About: I live a block from the beach & can guarantee a sunrise and sunset walk daily. I also work from home, so your doggo will have company. I have a fenced yard and an XL crate, if you need one. I've had two big/XL dogs. My last dog passed away recently (she was 14) and I'm not ready to get another dog of my own yet. I live at the beach, so we'll enjoy sunrise & sunset walks daily to avoid the hot afternoon pavement. Frequent bathroom breaks are also possible in my fenced yard. I work from home (mostly conference calls) so I'm pretty flexible. Doggos can mostly have free reign of the house, depending on the owner's confidence. I also have a large crate if supervision is needed for the dog's safety. I've had XL & large dogs for the last 15 years (no dogs in the house currently)

We left our labradoodle Duke with Fred & Katie for 10 days but our flight got delayed and had to extend one additional day. “This is the first time I've left my dogs with Lorrie and I'll admit to being a little nervous. I was worried because my dogs get to come to work with me and are never alone for more than three or 4 hours at a time. Additionally, we were going to be gone 9 days and be out of the country. Finding someone who would take the dogs for that long was a bit of a challenge. Lorrie was very understanding and we had a meet and greet in her home so my dogs could meet her dogs. Note: she's got a beautiful fenced in backyard! Once that meeting went well, I booked a short afternoon stay so that my dogs could become more familiar with her and her dogs. They seem to have a good time so we confirmed our big trip. After we dropped the dogs off and all throughout the time we were gone, Lori sent pictures and on one occasion a short video. That communication was very much appreciated. When we got back and picked the dogs up she had given them a bath and had them ready to go. About: I’ve had and been around dogs my whole life! I grew up with a boxer and now I have a cockapoo so my experience ranges! I am a recent college graduate spending time at home for a little bit, so I have lots of flexibility that I am willing to work with you on! I take very attentive of any dog I care for! About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life big or small. Making dogs feel loved and at home is a number one priority. Active pup deserve just as much love as relaxed pups. I am a current grad student, when I am not in class I spend my time with my dog and give him all the attention in the world. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I have plenty of trails and walking spaces for your baby to have the exercise they need. With living in an apartment I make do with the resources I have.
About: My family recently lost our beloved Rottweiler. I would love to care for another persons pet and treat them as my own. We miss having a dog around but are not ready to get another one yet. I have 20+ years experience caring for dogs and cats including all types of breeds. I would love to host your pet in my home. I do not accept dogs that are not potty trained. I DO NOT ACCEPT PITBULLS. I am always available! I can work with any schedule. I can let your pet out as much as needed and feed them on any schedule that you prefer. if your pet is staying in my home, I have 3 small children so they must get along with kids. NO EXCEPTIONS. My kids adore animals and are very gentle and careful with them. They were great with our Rottweiler who recently passed away. We will treat your pet as our own and give them love and attention all day long.

We 100% recommend!! Joseph had amazing communication and we got so many photos of our dog snoopy during his stay. Snoopy got so many walks and got to play outside so he was able to get so much energy out! He was also very open with some things that snoopy does (he’s young and working to be fully trained so he jumps on counters etc) and he was very nice about all of it. Joseph definitely understands and knows a ton about dogs to be able to care for them the best way possible!
I have only wonderful things to say about Shaye taking care of my dog, Luna! This was my first experience using Rover, and I will be honest to say I was a bit nervous, but after having a meet & greet w/Shaye and her dogs, I felt totally at ease! Shaye and her husband were so warm, kind and caring towards me and Luna! She gave me daily updates, pics and videos, which I so appreciated! I will continue to use her as my dog sitter!!

We received updates as we were away which kept our minds at ease. On top of daily walks, they also catered to Koda’s love of playing fetch. Melinda did an excellent job! My dogs loved her and so did we! Leaving your babies is always sad but it was so nice to know that they would be happy and well taken care of. We AND our dogs loved her at first sight. She even sent pictures every day. Next time we go anywhere and need a sitter we will definitely pick Melinda. She’s like family now!!!
