New to Rover-not new to loving dogs
I’ve had dogs my entire life (malteses, dobermans, huskies, puppies, seniors, etc.), and they truly are the light of my life :) Caring for them has always come naturally to me, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I joined Rover because I work from home and have the flexibility to take multiple long walks throughout the day. I’d love to use that time to give your dog extra attention, exercise, and care when you’re not able to. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m happy to tailor each walk to their needs. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for every time we’re together.

I always tailor my care to each pet’s specific needs and routine. I know how important consistency is, so I follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any special care. For walks and drop-ins, I make sure your dog gets the right balance of exercise, attention, and safety. I’m attentive to their behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I always prioritize secure handling and a safe environment. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with respect and aim to keep everything as close to your normal routine as possible so your pet feels comfortable and stress-free. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Taylor was on time and communicated clearly. She took our pup to Brewhound instead of a walk and it was much appreciated!
Taylor watches our dog Noodle every once in a while and she is great. My only complaint is that when I get back, I feel like Noodle wants to stay with her versus come home with me. Taylor gives her much more exercise than I do and plays with Noodle a lot more than I do as well.

Zeitplan
Because I flexibly work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I already take multiple walks throughout the day, so incorporating dog walks or just general dog-visits/dog care is something I genuinely enjoy and can consistently prioritize. My schedule is quite flexible, which allows me to be available during typical workday hours when many people need help the most. I’m able to give dogs regular exercise, attention, and breaks throughout the day rather than rushing through a quick visit. While walking is my primary focus, I’m also open to pet sitting when needed.
