“Valerie was incredible, our pups loved her! She kept us up to date with photos and thorough summaries of her time with them, brought them homemade treats (with our consent), and even left little “report cards” of her time with them as a whole. She will definitely be our go to for the pups in the future. Our minds were completely at ease. Thank you so much again, Valerie!”

I have a miniature schnauzer that loves friends and 2 pre-teens that are homeschooled and love to cuddle with animals all day. I have a big fenced yard and I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks. About: I had a pet-care business a few years ago and had so much fun! Now that my schedule is more flexible, I’d love to get it going again. I have experience with dog walking, pet daycare, and pet sitting for owners going out of town (both cats and dogs). My most recent experience was boarding a puppy for two weeks at my house and it went great! We got to play at the dog park every day and had so much fun. I’m getting my master’s degree remotely, and I love taking my dog for walks when I need a study break. I just recently boarded a puppy in my home over winter break and had a great time! I have a spacious yard, a neighborhood with sidewalks, and an excellent fenced-in dog-park. The park is actually split into two sections, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs, so no worries about anyone getting too rowdy.

About: I am a dog mom to a Belgian Malinois, Husky, and Mini Aussie, with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds including huskies, labs, goldens, pitbulls, doodles, and newborn puppies. This has given me strong experience with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I am very attentive, patient, and especially cautious, with experience handling escape-prone dogs like huskies. I double-check doors, secure all spaces, and make sure everything is fully pet-proof at all times. I am extremely trustworthy and detail-oriented. I am very selective about who cares for my own dogs, so I hold myself to that same high standard. I treat every pet like my own, which is why friends and family consistently rely on me for safe, dependable care. Pet care fits well into my schedule, as I am available for dog walking after 5 PM on weekdays and have additional availability on some weekends. I make sure to plan ahead so I can give each pet my full attention, consistency, and care. In my home, I provide a safe and structured environment. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, but dogs are treated as indoor pets where they are comfortable and monitored. I am very mindful of their health and routines. After playtime, I allow dogs to rest before giving water to prevent overexertion. I always keep a close eye on their behavior, energy levels, and safety. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they are fed on time, exercised properly, and given plenty of attention, while also keeping your home secure and tidy. I am very attentive, careful, and treat every pet like my own to ensure they are both happy and safe.

About: Hi! I am Shawna. I’m a five star Rover sitter with 32 verified reviews, now offering drop in visits and dog walking. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. I grew up with cats and dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. While I no longer provide boarding or doggy daycare in my home, I’d love to help make your day a little easier by caring for your pet in the place they’re most comfortable-their own home. Whether your dog needs a walk, a potty break, fresh food, and water, or just someone to throw a ball and give them some attention, I’m happy to help. For cats, I’m just as happy to refresh litter boxes, feed them, play with them, or simply sit with them if they’re the quiet type who enjoys company. As a stay-at-home mom, reliability and kindness are important to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and to feel confident knowing they were well cared for while you were away. I’ll always treat your pets with patience, love, and respect and I’ll send photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. (My favorite part about being a Rover sitter!) I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Please message me with any questions you may have. I’m currently at home with my 2 kiddos and since it is summertime my availability is pretty open! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine and I enjoy getting out for walks and spending time with animals throughout the week. I’m happy to provide dependable loving care while you’re away. When caring for your pets in your home, I focus on keeping the routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, litter, box, care, playtime, and any special needs or medications. During each visit, I’ll also check that everything is in good order in your home and send updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets feel cared for, calm, and loved until you return.

About: I love animals of all kinds and enjoy exercising with them. I have been responsible to take care of dogs since I was 8, and currently own a small dog. I also have regularly pet sit my friends’ dogs and cats for many years. I am attending school, but most of my classes are online. Because of this, I have an extremely flexible schedule. I also adore animals so have no issue with staying overtime to cuddle with pets. I do have a in-person class so I will be unavailable Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am to 10:00am. I care for pets in the client’s home according to the instructions, however, I will take time to play with your pet and ensure that they are well taken care of. Hailey was absolutely amazing! This was my first time ever using Rover, so I was definitely a little nervous about leaving my dogs with someone new. She made the entire experience so easy and stress free. She took wonderful care of my dogs, kept me updated, and it was obvious they loved her. I came home to happy, well cared for pups, which gave me so much peace of mind. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience, and I would absolutely book with Hailey again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
