About: I have had dogs all my life so I am exceptionally used to and familiar with their care. I used to walk neighborhood dogs, big and small, when I was younger. As well as this, I come from a family that does doggy daycare consistently. With that, I am skilled in basic training for puppies and the care of young and old dogs. I am currently a full time student at the University of Florida. I am hoping that pet care will make me more familiar with Gainesville, while also acting as a means for extra income. I do have two kids who are active in sports, so there may occasionally be a soccer game on the weekend or a practice during the week. Your pup will feel right at home here! We have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, as well as kennels/crates available if needed to match your dog’s routine and comfort level. We also have two playful and friendly dogs who are great with both kids and other pups. They love making new friends, whether that means running around the yard, playing together, or relaxing inside. (And yes—zoomies around the house do happen from time to time!) Of course, any interaction with our dogs is always based on your comfort level and your pet’s needs. Our home is a loving, relaxed environment where dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome to snuggle on the couch, get plenty of exercise, and enjoy a consistent routine. Feedings are typically twice a day, with the occasional well-earned treat. While your pet is in my care, I’ll stay in close communication with you—sharing updates, photos, and reassurance so you always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I’ve been working with animals since I was a little girl, and one of my very first jobs was at a local pet shop called Aquarium Connection. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with all kinds of animals — from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, and exotic pets. I personally own several reptiles myself, so I’m very comfortable caring for reptiles and birds in addition to traditional pets. I’m not afraid to get messy, handle shy or nervous animals, or care for pets with disabilities or medical needs. I’m experienced with giving medications and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Animals have always shown me unconditional love and comfort throughout my life, and being able to give that same care back to them means everything to me. I treat every pet like family and always strive to provide patient, loving, and dependable care. Pet care is a night weekends and holiday job. There are no off days ! I’ve also helped train a few service dogs and actively show and compete in sports with my own dog. My life is centered around my dog and I work from home. I can be extremely flexible to fit almost any need or rigorous schedule. I have an apartment by myself, with my 1 dog, with nice trails and fenced in areas to let pets play off leash. I also have different enrichment toys and other exercises for physical and mental stimulation.
