“Amelia is the best! I had to leave town for a friend's wedding so I needed someone to sit Archer for the weekend. Amelia kept him for 3 days and I don't think he could have been happier during his stay. Over the weekend, Amelia sent me several pics of Archer enjoying Amelia's large fenced in yard, playing with Amelia's very sweet dogs which he loved, and taking leased walks are the neighborhood. When I picked him up Sunday he was definitely one happy pup! I will for sure be using her wonderful services in the future.”

“This was the 1st time using rover.com and we were a little hesitant at first, Not anymore. Kelly was great with our 70lb lab mix named CC. We went on a 5 day vacation. She sent us a daily updates with pictures. She took her for many walks a day. She treated her like her own. Usually when we pick up CC at the kennel she can’t wait to go, but when we picked her up a Kelly’s, she was in no big rush to leave. She even gave Kelly kisses when we left. About: I have raised and bred dogs with my Grandfather since I was 5 years old. I bred Farm, Hunting, Shepherd, Working & AKC Show Breeds Ranging from Huskies, to Collies and Shelties, to Coon Hounds, Weimaraners, Bird Dogs like Spaniels. I have also owned a Show boarding and grooming Kennel for the last decade and a half up until shutting it down during the Pandemic to have more time to myself to travel and do things. I do still have a passion for caring for animals and do enjoy taking them in, taking them on my daily walks/hikes with me, showering them in attention, and helping owners in need. I am Retired I am physically active. I enjoy walking, hiking, exercise, and being out doors which especially helps with dogs that are rambunctious and have a lot of energy which needs to be burnt off throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with individually fenced off runs. I also have a Kennel Building I am renovating and will be adding new indoor/outdoor kennels to as the old ones were over 25 years old and in need or replacement. For taking in extended stay pets that are used to being kept outdoors or are crate/cage trained. As far as in the home it is client by client based. I consult with the pets owners. I try to keep the experience as stress free for the pet as possible. If they are allowed on the furniture and in bed at home nothing changes when they stay with me. If they are crate trained I try to maintain their home training regiment and play/feeding, potty/sleep routine as much as possible.
