About: Hi! I’m your pet’s new favorite human 🐾 I treat every fur baby like they’re my own—lots of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles (if they’re into that!). I’m super patient, reliable, and great at picking up on each pet’s unique personality and needs. I also have a background in childcare, working in multiple child care settings and holding a CDA (Child Development Associate), so I’m naturally nurturing, attentive, and big on routines and safety. Whether it’s a shy cat or an energetic pup, I make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine! I only work about 3 days a week from 9–5, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to give pets the attention they deserve. I provide personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, clean space with a fenced yard for playtime, plus lots of love and attention. I also have a friendly 3-year-old Shih Tzu who loves other animals and makes a great companion. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine
“Kellie did a great job taking care of our three kitties! Romeo (who never warms up to anyone) actually followed her around! She took photos each day and sent them to me as well. We will definitely use her services again in the future!”
About: I’m putting myself through college, so everything I make from Rover goes towards my tuition. I have had pets, especially dogs since I can remember as a kid. I’m in college right now and have over a year’s experience with a pet sitting company. I typically leave in the morning time, do a drop in visit in the afternoon, and then come back around dinner time to spend the evening and night with your furbaby. However, that schedule is highly adaptable to your pets specific needs. I’m well versed in many different animals, and am always willing to learn ones that I am not. I try to keep pets I sit as close to their typical routine as possible, and am constantly taking pictures to update their pawrents. Feel free to contact me and set up a meet & greet to see if I would be a good fit!

“JoAnna really went above and beyond to care for my dog when I suddenly needed to leave town for a weekend. She was flexible, communicative, and very easy to work with. I highly, highly recommend her!!”

About: From personal experience to professional experience, I am well-versed in caring for dogs and cats alike. My love for animals started with pet ownership since I was a child (I often brought home stray cats/dogs) and later grew into some of my fondest career opportunities. As an assistant working alongside very talented veterinarians at animal clinics for many years, plus my time as a dog walker and dog sitter, I have the skillset to provide above and beyond care for your fur-babies. I am comfortable administering medication and handling any special needs, as well as everyday duties. After recently deciding to leave my position as a flight attendant, which I did for 9 years, I am looking to get back into the pet-care space as my main focus. I have open availability. My roommates have dogs that I occasionally look after when they are away for a day trip or extended vacation. Since I currently do not have pets of my own, I am available to come to you!
About: I love fur babies of all sizes, ages, and breed’s!! I can’t remember a time that there wasn’t a dog or cat in my house, if not multiple. I unfortunately lost my previous precious babies within 2 months of each other almost 3 years ago due to their ailments. I adopted them when they were about the same age and that sadly led to them becoming old and sick together. I had 2 dogs, Pancho and Lulu, that had kidney disease along with chronic arthritis. Pancho also had vestibular and Lulu also had dementia. They were on prescription diets as well as medications and supplements that needed to be given at specific times. When Pancho would relapse with vestibular, he needed to be walked with a special harness which I am very grateful for and familiar with. Lulu’s age unfortunately got the best of her so I am also used to laser and acupuncture therapy as well as simply letting them know that it’s OK to potty inside or forget what they were doing. I can’t imagine what their minds are going through. I also had two cats, Miracle and Elvyra. Miracle was diabetic which involved a strict schedule of prescription feeding and medications, including insulin. Elvyra was in heart failure, had vestibular, and was asthmatic. She was also on a strict schedule of a prescription feeding along with oral and topical medications. I had to check her breathing everyday so I have an app (given to me by my vet) and am still very familiar with noticing signs of distress. I currently have an elder cat, Maggie, that has hyperthyroidism and arthritis. She started off as a foster, but when I learned about her ailments it seemed like it was meant to be that she stayed with me. She has progressed so much since being on the correct diet and medications. While I definitely spoil her, I couldn’t be happier that she’s succeeding the way she is. I also currently have an outside cat, Kitty. His mother unfortunately after caring for him his entire 18 years of life decided to move away and not take him with her. I took it upon myself to take care of him. While he didn’t like anyone before except his mother, which is completely understandable given his history, he has grown to love and trust me. It took several months and patience, but I am so very proud of the strength that he has to trust me after the heartbreak he just went through. I have my own fur babies, however I am very fortunate to have my wife care for ours so that I am able to love and care for yours as much as possible! I am very precise and particular with my babies so I understand wanting things done “your way”. Nothing can be more stressful than leaving your loved ones with someone else. Trust me, I get it.
About: Reliable and caring dog and cat lover with experience caring for my own pets and pets of all sizes and personalities. I offer walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and boarding in a calm, safe environment. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, beach outings, local trails, or simply companionship at home, I provide attentive care and regular photo updates so you can feel confident while you're away. I work from home part-time, which means I provide attentive supervision and always have plenty of time to play with your pups throughout the day! Your dog will never be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. I'm available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits. I have a fenced in spacious yard, plenty of space at home to cool down. I have an indoor cat. I can easily crate your dog if needed. For those that love water I set up a kiddy pool in the back yard.
“Taylor is a super start! She is super accommodating and flexible and was willing to work with my schedule very last minute. She cared for my 2 dogs with ease and they can be a handful! We will definitely be booking with Taylor again! Thanks Taylor!”

“Deborah was an amazing pet sitter! I had a last minute trip out of town come up and she was very flexible to get a meet and greet setup before I had to leave. She was very communicative throughout the process and sent me pictures! She even watered my plants! Highly recommend!”

“Liana did a WONDERFUL job with my kitties. They loved her and she took really good care of them. She is very responsible, reliable, and communicated with me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend and will be rebooking the next time my kitties need a sitter.”

Anna was incredible with Maggie. I am so happy to have Anna to take care of my precious baby! Anna was very affectionate and caring with Maggie. I can’t express how wonderful Anna is with my fur baby. I will definitely be using her again! Thank you Anna. I was so apprehensive as I had never left Maggie with anyone. But you followed directions and provided Maggie with the love and affection she needs. Thank you again.

Tested our first overnight away and per usual Lori was amazing and extremely patient with our newest rescue who is extremely high stress around other people in our home. Thank you for taking such good care of our babies. We’re so thankful for your knowledge and willingness to continue working within us. 💜

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
