About: I do not currently have a pet, but I have been fortunate to have had and loved two amazing dogs in my lifetime. Each was an only pet at the time. Each lived to about the age of 16 and both were rescues. Both dogs traveled with me and moved numerous times with me. I have worked with, and networked in animal rescue and have worked extensively with marine animals, as well. I have some knowledge of training techniques and added to the repertoire of behaviors of each of my pets. I do not drink or smoke and live in a smoke-free home. Since I am retired, I have a great deal of free time. My schedule is my own. While I don't currently have a pet, I miss the companionship of having one, so would love to companion your pet. I adore doting on all types of animals. Animals must be up to date on shots, vaccinations, etc. I'm pretty good at reading the needs of a pet. If they want to cuddle, I'm GREAT at cuddling. If they want to be left alone, I can do that. I'm a very cautious, dependable and trustworthy person. I take and follow orders well....smile. I adore animals of all kinds and love watching and/or being around them.

“Christina is the best! She took great care of Arlo and sent pics of him daily (at each drop in). It's hard to get away from home knowing Arlo is home alone but knowing Christina is taking care of him makes it so much easier. Will definitely contact Christina the next time we have to travel!”

“Phenomenal Cat sitter. I have a very shy cat but she Roseanne up with an idea that really helped to bring Stella out from under bed. Her persistence caring and loving impressed me so much. Roseanne was also flexible and easy to work with and an excellent communicater. I highly recommend Roseanne for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life. Dogs, cats, turtles, horses. All ages, all breeds, all behaviors! I’ve walked dogs, house sat, cared for cats, and made sure any furry friend was happy and comfortable. Your pet will always come first! I’m flexible and can fit your friend into any part of my day. No matter the distance, I will always make sure your pet is taken care of. I make sure the pet is comfortable with me, and take all needs into consideration to make sure they feel safe with me. Doing this allows me to build trust with them and make sure they’re okay while you’re away.
About: I do not have any pets. Your dog or cat will get my full attention. I work mostly from home so your dog or cat and I will be together a lot!! :) I have a large fenced-in yard (lots of room to play fetch). I go for walks anyway so would love to be able to have a dog with me!!! I grew up with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters… Love them all. My parents have a small dog; do I visit them or do I visit their dog??? 😆 Sometimes I think I prefer dogs over people. I am able to walk for an hour or more if needed and I live in Arlington. I will walk your dog three times a day and more if needed. There’s a park a few blocks away which I think is a decent stretch of the legs. I love playing with the dog (or cat) that is in my house. It may not be a big house but we can run around and play!!
“She was very personable. I felt very comfortable leaving her alone in my house. The animals loved her. I welcomed her with open arms to hang out at my house and cook and relax. I would definitely use her again anytime.”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up and in recent years I shared a dog with my precious partner for 3 years (in pictures). My girlfriend currently has a 1 year old dachshund/poodle mix (newest dog picture). Hoping to be able to take care of everyone’s best friend ❤️ I am in full time school so I am very flexible except for Wednesdays is in person. All other days is remote work and studying so can work around the pets schedule! I will care for them as if they were my own, and give them the care as if they were family. Make sure they have undivided attention

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Coast
Absolutely amazing- Our dogs can be difficult with Ragamuffin’s energy and Dawn’s shyness, but they seemed to open up to Sherry and were happy in her care. She listened to feeding instructions which weren’t simple and was very helpful given the last minute nature of the request.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
