“This was the first time I’ve ever been apart from my two boys since they came into my life almost five years ago. I work from home, so they’re both very attached to us, and leaving them was something I was extremely nervous about. When I reached out to Harley, she came by to meet them — and from the moment she walked in, I knew she was special. My boys are usually shy and tend to hide when new people come over, but not with Harley. They walked right up to her, curious about the new girl in the house, and before I knew it, they were playing and showing a side of themselves I hadn’t even seen before. You know what they say — pets can sense these things. Saying Harley was amazing doesn’t begin to cover it. She was so much more. She stayed with my boys and sent me photos and updates of how they were doing. They were a bit confused at first but quickly adjusted to having her around. After we got home, both cats kept going in and out of the guest room she stayed in — I’m pretty sure they were looking for her. I even caught them napping on her bed a couple of times, and they never show any interest in that room! About: Vet assistant for 5+ years throughout NY, Aspiring vet tech taking classes online, Experienced dog walker and was an in home pet sitter prior to moving to FL. I have 4 cats. (My Chihuahua recently passed due to heart failure) I love all animals and am comfortable handling any size or shape. I prefer friendly animals (of course!) But I have dealt with aggressive dogs and succeeded in gaining their trust and building a great relationship with them. - I was the only walker, besides the business owner, who could tend to the Australian Shepherd. After figuring out how to leash him, once we got outside of his house he was a huge mush! We would picnic and exchange kisses (picture included in my photos)! As for cats... I owned an aggressive, biting cat. I don't think I could experience a worse cat. Without warning she attacked me and bit my hands, arms, and legs.. after medication with our vet she continued to live with us without incident until she passed from cancer in 2019. I love cats and would gladly check in on your cats and home while you are away: clean litter boxes, feed cats, play with them, etc. Kittens are welcome to stay at my home, but I feel adult cats would be more comfortable at their own home. I will no doubt treat your pet like my own furry family member. I can be home 99% of the time but whenever I do need to leave my husband works from home, so your pet will never be completely alone. I have a fenced in yard and live on a fairly quiet street. To ensure animals, including my own, don't get out, we typically only go through the garage so no risk of animals running out the front door.

“We left our dog Teddy in Bela’s care while we were gone for the day. We were lucky to have found Bela through Rover. She was great! She took him for multiple walks, fed him his dinner and sent us pictures of him, too! We had never left Teddy for the day so were a little nervous about how he would do since he has separation anxiety. We came home to a happy, content dog, which is what we had hoped for. About: I have lived in a dog household since I was five years old. I've had as many as four dogs under one roof, ranging from a Chihuahua-Terrier to an Irish Wolfhound. I have helped raise puppies, cared for senior dogs and administered medication such as pills and eye drops as needed. Throughout the years I have learned that every dog has a distinct personality and different needs based on their personality, likes and dislikes, age, ability, etc. I currently own a Cavalier King Charles who is a very needy soul, needs regular stimulation and suffers from dermatitis. When planning for the day I have to make sure that she can get at least one walk per day, preferably two, a few sessions of playtime and I have to wipe her off after being in the grass or exposed to anything that she might have a reaction to. I would love to come up with a plan to help your fur baby be happy and comfortable when you cannot be with them. Pet care is my focus and I am available during the week and most weekends. I will always keep my schedule updated to reflect my current availability. Whether it be a quick visit, a leisure walk or an extended play date, I believe an animals safety is just as important as our own. I will work with each client individually to come up with a plan for taking care of their fur babies to ensure that they get the most out of their time with me, but ensure that it is done in a safe and effective manner.
