Breezy came in clutch when we had to make an impromptu business trip at the last minute. They always take time to hang out with our pup and take them for a nice long walk. Our doggo loves them and we appreciate how quickly they respond to walking requests and how kind they are to our pup.

Haley was absolutely wonderful! She was punctual, friendly, trustworthy, and kind to my dog. She always took him for the full amount of walk time and was great about letting me know if he went to the bathroom. I would highly recommend her!

About: Animal care for years!! Working at an animal shelter, as an animal control officer and as a vet assistant. Super passionate and comfortable working with and caring for all kinds of domestic pets. My schedule is a bit flexible. Especially on weekends so I am able to walk, hang out and play with furry friends! Can stop in a couple of times a day during the week. I can either walk the dogs or let them play in the yard, whichever you prefer. Hang out with and spend time with them indoors or out.

About: I care about them as if they were my own. They don't live as long as humans so they deserve the best life we can give them while they're here. The only experience and knowledge I have of dogs and cats is what I've learned on my own with my pets throughout my life. I don't have a job so my availability is mostly flexible. Looking for extra money, I don't have any special skills I just need extra money and love dogs and cats. The only thing I can think of that puts me apart from other services/sitters is the desire and drive to complete any task, besides my love for pets, I have a great work ethic that helps me be motivated to ensure every step was taken in completing a task. Money is also a great motivator but isn't the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life", that's a great interpretation of my work ethic. I'm currently unemployed. I usually have availability on Saturday, and Sunday. If I am available during the weekend I will update my schedule, otherwise that's my availability. I cannot offer boarding in my home because I live in an apartment where each pet in my home needs to be paid for and accounted for by my apartment management but I will treat your animals and living spaces like royalty and respect all responsibilities asked of me while I care for your pets in your home.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a small child, and I have dog sat since I was a teenager. I love spending time with dogs while their owners are living life! I currently work part time from home, so I’m looking for extra “work” in my free time! My schedule is flexible as of now! I treat pets like small babies. Show them the love and attention they need while setting the necessary safety boundaries. I want your pets to feel as comfortable with me as they would with you!

About: I am a former dog owner and lover who sadly lost her fur baby Dexter to an illness. I love and value animal life and care. Pets deserve love and attention and someone with the energy to give it to them when mommy and daddy are busy doing life or just tired from a long day of work! I have 4+ years experience caring for dogs including a dog with moderate to severe seizures. I have experience administering medication and calming nervous dogs. What sets me a part is that I am a stay at home mom which means your pet is not competing with any other work stresses and will get the love, care, and attention needed! I know how it is to have the fear of leaving your pet in the care of someone else. Will they ignore him? Feed him? Play with him? Take him out to use the restroom? Snuggle him? Lose their patience with him? I know the feeling! Your baby will be my baby while under my care. Go to work or get away with peace of mind knowing your pet is safe!

When i was in high school i was in FFA and dealt with farm animals for 3 out of the four years i was there, i worked at an animal shelter for 6 months and I have many pets, 2 dogs 2 cats, a ferret and 5 chickens. I love all animals. I also have experience giving medication to animals as well. From walking to playing to washing and feeding, I will do it all. I believe that's all I have to say. Thank you for taking time to read about me ! Ciao! I work full time for a general practice veterinary hospital so pet care is a constant in my life. It makes me happy to help furbabies. Im off work Friday-Sunday. About: I’ve taken care of pets since the age of 3, growing up as a dog owner with a couple cats at a time, as well. I love written instructions and schedules to follow for feeding and potty time and am attentive to detail. I can send photo and video updates as often as requested. I’m currently working part time with some flexibility built in to help fur baby parents with pet care. Let’s come up with a schedule that meets your needs! I can offer overnight stays if needed and extra time spent with pets on top of feedings, walks, treats, and toilet times. The more details you provide about what you need, the better. I’ll keep things tidy for your return, too.

We would like to start by saying that she is really a ROCKSTAR here on Rover APP. We found Sonia almost by the last minute and we are so happy that we found her. On the meet and greet we were already really impressed with the good energy that she brings, and our dogs loved her at the first sight. SPOIL ALERT: She works on Animal Clinic and has rescued a few dogs to her own, but she can tell you more about it. Sonia showed up on time, gave our dogs all the attention they needed, sent us a lot of pictures, and give us the report we needed to feel comfortable while we were not there. And also our dogs smelled SO GOOD when we got back home, we are still trying to figure out what happened here for our dogs to smell so good. LOL We are really glad that we found Sonia and we wish to keep her as our dog sitter for as long she be will be willing to.

  • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
