“Katie is amazing! We had to leave town for the weekend so we needed to find good care for our energetic Hank. I stumbled upon rover and found Katie, so I decided to message her right away, she responded within minutes! And that same conversation led us to our meet and greet the next day. When we got to the meet and greet, we were welcomed by Katie and her family, she has two older dogs and she created a safe place for Hank to meet her dogs individually first. All the dogs got along really well and we know that Hank was comfortable and happy to stay with Katie when we had to leave. During the stay with Katie, she was very good at communicating with me throughout the trip, and from the picture she sent us we know that Hank was having a great time. Katie is wonderful and if we ever have to look for care for hing, we will definitely come back to her!”

I had a last minute emergency creating the need for a dog boarder for a holiday weekend on the Thursday before the holiday for my nervous nilly dog. I found them in my Rover account. They had a space for my dog and let us come over that same day for a meet and greet. My nervous nilly dog showed me right away how comfortable she was there. I loved what I saw and booked with them right away. Over the weekend, my fur baby was allowed to do the kinds of things we let her do at home - snuggle up on our chairs with us, sleep in our bed, etc. In addition to their fenced-in back yard, they went on daily walks and played in the house with their dog and 1 other that was also there for the weekend. I recieved photos and I could tell my dog was having a great time. When I picked her up yesterday I could quickly see that she was not stressed at all from this new last-minute situation. “Bella my Bernadoodle made herself right at home the minute she walked in. She loved the kids and Stefhany and Jean. She is not used to kids or other dogs but I think she was living every minute of it. They sent several videos and pictures to let me see how she was doing. That was so nice it made me feel better. I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home after all the fun at their house vs. boring ole Momma at home. Luckily when I arrived she was so excited. She had been well fed and stimulated because she fell asleep as soon as we got home. This was my first time on Rover, I will most definitely use them again in tue future. I work at a dog boarding kennel currently and have worked at the animal shelter where I cared for all of the strays and helped them try to find new homes and reunited lost pets with their families! I don’t feel a family is complete without a pet as I have always had one (or more)! They are family 💖 I work at a boarding kennel part time and am able to care for pets mornings before work for potty break and evenings after work for potty breaks and play time. Morning potty breaks and evening potty breaks and play time on my days off I ask for owners to have written instructions for the specific care for each pet so that I may make sure their pet/pets are taken care of as if their owners had never left! Routine is a big deal for pets and owners!

About: I’ve been living with dogs my whole life and I love all kinds of pets! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and cats except bottle-babies. I am a certified dog trainer and formerly worked at an animal rescue as the behavior manager. This has provided me with experience with dogs and cats of various temperaments from a variety of situations. I also offer private dog training and other pet services through my private business. My work schedule is pretty flexible so I can make time any day of the week to work with you and your pets. For dogs in boarding, I always make time throughout the day for plenty of playing, physical exercise, mental enrichment, and relaxation. I have experience with a variety of care requirements including special handling for animals of different temperaments, walking and exercising dogs with behavioral issues, preparing specialized diets, and administering medications that I am confident in applying to your pet’s needs. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.

About: From pups to great Danes, turtles to amazon green parrots, fish and more, love them all. Cats are great but only can do drop in visits. I work from home and pets will go out supervised in the yard and walks, weather permitting( down pour rain). Letting pets out IS MY PRIORITY!! About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. I live in a dog friendly park that has a nice trail and isn't very crowded

“Where to start... I've been contemplating a dog walker for almost the year, I finally got on some sites and started looking around. Katie came up and I immediately liked what I read. As a first timer I was a little confused on how everything worked, Katie walked me right through it, which was a blessing. She was very kind and flexible with her time, as originally I wanted more days and ended up not needing them. We had our meet and greet. My girl loved her! So we went ahead and booked the walks. About: I am an animal lover. I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life as well as goats, chickens, and an occasional bird. I’ve also rescued and/or raised squirrels, rabbits, and a raccoon. I am retired so I have plenty of time to care for your babies. My baby (chihuahua) has epilepsy so I’m familiar with sticking to routines and administering oral medication. I am really quite a home body. I do a lot of crocheting. The only time that is not negotiable is the first and third Saturday 7:00am to 2:00pm of each month when I try to sell my crochet items at the farmers market. About: From pups to great Danes, turtles to amazon green parrots, fish and more, love them all. Cats are great but only can do drop in visits. I work from home and pets will go out supervised in the yard and walks, weather permitting( down pour rain). Letting pets out IS MY PRIORITY!! I have a fenced in shaded yard perfect for small sunbathing and rolling around in the grass. Great for doing zoomies and playing ball lots of fun!!

“Katie is amazing! We had to leave town for the weekend so we needed to find good care for our energetic Hank. I stumbled upon rover and found Katie, so I decided to message her right away, she responded within minutes! And that same conversation led us to our meet and greet the next day. When we got to the meet and greet, we were welcomed by Katie and her family, she has two older dogs and she created a safe place for Hank to meet her dogs individually first. All the dogs got along really well and we know that Hank was comfortable and happy to stay with Katie when we had to leave. During the stay with Katie, she was very good at communicating with me throughout the trip, and from the picture she sent us we know that Hank was having a great time. Katie is wonderful and if we ever have to look for care for hing, we will definitely come back to her!”

I’ve raised my dog Zoso since I was 14 when she was a puppy, she recently passed away at 17 years old so having other dogs around makes me so happy. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am an expert on giving medication too from having a senior dog for many years!
