About: I have taken care of cats for the past 5 years, and many friends have trusted me to take care of theirs, as well. One of my cats, Dwight (yes, from The Office), became obstructed about a year ago, and because I paid such close attention to all of my animals' bathroom habits, I was able to get him to the emergency vet before it became a "true" emergency. I have caught every single ailment in a timely manner since, and all of my cats are happy and healthy. I have had to give medication, and definitely know how to deep clean a litter box. I rescued 3 out of my 5 cats at around 4 weeks of age, so I also have experience in kitten-care and nursing them back to health.

This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: I did a lot of pet sitting in my neighborhood when I was in middle and high school which involved watching and walking several dogs as well as cats and even some ferrets. Since working in healthcare for the past 5 years, my love for taking care of others (including their pets) has grown immensely. I promise to care for and love your pet as my own. I currently work 2 part-time jobs but the total hours per week can range from 10-30 so I tend to have a good amount of free time. There is only about 3-5 days per month that I am unavailable the entire day. I live in a community with plenty of trails and dog runs. I am within walking distance of several parks including picnic island. I truly enjoy walking animals even in the Florida heat so I always make sure to bring plenty of water, toys, and a towel for resting. I’ve trained my cats to go on walks with me so I have also learned how to sense most pets’ needs.

About: I grew up on a farm and still do. I’ve only started dogging sitting/ boarding dogs other than my family’s dogs for a few years now. I’ve noticed that the dogs, I’ve take care of are really comfortable with me, while their owners are away. My goal every time, I’m taking care of new dog is that they feel safe with me. I’m also a part-time nanny right now, my schedule is flexible, so it’s just communicating a day and time that works for both of us! I don’t usually crate dogs, that’s more on the owner’s preference and what their comfortable with. There are 5 other dogs on the property that my family own. They have their own enclosure outside and I don’t allow the dogs I’m taking care of to see or interact with them as I’m trying to keep a safe environment for all animals.
