About: Hi, we’re Anna and Nick, your neighbors and fellow dog lovers. We have a goldendoodle and three dachshund who love having friends over. They’re all very social and sweet with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Please check out their pet profiles for more info. We offer daycare and overnight stays at our house. Nick and I both work from home and have a flex scheduled. We have plenty of time to give the pups lots of love and attention throughout the day. No kids. We give lots of attention and outside time. Our home is a calm, dog-focused environment. We have a large fenced yard and are outside a lot. We have a pool. While our dogs don’t swim, many of our friends’ dogs love a dip. We don’t mind! We love it. And we won’t leave them unattended.
“Patty was fantastic in caring for my miniature daschund Richard. Patty knows the breed well and was very quick in understanding Richards quirks. She was patient and kind with him and I could see that he loved spending time with her because he would run to her door in the morning to see her. I could not have been happier with Patty, she is amazing. Thank you Patty.”

“Tannia and Chris went above and beyond my expectations when caring for my senior girl. They are very accommodating and their knowledge of animals is impressive. They took alot of time listening to my concerns/instructions and followed them carefully. Thank you guys for loving on and caring for my baby.”

“I have never met such a professional and loving dog carer as Suilen. My Teddy simply adored her during his three days staying with her. She sent pictures and videos and I must say it was a pleasure working with Suilen. I would only leave Teddy with her from now on…he had the best time!”

About: I grew up in a home full of animals and loved every second of it. Being surrounded by dogs was such a special part of my childhood and helped shape my love for caring for them. Today, I have a 3 year old dachshund of my own who has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. As a pet parent, I understand how important it is to know your baby is in safe and loving hands when you’re away. That’s why, on my days off, I enjoy providing that same peace of mind to other pet owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy incorporating pet care into my weekly routine. They bring a special kind of happiness and comfort, and I love having the opportunity to care for them when their owners need a helping hand. have a home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. Inside, pets are treated like part of the family and are welcome to relax, play, and roam comfortably in a safe, supervised environment. I understand that every dog is different, so I do my best to maintain the schedule and care they are accustomed to at home.
“Lana was responsive and warm from the start, took care of my baby at the last minute for us and it went great. First time using a dog sitter but we will be repeat customers.”

“Carolyn took great care of my Dustin boy!! She kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the day! Will definitely be using her again to watch my sweet boy. Thank you!”

About: I'm the proud mama to 3 mutts: Bull/Terrier Mix, Kodak, & two Basset/Lab Mixes, Nikon & Fuji. I have always been a dog lover & have fully enjoyed dog-sitting & dog-walking for friends & family back in OKC, my hometown, & I can't wait to get to do the same for your fur-member here in JAX! I also work at a dog park bar & have gone through dog behavior training & walking. I work full time from home M-Fri, but I can be flexible and am usually available on the weekends. I also take care of my motley crew of 3 pups on the daily. At my own home, I have a fenced-in yard and our dogs to either keep your pup company or have multiple crates to separate them if necessary. I'm happy to check in or dog sit at clients' homes too.
“Amazing, simply can't say enough good things things about Diane & Greg! Our puppy had the time of his life and we felt completely at ease leaving him. Such lovely people and if you're looking for excellent, reliable, caring dog-sitters then look no further! We will be using Diane & Greg anytime we need a sitter.”

“JoAnn is the absolute best! I’m a nurse who works long hours and she’s always accommodating of my schedule. My dog Meeko loves going to daycare and I never have to worry when he’s there. She also painted a beautiful portrait of my Meeko that I am so grateful for. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: What sets me apart is the love, patience, and genuine joy I bring to every pet I care for. I treat each dog like part of the family and take time to learn their routines, quirks, and favorite ways to be spoiled. I have years of experience as a dog owner, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs who prefer naps over marathons. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, and making sure every pet feels safe and at home. My goal is simple: happy dogs, relaxed owners. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily adapt to each pet’s needs—whether that means regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just quiet company during the day. Pets in my care are rarely left alone and become part of my everyday routine. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and loving environment. I have a large, fully fenced yard, which allows dogs to enjoy safe outdoor play and potty breaks under supervision. Inside the home, pets are treated like family. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, keeping everything consistent so pets feel comfortable and safe. My goal is always to create a stress-free environment where pets feel happy, secure, and well cared for.

About: Experienced and trustworthy pet sitter/dog walker who loves animals. I’ve taken care of dogs of all types and also work with dogs on training at all stages. I can take the laziest dog and make them into an active pup and am comfortable walking long distances. I am also comfortable with walking up to 3 dogs at one time. I treat every dog like they are my own and provide detailed reports back to you at the end of each walk or time pet sitting. I am also experienced in taking care of puppies as well as senior dogs who might need some additional love, care or medication. I am looking forward to meeting your fur baby and helping with your pet care needs! :) I work from home so pet care is great with my schedule! I keep the dogs in a routine just as I do with myself everyday. I don’t leave the dogs for longer than 4 hours and that’s IF I even have to. I work from home so the pups are barely alone. I make sure I am able to keep them active throughout the day to get their playtime and exercise in.

“Wendy was so great with Dustin! She kept me updated with pictures all day. Great communication and highly recommend! I will definitely be using her for my coming up trip! Thanks for taking good care of my Dusty!”

About: I grew up in a country area, we had a lot of animals growing up. We had to take care of chickens, bunnies, roosters, horses, cows, guinea pigs and dogs. I think I have a strong base to take care of a pet appropriately. Plus we are a military family l, most likely you will find us on base! Currently I am employed full time in a working from home environment, at times I can be called in to deploy out of state but I will let you know in advance! Mostly I am available during weekdays in the morning before 8am and in the afternoon after 4:30pm. I can also be available on Saturdays with prior notification/plan. We have a fenced yard, lots of green areas, trails that we can walk to, a dog park and well lit areas. For me this is as serious and delicate as taking care of a child, I will ask owners if treats are allowed or anything that is allowed/not allowed.

I’m always worried about leaving my pups with anyone, but after meeting Suilen and her pup Gracie. My two dogs cees and Archie loved them instantly. That was a sign that Suilen was going to be great and they would be in great hands. The level of communication is top notch!!! Five stars across the board

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
