Your pet will be treated like part of our family, a home away from home! I am a full time Registered Nurse case manager. I work fully from home. I enjoy my pet sitting business too! My two passions in life..Nursing and pets! I get to live the best of both worlds...fulfilling my passions and providing your pet awesome quality care! My experience working with pets, completion of pet sitter certification course, and owning a variety of different types of pets in my lifetime gives me the knowledge to understand animal behavior and care, which is beneficial in being able to provide safe and nurturing care for your precious pet! I am not a veterinarian, but my experience as a Registered Nurse provides me a keen sense when it comes to recognizing potential health concerns and ability to manage the care of special needs pets, elderly pets, or pets needing medications too! I live in a 4 bedroom block home with my husband, three children, and my own beloved pets! My yard is FULLY fenced with lots of room for your dog to play! Your dog will be under constant supervision both inside and outside! I can take dogs on walks in my quiet low traffic neighborhood too! I can pet sit cats, birds, and small caged animals also! My three kids are very helpful, playful, gentle, and loving with pets as well. Your pet will be treated like part of our family in our care! I am a pet parent and I understand the apprehensions that come with leaving your fur babies with a stranger. I will be glad to schedule a meet and greet for you and your pet to get to know me. Katie provides excellent care for our pets we truly appreciate all she does for them.
Annnie loves to go to Camp Katie while we're away. She plays with the other dogs and cuddles with them at nap time. We always know she's safe, loved and well cared for. We'll always rebook with Katie.

Katie could not have been any better. Not only did she take great care of my two dogs for 3 days while I was gone she also brought in some packages that were sitting on the front doorstep and was very flexible with the times of the visits. I highly recommend her

Schedule
I work a full time work from home job Monday thru Friday and off on weekends. I can arrange for drop in care/dog walking around my work schedule during the morning and after 5pm. I have full availability on weekends for drop in/walking care. I can also pet sit/housesit at your home overnight or for a few hours while you are away. I also have children so please reach out to discuss availability for housesitting. I do not mind bringing in your mail, packages, or making your home look "lived in" while you are away for added security! I do offer doggy day care but please reach out to me for availability as I would need to evaluate compatibility with boarder dogs I already may have booked on a case by case basis..Please feel free to contact me to discuss schedule needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I personally have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 caged birds. I have the ability to separate pets in the layout of my home as needed. My dogs are older and well mannered. I keep my cats separate when boarding dogs. I do supervised introductions when new pets are meeting my pets. I can provide separate area and/or quiet times for pets that are nervous or shy. I will consider boarding multiple families of pets at a time on a case by case basis. I will care for your animals in your home per your instructions and I will provide daily updates and pictures. Safety and providing a loving, home-like environment is my top priority when caring for your precious pet!
Pets
A typical day
For fun, my family and I like to play fetch with dogs and we have a toy basket with lots of safe toy options! We also love to give lots of pets, belly rubs, and hugs and kisses to the animals in our care! Cuddles on the couch during family TV time are also allowed, but I would be glad to abide by the same family rules you have at your home, to keep training consistent. We can provide exercise outside in our fenced in yard or take walks in our low traffic neighborhood. We do have a park a few blocks away too! Your pet is welcome to bring their favorite bed, blankets, toys, and crate too, if desired. I have three energetic children who would not mind burning some energy playing with those energetic dog personalities. My children are also great at interacting on a quieter, gentle level for those pets who are more nervous or shy. We also can board, do drop in care, housesit for other animals like cats, birds, and small caged animals! For these animals, I also would be sure to provide lots of love, attention, exercise, and nurturing care as appropriate per species needs!

Please be sure your pet is up to date on vaccinations when boarding for insurance purposes also.
