“Breezy came in clutch when we had to make an impromptu business trip at the last minute. They always take time to hang out with our pup and take them for a nice long walk. Our doggo loves them and we appreciate how quickly they respond to walking requests and how kind they are to our pup.”

“Courtney is an angel! A true animal lover and caregiver for my boy Clifford. She is a great communicator. Stays in touch during the visit and she gives greatly detailed end of visit reports with great photos. I feel so comfortable and know my babyboy is safe in her hands. Absolutely my top choice to take care of my dog.”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies to senior dogs with health problems that may need more attention. To cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents ect I love them all equally. I’m a part time student working a part time job, afternoons and evenings work the best for me, though some mornings I’m available to work My pets get regular baths and frequent walks, along-with healthy food with an overwhelming amount of love. Matched with playtime with their toys and cuddles!
“Taylor did a great job and I would definitely have her care for my dog again. Good communication, very professional. She seemed good at establishing rapport with my dog.”

“Jamie & Debra were amazing helping with my dog while I was away. I'll definitely be leaning on them again. Thanks again guys. Always on time and my pup just loved them.”

“We would like to start by saying that she is really a ROCKSTAR here on Rover APP. We found Sonia almost by the last minute and we are so happy that we found her. On the meet and greet we were already really impressed with the good energy that she brings, and our dogs loved her at the first sight. SPOIL ALERT: She works on Animal Clinic and has rescued a few dogs to her own, but she can tell you more about it. Sonia showed up on time, gave our dogs all the attention they needed, sent us a lot of pictures, and give us the report we needed to feel comfortable while we were not there. And also our dogs smelled SO GOOD when we got back home, we are still trying to figure out what happened here for our dogs to smell so good. LOL We are really glad that we found Sonia and we wish to keep her as our dog sitter for as long she be will be willing to.”

About: Hello, my name is Tawatha and I am 24. When i was in high school i was in FFA and dealt with farm animals for 3 out of the four years i was there, i worked at an animal shelter for 6 months and I have many pets, 2 dogs 2 cats, a ferret and 5 chickens. I love all animals. I also have experience giving medication to animals as well. I wouldn't say theres anything that sets me apart from other people but I do genuinely love being around animals and I love helping people out. From walking to playing to washing and feeding, I will do it all. I believe that's all I have to say. Thank you for taking time to read about me ! Ciao! I work full time for a general practice veterinary hospital so pet care is a constant in my life. It makes me happy to help furbabies. Im off work Friday-Sunday. I follow instructions on special needs/senior pets. I try to make things enjoyable for the babies. I do have about 4 years of professional dog handling and am prepared for most things.
“Great communication and sent pictures. It was bad weather and she handled my sr dog appropriately. Was in great communication with me on both walks. I will definitely use her again when I’m in JAX. Thank you Christi!”
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 5 years old. I have grown up with 2 cats and a very very very hyper puppy!! I have lots of experience from taking care of them, to taking care of other families animals as well. I attend online grad school! I have the privilege to set my schedule for the day and week, resulting in flexibility throughout with times and availability! I will treat them like my own. Satisfy their needs by cuddling with them, taking them for car rides and walks. Not only that, I will give all my attention to them, give them lots of treats and would love for them to sleep with me if I sleep over!
About: I care about them as if they were my own. They don't live as long as humans so they deserve the best life we can give them while they're here. The only experience and knowledge I have of dogs and cats is what I've learned on my own with my pets throughout my life. I don't have a job so my availability is mostly flexible. Looking for extra money, I don't have any special skills I just need extra money and love dogs and cats. The only thing I can think of that puts me apart from other services/sitters is the desire and drive to complete any task, besides my love for pets, I have a great work ethic that helps me be motivated to ensure every step was taken in completing a task. Money is also a great motivator but isn't the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life", that's a great interpretation of my work ethic. I'm currently unemployed. I usually have availability on Saturday, and Sunday. If I am available during the weekend I will update my schedule, otherwise that's my availability. I cannot offer boarding in my home because I live in an apartment where each pet in my home needs to be paid for and accounted for by my apartment management but I will treat your animals and living spaces like royalty and respect all responsibilities asked of me while I care for your pets in your home.

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Patient, dependable, and attentive. I even taught my cat to sit and spin using positive reinforcement! I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and accommodate your pet’s routine, including walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins if needed! I will follow your pet’s routine, provide fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love while keeping your home clean and respected.
About: Trusted Veteran and now SAHM. I've taken care of my own and several family/friends animals in their absence. I love animals of all shapes and sizes🩷 I'm currently a stay at home mom looking to add a couple pets to our daily routine with either dog walks or drop in visits. Your pets will be taken care of like they are my own. They will be treated with the upmost care to ensure your furbabies stay happy and safe.
About: I am a former dog owner and lover who sadly lost her fur baby Dexter to an illness. I love and value animal life and care. Pets deserve love and attention and someone with the energy to give it to them when mommy and daddy are busy doing life or just tired from a long day of work! I have 4+ years experience caring for dogs including a dog with moderate to severe seizures. I have experience administering medication and calming nervous dogs. What sets me a part is that I am a stay at home mom which means your pet is not competing with any other work stresses and will get the love, care, and attention needed! I know how it is to have the fear of leaving your pet in the care of someone else. Will they ignore him? Feed him? Play with him? Take him out to use the restroom? Snuggle him? Lose their patience with him? I know the feeling! Your baby will be my baby while under my care. Go to work or get away with peace of mind knowing your pet is safe!
“Jasmine is absolutely wonderful with walking /taking care of our dog there’s never any problems with our dog when she’s taking care of him we absolutely trust her and will keep on using her when we need her !!!”

About: I have had pets since I was 10, Dogs and cats primarily but also have had horses, chickens, rabbits, and I have volunteered with cat shelters on and off for the last several years. My daughters will be with me for walks and drop ins so please be aware of this and let us know if your animal does not do well with kids and I will arrange for no children to be with me! Thank you. Naomi is a stay at home mom and Coy works during the day and we were looking for something we could do as a family in the afternoon and evening time that we both enjoy! For walk clients we will walk and give lots of love to your pet and for drop ins we will give food, let your pet out or clean cat boxes, if your pet left a mess at all it will be cleaned and you will be notified and of course, if your pet allows, lots of love!
About: I’m the primary sitter for cats, dogs, and small pets, providing loving, reliable care. When I’m unavailable for the dates requested, my mom can step in to help if she is, so your pets are never without attention. I’ve cared for cats of all ages, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, fish, horses, and more. Comfortable with kittens, seniors, special diets, and daily medications — your pets are in good hands! Right now, after 2pm works the best for me. If your hours are flexible, then I can be there. I will try my best to stick to the schedule asked for, and I’ll always let you know before booking if any of the days are ones I’ll need to arrive early or late. I would be more than happy to send picture updates! This is something I know I’d want very much. And I’d treat them as if they were my own baby. Give them time to warm up to me. Sit nearby until they are used to me, and once they are, I'll provide all the pets and snuggles they want! I know playtime is very important in a daily routine, so I’d make sure to play with them using their favorite toys. I am looking forward to meeting any new kitty and dog friends! Just know that I believe in clear communication and will provide updates to ensure that you can be completely comfortable knowing that your pets are safe and happy while you are away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
