“Had to leave for a week up north, and unfortunately couldn’t take my fur baby with me so I found this app and the first person I looked at was jasmine. I’m glad I did!!! Jasmine is awesome, friendly, and exceeded all my expectations. Jasmine took care of my fur baby like she was her own, and I love that. Will be using her again :)”

“Will rebook. Katrina was excellent. She took care of my Rottweiler Neena for a week and did a wonderful job. She maintained communication, and sent me several pictures throughout the week.”

I have a senior dog who requires eye drops and a special diet. In addition my youngster dachshund has completed puppy training, house training and socialization. She loves to play, if you have a puppy, my home is puppy proof and I will help you work on housebreaking. I have a large home with a fenced yard. I have two well socialized and pet friendly dogs. A 15 year old Corgi and an 18 month old mini dachshund. My dogs are crate trained. Visiting dogs can be crate trained or free to roam the house. On furniture is fine, but I will adhere to your rules. I do not allow dogs in my bed.
“We had a wonderful pet-sitting experience with Nelieze! Our dog, Lulu, was exceptionally well cared for and loved while we were away. Nelieze was amazing—kind, reliable, accommodating, and attentive to Lulu’s needs. She kept us updated and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our furry family member was in great hands. We picked up a happy, well-cared-for pup. We highly recommend Nelieze to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: I have had pets most of my life. As a child a cocker spaniel named Winston. Then a golden retriever named Honey. Fish, hermit crabs, etc. I live on 1.5 acres in the swamp on Lake Rousseau it is spacious and beautiful. I would love to care for dogs part time and enjoy them and also my 5 kids I have half time would also give lots of love. I work from home managing AirBNB’s so am available all the time basically and not stuck to a computer. I can give the dogs plenty of love and time to run and play outside. Able to pick up and drop off for an extra fee Able to bathe for an extra fee Look forward to being a dog dad to your little ones soon :) I am home almost all of the time. I raise 5 kids week on and half and my business is remote and low input. I have time to care for a dog or two with a lot of intention. I would also enjoy the company. They are welcome inside my home and out. If outside I would accompany them so I can keep an eye on them but they have plenty of room to roam and lots of smells in nature. I could take on walks as needed but I have a lot of space for them to run and throw a ball too.

“This was a wonderful experience for me and my dog! This is the sitter I have been looking for! Caring, loving, dependable, and very good at keeping me up to date as to my doggie's vacay while I was away! Great!!!”

“Wonderful experience. Molly was great with our little Layla. Layla had a great time and you could tell she had a blast during her stay. I would definitely come to Molly again.”

“Faniza took great care of our two year old whippet while we were out of town for three days! She replied quickly, greeted us at 0700 and communicated thoroughly throughout the length of the stay with texts, photos and videos. I would definitely take our dog to stay with her again.”

About: I'm incredibly patient with all animals. I'm an experienced pet owner, from large to small dogs to pigs (yes, I have owed a potbellied pig for 11 years and it's been super fun). I started a "Let the Little Dogs" health initiative, with the help of my family, to get people outside with their pets, big or small, to walk to better health. I'm home full time and can be available whenever for your pets' needs, whether that's an additional walk or boarding. Safety is always paramount always. I live in a gated community with sidewalks, but am within short distance of trails and parks. My yard is fully fenced in for quick potty breaks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
