About: 🐶1.5 acres fenced in yard. 🐶Veterinary assistant background. 🐶Low volume boarding/daycare. 🐶Licensed and insured. Pet first aid and CPR certified. Compassionate, reliable, responsible and patient....your pets home away from home. We have lots of room to run and play and explore, and they are always supervised. We have a pool if your dog likes water, and again, they will always be supervised if they do like to swim. We have a separate fenced in play area for smaller and older dogs when we have higher energy dogs here. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Safety is my top priority here. PLEASE READ ALL!! I always require a meet and greet and a paid trial daycare assessment and for any stays over 2 nights, I also require a paid overnight. The safety and comfort of your dog is my top priority and I want them to be happy here. These assessments tell me alot about your dog and how they will be with us. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I can't wait to love and spoil them. At Danette’s Comfy Critters, this isn’t a side gig—this is my full-time passion. I’m home with your pets all day, loving on them, watching over them, and treating them just like my own. Your pups will enjoy plenty of outdoor time in our spacious fenced yard (weather permitting), plus endless belly rubs, ear scritches, and all the cozy attention they adore. When they stay with me, they’re not just boarded… they’re spoiled, catered to, and welcomed into our Comfy Critters family. 💛🐾 We have a safe, secured, 1.5-acre fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, sniff, zoom, or simply stretch out and sunbathe. Your pups are always supervised while outside—safety is a top priority here at Danette’s Comfy Critters. During our meet & greet, I’ll go over your dog’s typical home routine so I can mirror it as closely as possible. Keeping things familiar helps your pup feel relaxed, confident, and right at home during their stay.

About: I've loved and taken care of all different kinds of animals my whole life! I started at 14 taking care of horses in my 4-H club. I've grown up living with dogs, cats and even a bird or two. After I turned 20, I finally got my very first personal dog. I love her more than life itself! I am currently part time employed and job hunting! I am taking this time to grow as a person and possibly start my own business. I am in college part time for business, but I always make time for the important things in life (loving on my pup) I know what it’s like to need to be away from your baby. I have a large fenced yard for your pup to run and/or a large, cozy bed for them to snooze. Whatever fits your pup best!

About: I’ve grown up around pets my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve regularly watched my friends’ dogs and recently pet sat for my mom’s client for 4 days, where I made sure their pet was safe, comfortable, fed, and well cared for. I’m patient, responsible, and very attentive to animals’ needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. 🐾❤️ I currently work at Amazon and I do night shifts 1am-11:50am Friday-Monday and my Off days would be Tuesday -Thursday would also be available Friday-Monday after 1pm I treat every pet like they’re my own! I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime and attention, and stick to their normal routine. I love giving pets lots of love and making sure they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I’ll always follow the owner’s instructions and make sure their fur baby is happy and well taken care of.

FAQs for Cat Sitting - Citrus Hills

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
