“Tannia and her husband were absolutely amazing! My pup Rori loved every minute of the stay! Tannia sent me updates and pictures everyday. Rori already wants to go back and play with her new friends! Will definitely be using Tannia and her husband again!”

About: Recently moved here from our family farm in central Minnesota, I have experience in working with a multitude of animals. Any animal from dogs to cattle, poultry to pigs and cats to horses! I have experience in dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family with or without being paid. I have a walker hound back home on the farm who loves to run around the farm and lives to hunt so changing his environment from the farm to an apartment didn’t seem fair to do. I miss him dearly, and have such a love for dogs, I would take them all home if I could! I also have experience working on a pig farm as a farrowing technician (assisting in birthing) and all the daily cares and medications from the time they’re born until they are weaned to another farm - also medication administration for sick pigs, including injectables. I have experience and training done on caring for elderly horses. I have experience milking cows and caring for young calves. I have fostered and cared horses until they were able to find homes, which is always tough having to say goodbye and trust they are going to a good home. Out of all the animals in the world, my heart will always love dogs the most. I do enjoy having cats around, unfortunately I am allergic so I can’t have any of my own. But I love dogs with all my heart, I think it’s safe to say I love them more than people! I may be new to the state of Florida, but I have a lot of time and dedication to offer as I am a “stay at home wife” to a husband in the Navy. We will be in the area for the next 5 years, and I would love to meet some people and help with their pets in anyway I can! Even if it’s just a drop in visit so they don’t feels so alone for such a long stretch of the day. I am ready, able and willing to love and care for your dog just as you do! I have TWO letters of recommendation I can share from my previous employers as well. I am a wife to a husband is in the Navy, so anytime he’s gone, I would really love the company!! Currently looking for a part-time job here so I can easily accommodate to pet owners who need boarding services! I live in a secure apartment complex that has a gated parking lot and sidewalks, and a fenced in dog park. It’s very peaceful and quiet here but there’s other dogs to play with as well! I also spend a lot of time walking the beach on the Mayport Naval base and would be more than happy to get your dogs steps in somewhere besides the hot concrete! I don’t have any children yet, and my dog is back home on the farm in Minnesota - not pets here. Just my husband and I!

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, you name it. I currently have two dogs and a cat, pet sit for neighbors, family, etc. I am a teacher, so currently off for the summer with a flexible schedule. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer and during the school year I am home by 2:30 on most days. I go in very early, so my husband does morning walk and breakfast with your dogs. If I am sitting it will be me doing all walks. We live in Atlantic Beach on a cul de sac, with a fenced back yard and lots of room. In the summer my day consists of yard work, gardening, and beach walks. Weekends are generally with my husband and friends. My dogs go for daily walks and pretty much follow me around all day! The cat either lays under the boat or on my daughter's bed depending on her nap schedule. Dogs get breakfast, a snack and dinner at 6:30 sharp and yak chews from the farmer's market as their treats. If house sitting I will do whatever the pet owners prefer.
“Catherine and her home were a great fit to watch my Stella! She was very communicative and made her feel right at home. We would absolutely use Catherine to board again!”

“Lorraine was a fabulous pet sitter. She was very flexible with our flight changes. She sent pictures and messages that put me at ease while we were out of the country. Thank you Lorraine, we will definitely use your service again.”

“Our dog usually doesn't like the sitter's house, but Debra spoiled her so much that she was happy to be there! It's nice to find someone who not only watches dogs but also really enjoys them!”

“Patti is so sweet and my fur baby loves her (and she is very picky!). She takes such good care of her. I will always use Patti when I need someone to watch my fur baby.”

“Eleanora and Marco were a pleasure to deal with. Their home is immaculate and they’re both extremely professional and trustworthy. They communicated daily with us and sent several videos and pics. We will definitely be boarding our dog with them again in the future!”

“Wendy was amazing! It was our first time sending our Peanut to her and She always sent us pictures and really cute ones also! We’ll most definitely be sending him to her again.”

“I really don’t want to leave a review because then everyone will know how wonderful Joann is and how happy their dog will be when they stay with her. That is all I have to say.”

“Maria is a godsend. My Jade had the best time! I received photos and videos throughout her visit. This was her first time with a babysitter, ever. Maria was so kind to keep us updated and show us how happy my baby was while there! We have many more bookings set up and are so relieved and grateful for Maria. Thank you so very much for being such a wonderful sitter!”

“I cannot recommend Carolyn enough! This was the first time I’ve ever left my dogs, Onyx and Rebel, with someone else, and I was incredibly nervous. Carolyn was amazing at putting my mind at ease. She handled Rebel’s high-energy personality perfectly and was so gentle with Onyx, who is much more timid. I loved receiving the daily updates and photos. Onyx enjoyed being able to relax on the couch like she does at home and Rebel loved having a choice of toys to play with. When I picked them up, they were both happy, relaxed, and 'smiling.' I’m so relieved to have found a sitter I can trust and will definitely be booking with her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atlantic Beach
Lauren and her pup Brew were excellent hosts for our high energy dog Luna! The two dogs got along like best friends and Lauren was professional, communicative and clearly cared about our dog and worked to get her (high!) energy out. We would absolutely recommend Lauren and would certainly book with her again.

Suilen “Sue” is the absolute BEST! This was my Levi’s first visit and Sue took such phenomenal care of him! He felt immediately comfortable in her home, and didn’t miss a beat on any of his activities! He walked, slept, played, ate, and was so content. Most importantly, he got along amazing with the other dogs she takes care of, and that is huge! Levi even got a take home baggy with thank you treats! I cannot wait to bring him back!! 🤍🐾🐾🐶

My little boy came back clean and soft with these adorable Polaroids pics of his 9 days away! Each day I had pictures and a little note of what they were doing for the day. This brought me so much peace while I was away. The true test of any dog is if they will go on a starvation strike the first few days. Morkie felt so comfortable with her that he ate more food than when he stayed with my sister! They even let him sleep on their bed with him. He was so loved! Thank you Rebecca for keeping his routine and making him feel like we were never gone!

Nancy took great care of Sasha during her stay. She was very responsive whenever I had questions and easy to communicate with throughout the entire booking, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Sasha came home happy and relaxed, which is always the best indication that she was comfortable and well cared for. I appreciated Nancy's updates during the stay and would feel comfortable leaving Sasha with her again in the future. Thank you, Nancy, for taking such good care of my sweet girl!

We had a wonderful experience and we look forward to rebooking in the future. I have never felt so comfortable and reassure while I was traveling, and someone else was with our fur baby. I will add that he was happy when we got back, but I could tell that he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Thanks again for your services. We look forward to working with you again.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
