About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. I live in a dog friendly park that has a nice trail and isn't very crowded

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I work at a dog boarding kennel currently and have worked at the animal shelter where I cared for all of the strays and helped them try to find new homes and reunited lost pets with their families! I don’t feel a family is complete without a pet as I have always had one (or more)! They are family 💖 I work at a boarding kennel part time and am able to care for pets mornings before work for potty break and evenings after work for potty breaks and play time. Morning potty breaks and evening potty breaks and play time on my days off I ask for owners to have written instructions for the specific care for each pet so that I may make sure their pet/pets are taken care of as if their owners had never left! Routine is a big deal for pets and owners!

I am available to walk your neighborhood, my neighborhood is great or I love to walk trails and beach :) I develop a relationship with each dog based on trust and an understanding of their individuality and personality. I allow dogs to be dogs within the realm of what is appropriate and they seem to appreciate my confident and casual style of leadership.

“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“Tina was amazing! She took care of Martin like her own. We had her do a few drop ins while out of town and she kept us in the loop the entire time. She even offered to check on our pup when our flight was delayed. Tina made me feel like I could put my phone down and not worry if Marty was going to be taken care of. I definitely recommend Tina for your pet sitting needs.”

About: Hi there! I’m Hunter, and I’m an experienced pet sitter and dog walker with a lifelong background in animal care, and I’m excited to be offering services here on Rover. I share my home with four dogs and one very spoiled cat, including two Standard Poodles, a Miniature American Shepherd, and a Whippet/Beagle mix—so I’m very comfortable with high-energy, intelligent, and higher-maintenance pets. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, from small dogs to giant breeds, as well as horses, livestock, birds, and other exotics. I am licensed and insured as a registered pet care business under the name Your Pet Au Pair, which allows me to provide professional, reliable care while prioritizing safety and accountability. I also have experience working alongside animal rescues and assisting with the care and rehabilitation of animals who need a little extra patience and understanding. Animals have been a constant in my life, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs calm companionship, structured walks, or attentive in-home care, I’m happy to tailor my approach to what works best for them. If you have any questions or would like to see if we’re a good fit, feel free to reach out here on Rover. I’d love to meet you and your furry (or feathery!) family members 🐾 Being at home full-time allows me to commit extensive time to your precious pup(s). Whether they crave perpetual snuggling, prolonged fetch sessions, or lengthy walks, I am equipped to fulfill their requirements. I strongly believe that dogs deserve to be pampered. I can accommodate diverse feeding needs, except for raw feeding. My home provides various indoor and outdoor enrichment opportunities, including agility, automated fetch machines, wading pools, ball pits, snuffle mats, frozen lick mats, puzzle feeders, herding balls, and more. I offer essential provisions like bowls, kennels, and pens in multiple sizes, toys, and treats.

Corey was great! Will definitely be rebooking. Our small dog doesn’t typically vibe with men but he took to Corey right away. We chose Corey because of his experience with big dogs, our German shepherd was also very well taken care of. From the updates, the dogs enjoyed hanging out with Corey. He took care of them like they were his own.

This is the 2nd time Sophia has watched my cat while I was away on a trip and she is phenomenal. She sends lots of pictures and specific updates. When I come home I can always tell my cat has been well cared for! I highly recommend booking her for your pet care needs 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
