Things like their routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, and how they do around other dogs really help me prepare. It’s also good to know if they have any special needs, quirks, or things that make them nervous. Every pet is different, and the more I know, the better I can care for them just like you would!

I work from home, so I’m around most of the day to give plenty of love and attention! Mornings usually start with potty breaks, breakfast, and some playtime to get the energy out. Throughout the day, I take breaks to go outside with the dogs, get some fresh air, and stretch our legs. There’s always time for cuddles, treats, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and happy. We might go for walks, play fetch in the yard, have some tug-of-war, or just relax in the sun. Every pet is different, so I try to match their vibe. Some love to play nonstop and others just want snuggles and belly rubs. Either way, they’ll get lots of attention and care while they’re with me.

I very rarely leave one star reviews. However, I feel this one is necessary for the safety and health of other dogs. I booked Haylie for about 4 days for my trip to California. After reading all the 5-star reviews and trusting Rover’s trust and safety claims, I booked her about a day before my trip. My boyfriend and I dropped my dog off on the way to the airport. When we got to the house, Haylie stood in front of the door clearly not wanting us to come inside. I immediately became uncomfortable with her body language so I asked to see inside the home. She let me in very reluctantly and said “I’m sorry, my house is a mess.” When I walked, I could not believe the condition of her house. There was trash and trash bags on the floor, clothes everywhere, and it was completely dark. It was a mess. Unfortunately, I booked her so last minute, I didn’t have time to find another place for my dog so I left him there. I was hoping she was just having a bad day and didn’t have time to clean up. However, when I came to pick him up after my trip, she stood outside the door again so I wouldn’t see the inside of her house. I asked to see the house again to see if it was in the same condition as I left it and it was WORSE. There was dog hair, trash all over the floor, and smelled like dog pee. There was also another dog there in addition to her pet that she did not mention was going to be there. She gave so many excuses why her house wasn’t clean like her child being out for summer and her working a lot from home, and “not having time” to clean up which to me, are not good excuses when someone is paying you to keep their dog safe while they’re gone. I began to give her feedback and told her my concerns about the condition of her home and she got extremely defensive and rude. As a paying customer, I expect the environment my dog is staying in to be safe and clean at the very least. She sent 7 pictures while I was gone and all of them were inside so I’m not even sure if he got time outside the home while he was there. This environment was not clean nor can it be considered safe for any dog or pet. If you’re going to book Haylie, please don’t do what I did. Go and inspect the house FIRST before booking. If cleanliness and transparency are not a big deal to you then go for it but if they are, I highly suggest looking elsewhere for the safety and well being of your pet.
Precisely on time, helped bring in my UPS package, and took great pics of the pups. Was very nice and the dogs were happy
Haylie took amazing care of our Millie girl. She sent updates each day and made Millie comfortable as it was her first time away from home. She came home happy and lively and I can tell she had a great time. I can’t thank you enough !
Haylie was fantastic! She came to my home and did an initial meeting greet. On the two days that I used her services, she was on time, sent photos, and my boys enjoyed her company. I will definitely be using her again in the future.
