“We were evacuated from hurricane Mathew from the Melbourne area. I took my dogs with me. Well, after Mathew passed I had a wedding to go to that I could not bring the dogs too on the west oast of Florida. I found Nola on this sight, Rover.com. With out knowing her at all, she responded and took in my dogs within two hours. I was in a slight state of panic. After meeting her and her husband, I was so happy and relieved. SHe sent me pictures of the dogs having fun throughout their stay. Nola and her husband are Godsends and anytime I go to the west coast with the dogs, my dogs are staying with her. Nice fenced in yard, other dogs to play with......My dogs were relaxed and happy when I picked them up. I was very, very pleased and I absolutely recommend Nola if you need a dog sitter.”

About: I have had pets most of my life. As a child a cocker spaniel named Winston. Then a golden retriever named Honey. Fish, hermit crabs, etc. I live on 1.5 acres in the swamp on Lake Rousseau it is spacious and beautiful. I would love to care for dogs part time and enjoy them and also my 5 kids I have half time would also give lots of love. I work from home managing AirBNB’s so am available all the time basically and not stuck to a computer. I can give the dogs plenty of love and time to run and play outside. Able to pick up and drop off for an extra fee Able to bathe for an extra fee Look forward to being a dog dad to your little ones soon :) I am home almost all of the time. I raise 5 kids week on and half and my business is remote and low input. I have time to care for a dog or two with a lot of intention. I would also enjoy the company. They are welcome inside my home and out. If outside I would accompany them so I can keep an eye on them but they have plenty of room to roam and lots of smells in nature. I could take on walks as needed but I have a lot of space for them to run and throw a ball too.

I’ve raised my dog Zoso since I was 14 when she was a puppy, she recently passed away at 17 years old so having other dogs around makes me so happy. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am an expert on giving medication too from having a senior dog for many years!
