Hi there! I’m a devoted pet sitter and trainer-in-training, passionate about helping animals feel safe, understood, and happy. While I work toward my CPDT certification in dog training, I bring that same thoughtful, compassionate approach to every pet I care for, dogs and cats included! I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs. From shy kitties and anxious pups to energetic goofballs and senior sweethearts, I’m here to meet them where they’re at, with patience, consistency, and plenty of love. A bit about my experience: - I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to American Mastiffs - I have hands-on experience with puppies, seniors, blind dogs, and those recovering from injury - I’ve administered oral meds, changed diapers, cleaned up messes (no problem!), and even managed diabetic care (including insulin) for cats - I’m comfortable juggling complex routines and multi-pet households I always take the time to understand your pet’s routine, quirks, and favorite activities, and I really appreciate detailed notes from owners! Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn off energy or your cat prefers quiet companionship, I’ll adapt my care to what makes them feel secure and happy. Above all, I’m calm, respectful, and never rush the bonding process. I want your pets to feel at ease, and for you to feel confident that they’re in kind, capable hands. Safety, trust & environment
I’m always mindful of safety when entering and leaving a pet’s home, especially with pets who might try to slip out the door. I take care to secure gates and doors, and always double-check that everything is locked before I leave.

Friederike is truly the best pet sitter in Gainesville! I am always confident she is taking amazing care of my cats and they truly love her immensely (to the point they seem excited when I pull out my suitcases cause they know she is going to come by). Highly, highly recommend!
This was my second time having Friederike walk my dog while I was away and cannot recommend her enough. She creates a cute little photo packet of the walk and leaves a detailed note about the visit. I can see how happy Skye is and I know I can be at ease while I am on vacation.
Friederike did an amazing job with my cat Nova again! She made sure to send daily updates and photos during her drop in visits. Nova had a great time while I was away and Friederike kept up with all of her needs

Schedule
Besides my own two fur babies, I’m also a mom to two toddlers (ages 2 and 4), so my availability is somewhat limited. I'm typically available on weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM, and again after 8:30 PM. Weekends tend to be busy, but feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to check if I can fit something in! I’m quick to respond to requests and always open to scheduling a meet-and-greet before a stay or walk. While caring for your pet, you can expect detailed updates and plenty of pictures. I know how much it matters to stay connected when you're away from your furry companion.
