“Olivia was awesome taking care of my little Leopoldo while I was away ❤️ She is super reliable and responsive and I definitely recommend her and hope to have her persisting him again in the future :)”

About: Hi, I’m Catie! I work full-time from home and love spending my free time outdoors with animals whenever I can. My family and friends joke that I “disappear” in public because I’ll stop to greet every dog I see or, if I’m out on a run, I’ll randomly pause just to say hi to cats sitting outside along the way. Being active and around pets is a big part of my lifestyle, which makes pet care a natural fit for me. I take care instructions seriously and focus on making sure each pet feels comfortable, stays on their normal routine, and is happy and well cared for. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and those with special health needs. I’m comfortable with senior care, special diets, and helping animals who need extra patience to warm up. I also have volunteer experience with a rescue organization, along with hands-on experience administering medications and managing special diets. Keeping litter boxes clean is second nature to me, and I understand how important cleanliness and consistency are for cats. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to adjust my availability as needed. You’ll also get regular updates, photos, and clear communication. I’m basically that person who can’t resist taking pictures of photogenic pets, so expect a lot of cute photo spam too. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I have pets of my own and am used to keeping up with schedules, routines, and all the day-to-day care that comes with them. Since I work from home, I also have the flexibility to fit visits into my day more easily than someone with a more structured work schedule. I’m very intuitive with animals and usually pick up quickly on their moods, comfort levels, and personalities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow their usual routine as closely as I can, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box care, and any other instructions. I also pay close attention to behavior and comfort to make sure they’re getting the care and attention they need while their favorite human is away.

“Briana was super attentive with my cats, one of which requires daily SubQ fluids! She gave detailed notes for each visit, and plenty of pictures (my favorite part). My cats were well taken care of! I could not recommend her more.”

About: I am a true dog lover. I have been taking care of pets for over 30 years. I have had 7 dogs of my own and my last 2 lived to be 17 and 19 years; a testament to the wonderful care that I provide them. I am experienced in all aspects of pet care, including house breaking, behavioral training, health issues, medication dispensing, and geriatric care. But most importantly, I will care for your fur baby just like they are my very own. Do they love a snuggle? So do I. Do they love to walk? So do I. You let me know what is important to you in your pet's care and I will provide it. I am here to make your life easier as well as make sure that your pet is healthy, safe, and happy while you are away! I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet/s. I am available 24/7. I work around your schedule. I live in a single story home with a fenced in yard. I also have an Autoslide dog door. This means that the dogs have access to the backyard whenever they want. I have two miniature schnauzers (Adele and Tallulah) who love play dates and can't wait to entertain your fur babies. I am able to crate your pet if needed, but I welcome them to sleep with me and my schnauzies in our comfy Queen size bed. My home will be their home away from home.

“Colin was fantastic and helped us out when we needed a last minute sitter for our dog Oakley. He took great care of him and our minds were at ease knowing Oakley was in good hands while we were away.”

“Lindsey did a wonderful job taking care of Nala while we were on vacation for a week!! She sent lots of sweet pictures and gave us a report of how she was doing each day. We would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her!!”

About: Ive been babysitting dogs for neighbors and friends since I was a kid. I’ve always felt more comfortable around dogs than people. Dogs bring so much joy to the world and I love how excited they get over everyday small things. I’m not working right now so I’m excited to help take care of your dogs (and cats) while you are away. I’ll have plenty of time to play with them and take them for walks. I have a senior cat who is 13 and sleeps most of the day. My parents have a 1.5 year old goldendoodle who is high energy and loves everyone. I would be interested primarily in walking dogs and taking care of dogs/cats in their homes. It may be possible to take care of some dogs in our home but only if they are able to stay with an energetic puppy.
About: Hey there, you can call me Bee! :) I've had a mix of animals my whole life, from goats and chickens and cats and dogs in my childhood, to my own small zoo today! I have three cats and a dog at home, and as a result I have experience handling multiple animal personalities and making sure they all feel safe and comfortable during transitions, such as going to the vet, meeting a new friend, etc. I love to walk and enjoy taking my dog along so she can really soak up the sun and burn off energy. My day job goes until approximately 1:30/2pm every day, so I'm completely free in the afternoons and evenings! I am usually free to help out weekends, as well! I ensure that my home is a clean environment safe for pets at ALL times. This means no human food left unsupervised, no toxic plants, and no access to chemicals/medications/other no-nos. I also enjoy catering to pets' needs, whether that is hyper playtime or serene strolls!

