About: I grew up in a home full of animals and loved every second of it. At one point, we had five dogs and six puppies running around house. Being surrounded by dogs was such a special part of my childhood and helped shape my love for caring for them. Today, I have a 3 year old dachshund of my own who has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. As a pet parent, I understand how important it is to know your baby is in safe and loving hands when you’re away. That’s why, on my days off, I enjoy providing that same peace of mind to other pet owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a full-time Nurse Practitioner student, my schedule can be busy, but spending time with dogs is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy incorporating pet care into my weekly routine. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply giving them extra love and attention, I find so much joy in being around dogs. They bring a special kind of happiness and comfort, and I love having the opportunity to care for them when their owners need a helping hand. have a home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. Inside, pets are treated like part of the family and are welcome to relax, play, and roam comfortably in a safe, supervised environment. I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise based on their individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I do my best to maintain the schedule and care they are accustomed to at home. Whether your pet loves playing outside, going for walks, cuddling on the couch, or simply having companionship, I will provide a loving and comfortable environment where they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

She sent lots of pictures for each visit, and really spent her time hanging out with our cats☺️ She took care of everything we asked and was so communicative the entire time. Would highly recommend to watch your fur babies!”

About: Hi there! My name is Amber. I’ve been dog and cat sitting for some time now for several families, and the number keeps growing. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I have a seven yo Golden Retriever named Astro! If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll understand why people trust me with their fur babies—he’s pure joy, happiness, and love. There’s nothing particularly special about my pet care experience or skills—I just genuinely love taking care of animals. I promise to care for your pets the same way you would. During summer break, I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to dedicate ample time throughout the day to feeding, walking, and playing with pets, as well as handling any special needs. Once the school year begins, I am available as early as 2:30 PM on weekdays, which still allows plenty of time in the afternoon and evening for pet care responsibilities. I’m also available on weekends. I’m organized, reliable, and accustomed to balancing a structured workday with other responsibilities, so I ensure that pet care remains a priority year-round. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will keep them on a leash at all times for safety during walks or visits. “Portia was amazing. I’ve never been more pleased with someone looking over my dog. She even came over to meet the dog the day before just to get a feel for her and it was an instant match. I told her my dog loved other dogs and she ended up bringing her own for a play date which my dog loved. If I’m ever in need of a sitter again I’ll for sure be booking Portia!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlantic Beach
Taylor took great care of Maggie, my Black Lab. She stopped by twice during the day for walks and visits and sent me a couple of pictures during each visit, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent, and she answered all of my questions promptly. Since I had never met Taylor in person, I felt completely comfortable leaving Maggie in her care. I would definitely recommend her and would gladly use her services again.
Jackson was great at getting back to me for a last minute request. It was a hot day and I told him my lab would rather play in the pool versus go for a walk and he did not hesitate to indulge her. He was incredibly communicative with pictures and she was thoroughly exhausted for the rest of the day! I would definitely recommend him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
