About: I have had my own dogs and cats my whole life and currently have one dog and one cat. I worked at an animal shelter through high school with all kinds of dogs and cats and am comfortable with pretty much anything they can throw at me. Sometimes accidents happen and it’s ok and sometimes they get scared when new people are around which is totally understandable. I’m very comfortable being patient with any animal who needs a little extra love and understanding. I am currently a full time student and usually my day is pretty open on any day I don’t have class and in between my classes. I have two pets of my own who I get up early to take care of before class and always make sure I’m home to take care of after class. Weekends that I’m not visiting family are usually completely free as well. In a client’s home, the most important thing for any nervous pet will be respecting boundaries. I have a nervous girl dog and girl cat so I totally understand when they are a little hesitant to new people. But if they are sociable and want plenty of love I can absolutely give that too. I am very good at reading their body language and actions to determine what they want or need in the moment and will absolutely respect that their space if they want that.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a teenager! I have ample experience with caring for senior dogs, giving walks, feeding, outdoor play, bathing, and nail clipping. I absolutely love all dogs, and I have experience with caring for big and small dogs alike! I am a graduate student at the University of Florida, so I have flexibility with my days to check in on your pets! I am open to visiting your home to care for your pet or bringing your pet into my own home to care for them! I do not travel much, so I largely have an open schedule. I will happily send you photos of your pets daily! I live in an apartment complex with ample courtyard space for dogs to walk and play. There is also a nearby dog park to take any dogs that I care for. I also have a lovely fenced in back porch that I often let my cat sit outside on. I am willing to visit and/or stay in your home with your animals as well! I will follow all instructions that you leave me, and I will ensure the safety of your pets while they are in my care.

About: I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I’ve raised my own chocolate lab the past 9 years as well as having dogs my whole life back home. I am a graduate student in Gainesville with very flexible class schedule at the end of week and have weekends free! I’m home a lot outside of class time. I live in an apartment complex by myself with the company of my chocolate lab to keep your pup entertained! We go on many walks and to the dog park to get all the energy out.

About: Hi!! My name is Joanna, but everyone calls me Jo. I have been around all sorts of animals my entire life and greatly believe in building a bond with each pet. I currently have four pets of my own, including two cats, one dog, and a leopard gecko. I have over 5 years of experience in pet care, where my responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, enrichment, and administering medications as needed. I have cared for various breeds, including cats, dogs, reptiles, and small mammals, always ensuring each pet's unique needs are met. I am always open to pet-sitting for any breed or species :) As a pet owner and caregiver, I have experience in caring for senior dogs and those with special needs. I have experience in administering medications, managing dietary restrictions, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and helping them feel confident and at ease in their environments. I have experience fostering several animals, from semi-feral kittens to a pitbull-staffy mix that was heartworm positive (and a foster fail). I worked through the process of humanely trapping them, spaying/neutering, socializing, and then re-homing them. The most rewarding part of the process was seeing the animals show their true personalities and being able to make an impact on their lives, even if only for a short time. I strongly believe that patience, understanding, and holding an open mind to each animal's needs is the most important part of caring for them. I love matching their energies, whether that be cuddling and couch-time, or running around the yard in the sun. (i.e., cleaning litterboxes, washing bowls, baths, etc.) I am currently in college, but I am taking online classes so I am able to work from anywhere. I have an open schedule, which is flexible to fit the needs of your furbabies. I am open to taking late requests and strive to be convenient for your schedule. I spend a lot of my day caring for my own furbabies. I have a senior cat, Stacy, who loves cuddles and naptime, as well as an orange boy named Maroon, who spends his days climbing, playing, and occasionally going on leash walks. The newest addition to my family is Squirrel, a two-year-old pitbull-staffy mix, whom I spent the last 2 months fostering amidst a heartworm diagnosis and treatment. I love practicing force-free training, going on hikes, and then joining him for cuddles on the couch. I also have a four-year-old Leopard Gecko named Luz. She is the smallest pet but has the largest personality. I enjoy handling her, educating myself on proper care, providing enrichment, and adapting to her unique needs. Pet care and maintenance are already a daily part of my routine. While watching others' furbabies, I pride myself on respect, understanding, and adapting to needs. I strive to ensure that your pet is safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I love sending updates, asking questions, and taking lots of funny photos.

About: I have had dogs most of my life that I helped take care. I ended up getting my own dog when I moved. I have my own place and love to have dogs stay while their parents are away. I work at Shands in the emergency room but have enough space for a safe pen when I’m away. I have a small dog park in my complex that I take my dogs to in the evening. About: My entire life I’ve lived and cared for dogs in all shapes in sizes. From stubby Corgis to big, fluffy Bernese mountain dogs, or my wonderful pack of Australian cattle dogs back home. I was the one largely responsible for the care of my family’s elderly Berner, Diogi (pronounced D-O-G) in his final years of life. I’ve fostered and raised several new born puppies of varying temperament and seen them off to loving families, but I’m most proud of the unbreakable bond I’ve formed with who I would call my “soul-dog”, Winnie, my red Australian cattle dog whom I love more dearly than anything. Unfortunately she had to stay behind when I moved to Gainesville for college, but I get to see her often enough. I work on the side at Chick-fil-a as well as attend school full time. Despite this, my schedule is flexible and I have days throughout the week I am 100% free for anything. My regular school days see me out before 1PM. When I do work, I typically go in early afternoon (~2PM) and leave around 8-10PM. I live in an apartment complex which has several grassy areas to use the bathroom and get some sniffs in.. Nearby there are several nature trails as well as quite a few dog parks within walking distance. I do own a car which I am willing to use to drive to other locations for longer walks/new environments.

About: I grew up on a farm and still do. I’ve only started dogging sitting/ boarding dogs other than my family’s dogs for a few years now. I’ve noticed that the dogs, I’ve take care of are really comfortable with me, while their owners are away. My goal every time, I’m taking care of new dog is that they feel safe with me. I’m also a part-time nanny right now, my schedule is flexible, so it’s just communicating a day and time that works for both of us! I don’t usually crate dogs, that’s more on the owner’s preference and what their comfortable with. There are 5 other dogs on the property that my family own. They have their own enclosure outside and I don’t allow the dogs I’m taking care of to see or interact with them as I’m trying to keep a safe environment for all animals.
