Where to start... I've been contemplating a dog walker for almost the year, I finally got on some sites and started looking around. Katie came up and I immediately liked what I read. As a first timer I was a little confused on how everything worked, Katie walked me right through it, which was a blessing. She was very kind and flexible with her time, as originally I wanted more days and ended up not needing them. We had our meet and greet. My girl loved her! So we went ahead and booked the walks. I cannot even tell you how well it went, she was on top of it, sent me pictures, and told me how Sadie was just doing every step of the way. We have plans to continue using Katie weekly, if you need a little help taking care of your babies, I highly suggest using Katie!

Breezy came in clutch when we had to make an impromptu business trip at the last minute. They always take time to hang out with our pup and take them for a nice long walk. Our doggo loves them and we appreciate how quickly they respond to walking requests and how kind they are to our pup.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. I live in a dog friendly park that has a nice trail and isn't very crowded

I’m a part time student working a part time job, afternoons and evenings work the best for me, though some mornings I’m available to work My pets get regular baths and frequent walks, along-with healthy food with an overwhelming amount of love. Matched with playtime with their toys and cuddles!

About: For 2 years I’ve took care of my neighbors dogs by letting them out, feeding them and playing with them. I love animals and I grew up in a household filled with animals. I believe a dog is a humans best friend and I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your animal! I currently work nights at publix as a grocery stock clerk. I am very flexible and will be able to let your animals out and care for them whenever you need. I would love your trust to take care of them. I take my dog milo for a walk everyday when I get home so that way he gets most of his energy out and then he will lay down and relax for a little bit before wanting to play. I feed him twice a day and give him a bath once a week.

About: I've been an enthusiastic lover of all sorts of animals. From the cute and cuddly dogs or cats to the sometimes considered less appealing reptiles and amphibians. I always have had a great low-key type of energy that some more anxious or skittish animals tend to be more receptive to. It helps im very patient and attentive to an animals needs. I, myself have owned Dogs, cats, small mammals and rodents, reptiles, and fish. I am very accommodating to any special care or attention a pet may need. Ive been pet sitting off and on since I was a teenager and have never encountered an animal I wasnt able to care for responsibly and exceed expectations. I can look after larger dogs (100lbs+) as I am 6' with the strength to walk and play with them. I grew up with a 100lb German Shepard and owned a 100lb Rottweiler mix. No pet will deter me. On the flip side I also enjoy smaller dogs that want to be held and/or carried. As I've mentioned I'm an all around animal lover. I generally work 4p to midnight. With that said I have pretty good flexibility and can usually work from home. I ensure pets nourishment and care are well met. I treat the clients home with absolute respect, very tidy and maintain the home as if it were my own. Cleaning up after myself and leaving it in the best condition possible. Making sure the pets area is tidy after eating or playing, cleaning up any messes they may create.

I currently work part-time but am always looking to go visit furry friends before and after work. If I have a day off I would love to take care of your pets. I will always make sure that all your requests are met. If you are out and about I will send you photo updates of your furry friends.

About: Taking care of animals has always been a passion of mine. From lizards to birds to dogs and cats you name it, I love each and every one. I work as a veterinary technician at my local animal hospital and enjoy every second of it. I work full time with Tuesdays and every other Saturday off. I’m passionate about keeping pets happy and healthy. While working here I have gained lots of experience and knowledge of multiple breeds, ages and sizes. I’m able to administer medications if needed, take care of seniors, or take care of dogs/cats with any disabilities. While I’m taking care of your pets you’ll never have to worry, I will treat them and love them like my own! I always make sure to update pet parents and send lots of pictures! I’ve been told I would be a great pet photographer😉. Check out my photos in my profile! I will always do my best to accommodate any needs and schedules. I would love to be able to care for your pets!💕 I work part time, I have Tuesdays, Thrusdays, and weekends off! If your pet stays with me during the week I can come home for lunch and take care of them. In the morning I make sure everyone gets their exercise and breakfast. After work we get lots of love and more play time and then dinner! I live on about 3 acres and have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run and play! I always have an eye on my fur babies and never let them out of my site!

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
