“Joe was really great! He showed up on time and went above and beyond in walking our dogs and caring for them. He was very friendly also! We will definitely use him again! Thank you, Joe!!”

“We are so lucky to have found Breezy here. Our first time using drop in services and we had complete peace of mind while out of town knowing our fur babies would be cared for in our home. Every drop in we received photos and details. Plus our dogs loveeeee Breezy. I’m pretty sure they could care less that we weren’t home because their new favorite person was there.”

“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“Ingrid was EXCEPTIONAL! Right from the meet & greet start. She responded immediately, made it convenient for us, and was so in tune & caring. She didn't extend her stay, she took care of business, friendly & open. She truly went above her duties during her check-ins. She cleaned up after our 2 cats in ways I never asked for n when we got home everything I thought I'd have to do right away was done!!! Cats, even our bashful one, enjoyed her visits & attention so much.....they didn't seem mad at us when we got home. This was a first! Thank you Ingrid, and welcome to the family. You are a sweetheart”

“Katelyne was so easy to work with! Wore our pup out and took great care of our chickens, while keeping us updated on how they were doing the whole time. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Cheyenne did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away! She was reliable, communicative, and sent updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. I came home to two happy cats, and I would definitely book with her again.”

About: I care about them as if they were my own. They don't live as long as humans so they deserve the best life we can give them while they're here. The only experience and knowledge I have of dogs and cats is what I've learned on my own with my pets throughout my life. I don't have a job so my availability is mostly flexible. Looking for extra money, I don't have any special skills I just need extra money and love dogs and cats. The only thing I can think of that puts me apart from other services/sitters is the desire and drive to complete any task, besides my love for pets, I have a great work ethic that helps me be motivated to ensure every step was taken in completing a task. Money is also a great motivator but isn't the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life", that's a great interpretation of my work ethic. I'm currently unemployed. I usually have availability on Saturday, and Sunday. If I am available during the weekend I will update my schedule, otherwise that's my availability. I cannot offer boarding in my home because I live in an apartment where each pet in my home needs to be paid for and accounted for by my apartment management but I will treat your animals and living spaces like royalty and respect all responsibilities asked of me while I care for your pets in your home.
“We've had a lovely Christmas celebration out of town because Christi was there to the rescue. We didn't want to get a different sitter because our boys already know her and just like the first time, she delivered. She was very accommodating with the changes and requests. She regularly sent us updates and photos every visit and not just one but multiple photos, too. We were not able to take out of town vacays for years because of our cats but finding Christi allowed us to do that and more. She is such a sweetheart and we will definitely get her again to take care of our cats! There is no other sitter we'd rather take care of them but her. We highly recommend her and she goes the extra mile to make sure our babies get what they need and the pet owners are at peace.”
“Jamie agreed to watch our babies after the previous sitter could not accommodate us for our short trip to see our sailor come back into port. She arrived on time, changed her drop-in time on the second day when our plans changed and provided excellent pictures and communication, to include an issue unknown to us, which we’ve been dealing with since returning. She followed our detailed instructions, to the letter and gave medication to our twenty year old princess. We highly recommend her services. Thank you Jamie!”

About: I’ve had multiple pets my entire life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I’ve also pet sat and walked dogs for my neighbors and friends for many years. I’m very reliable, always on time, and great at following detailed instructions, so your pet’s routine stays the same while you’re away. I truly care about how your animal is feeling and what they need, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I recently moved back home, and pet sitting is now my full-time focus! I’m active, dependable, and love spending time with animals. My priority is always your pet’s comfort, routine, and happiness. With open availability, I can be flexible and accommodate your pet’s specific needs, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else their pet needs. During walks, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention and a chance to burn off some energy. While house sitting, I spend time with pets so they have company and don’t feel lonely while their owner is away. I truly want pets to feel safe, happy, and cared for the whole time I’m with them.

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Patient, dependable, and attentive. I even taught my cat to sit and spin using positive reinforcement! I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and accommodate your pet’s routine, including walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins if needed! I will follow your pet’s routine, provide fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love while keeping your home clean and respected.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, so I’m very comfortable with all dog breeds. I can also take care of more than just dogs and cats—I have experience with ferrets, birds, snakes, large lizards, and small animals/rodents. If you have other pets, that’s totally okay! I love making sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time, and if yours is high-energy, I’ll keep them busy and entertained 😊 I work Monday–Friday and usually get off around 4:30 PM, but I keep my weekends open for bookings. I’m available after 4:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but I work until 9:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m fully available on weekends. I know your pets miss you when you’re away, so I always make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I have five dogs of my own, so I’m very used to different personalities and energy levels, and I’ll treat yours like part of the family.
“We used the drop-in visits. Amanda sent photos from every visit. Our dogs looked very happy even though we weren’t there. I would definitely use her service again! Thanks Amanda!”

“Jessica did an incredible job watching our cats and keeping our house in shape! When we take trips, our cats tend to decimate everything and it was great to know Jessica was not only easing our worry, but keeping our cats safe and entertained!”
“Jasmine is always great with our two kitties, even our shy girl loves her! She communicates well and always makes sure we know our girls are in good hands. We will never hesitate to use Jasmine as long as she is on Rover. Thank you!”

Naomi is absolutely amazing, she is kind, honest and trustworthy! She went above and beyond in the best possible ways for me and my family. We were in a difficult situation with our mother needing to leave her pets and go for temporary healthcare after suffering a stroke, Naomi made the pet care for the cats and dog in every way easier for us with no worries on their care and attention.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Citrus Springs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
