“Sophia has been an excellent choice for me and Lucy. You can tell she loves dogs in how she talks to Lucy and rubs and scratches her. She comes on time and takes the full half hour and stays even longer to talk to her and me and rub her. She is very pleasant to talk to, smiles alot and basically a very caring, pleasant, soft spoken person. You can't find someone to love and walk your pet better than this. Thank you Rover for finding Sophia for Lucy and Me. Sincerely, Michael Roth”

“She did an amazing job Khan loved her has soon as she walked into the door she is definitely an animal person thank you I will be a repeat customer and I will recommend Ashley to all my family and friends.”

“Jessica took great care of our dogs while we were out! She was prompt with the times we requested, sent pictures, and gave them lots of pets and attention. We truly appreciated her assistance.”

“Where to start... I've been contemplating a dog walker for almost the year, I finally got on some sites and started looking around. Katie came up and I immediately liked what I read. As a first timer I was a little confused on how everything worked, Katie walked me right through it, which was a blessing. She was very kind and flexible with her time, as originally I wanted more days and ended up not needing them. We had our meet and greet. My girl loved her! So we went ahead and booked the walks. I cannot even tell you how well it went, she was on top of it, sent me pictures, and told me how Sadie was just doing every step of the way. We have plans to continue using Katie weekly, if you need a little help taking care of your babies, I highly suggest using Katie!”

About: Hi there! My name is Zach. Recently moved to the Citrus County area! As a kid I grew up with a hyper-active Labrador that was always on the move, but I now have a cuddly American Staffordshire Terrier who's a little clumsy at times! Despite being a bit of a gamer I do like going to the gym and staying active, perhaps your pets can help with that?! Due to the recent pandemic my schedule is relatively open and flexible for the time being! If you have any questions about me or the services I offer feel free to ask at any time, I would be more than happy to talk! I look forward to becoming your pets next best friend! Thanks for choosing me!
About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I've had dogs to horses. I love them as family just like I love my own children. I'm retired so I have plenty of time to put myself into a job in which I would love. I know I would love your animals as much I love mine. My dogs are very spoiled and very well taken care of and loved by all of my family. So I will show your pets the same love and care as I show my own
About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. I live in a dog friendly park that has a nice trail and isn't very crowded

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