About: Even though I am relatively new to having a kitten, I have learned so much from it and I have certainly done my research to make sure my kitty is always happy and healthy. I’ve never owned a dog, but I have been constantly around them from a young age because most of my friends and family have them. With that being said, I’ve gained a decent amount of knowledge on how to take care of them! I’ve done it all from stopping by to walk dogs to overnight stays for long periods! I’m currently working part time so I have more time to give your fur babies some extra love! I’m available Friday-Monday for in home boarding. For regular walks and check ins, I’m free almost everyday except for Tuesday-Thursday after 4pm. I will provide your fur baby with attentiveness to make sure they are safe and comfortable. I will also make sure they don’t stray away from their routine, so they are happy and healthy by the time you return!
About: Hi, I’m based in st Augustine Fl and I’ve been with Rover for 5+ years. As well as nine to five pets for 3 years.I know how important loving, reliable care is. I especially adore Brussels Griffons, but I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and ages. ❤️ I send detailed reports and photo updates on your pups visit and will give them all my attention :) I work remote so I have flexibility to do walks every 2-4 hours. I will be able to come by at various times of day I will have the dog on the leash at all times outside unless noted otherwise. I can take them outside and play within fenced in yard.
About: I combine professional reliability, strong handling skills, and a genuinely calm, patient approach with every dog I care for. I’m experienced with large breeds, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, service animals, and pups who need a confident, steady walker. I’m also comfortable supporting senior dogs, including slow‑paced walks, and extra‑gentle care. I have experience reading dog body language, managing leash reactivity, and keeping dogs focused and safe during walks — especially in busy or high‑distraction areas. I’ve also worked with puppies, helping reinforce good habits like loose‑leash walking, basic commands, and consistent routines. Whether it’s a beach walk, a neighborhood stroll, or a drop‑in visit, I show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat every dog like my own. My goal is simple: happy pups, stress‑free owners, and walks that make tails wag. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I’m currently building another dog‑focused business, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop‑ins, and consistent recurring clients. Since my work already revolves around dogs, I’m able to give each pup plenty of time, attention, and reliable care. When I’m caring for pets—whether on a walk or at a client’s home—I focus on safety, structure, and keeping each dog relaxed and happy. On walks, I use calm, confident handling, pay close attention to body language, and avoid situations that could cause stress or reactivity. I keep a steady pace that matches the dog’s needs, offer positive reinforcement, and make sure they get both exercise and mental stimulation. In the home, I give plenty of attention, and make sure each dog feels comfortable and secure.
“Paige was patient, kind, and an incredible communicator! She worked with our anxious dog and never gave up until she won her over. We highly recommend her as she took our dog on daily walks, gave her medication, sent so many cute videos and pictures!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who has owned pets my entire life and truly understands how much they mean to a family. I currently have two dogs of my own-a sweet cockapoo named Tank and a friendly golden retriever named Simba-so I'm very comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Professionally, I've been a real estate and property management brokerage owner for nearly two decades, entrusted with managing and protecting my clients' biggest investments. That experience has made me dependable, detail-oriented, and highly trustworthy. I recently moved to Florida to be closer to family and am now partially retired. I'm excited to take on opportunities that bring me joy while maintaining some income-especially roles where I can care for pets and give them the love and attention they deserve. I would treat your home and your animals with the same care and respect I give my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I prioritize consistency and reliability for every visit. I typically offer morning, midday, and evening drop-ins depending on your pet’s needs and your preferred schedule. I’m flexible and can accommodate set feeding times, litter box cleanings, playtime, and medication routines. I build my day around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get calm, unhurried attention during each visit. Whether it’s a quick check-in or more involved care, I make sure your pet's routine stays as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I provide all pet care in my clients’ homes to ensure pets remain in a familiar, comfortable environment with minimal stress. I follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I take safety and trust seriously and treat every home with respect, keeping doors secure, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring your pet is always safe during my visits. My goal is to create a calm, reliable presence for your pet while you’re away, giving them consistent care and you peace of mind knowing both your pet and home are in responsible hands.
Saint Augustine dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mike did such an incredible job with our girl. We came home and she was clearly very well taken care of. We loved receiving the videos and he gave her extra love than we had even expected. 10/10 recommend for a trustworthy, kind, loving sitter. Also, is great overall with dogs since she is reactive to other pups.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for Rhiannon entering my little girl Kailani’s and mine’s lives. She is extremely attentive to Kailani and pays attention to the details of her behavior enough to where if any slight change, will text me. I highly recommend Rhiannon to take care of your babies as well. You will be extremely satisfied with the quality of care Rhiannon provides and find comfort knowing your pet(s) are in good hands to where you don’t have to worry.

Julie was a great first experience with Rover! She was very nice, professional, and even took the time to meet our dog before our trip. She arrived right on schedule and made sure our pup was fed and given her medication exactly as instructed. She was incredibly sweet and patient with our nervous dog, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away.
