eating and that he took his antibiotic. Would absolutely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
