Dog Walkers in Lecanto, FL

About: I am a 54 year old single female. I have owned several pets throughout my life from newborn pups to elderly. I currently have 4 dogs and 3 adult children (1 grandchild) that I care for. I have experience walking all types of dogs, individually or in a group. I am available to house sit as well as pet sit. And not to worry, my pets are loved and well taken care of by my adult children while I take care of yours. I have been caring for my family and friends pets and children almost my entire life - I have plenty of love to share with all of your pets. I can even care for your plants if needed. 😊 I live in Lecanto and I am only available in the evenings Monday through Thursday after 6PM. But I am available FULL TIME Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is my dream to spend my later years caring and loving for animals. I am interested in making caring for and loving pets my full time job, so I am more than interested in full time positions. I would love to leave my current day job behind and make my passion for animals my full time job. Your pets and your home will be treated as if they are my own. I live in a nice subdivision and keep my back yard fenced for the dog’s freedom and security. As I have several pets already I would be caring for or walking your pets in your home / neighborhood. I will send photos and videos of your pets as I care for them so you can feel at ease while away from your pet(s).

About: I’m a dog person. I’ve never been without a dog and have owned many breeds; A Chihuahua, German Sheppard, cockapoo, English Springer Spaniel, mixed breeds, Jack Russell Shortie. I love them all. Currently I own a 15 year old senior Corgi and an 18 month old long haired Mini Dachshund puppy. I can’t get enough of dogs. I have also dog sat for many neighbors and family. My daughter owns two very active Australian Sheppards and they love me! because I am retired and home full-time i can shower your fur babies with love, attention and activities. Please save me from owning too many dogs by allowing me to invite your pup(s) into my home! I am retired and I do volunteer work, about 10 hours a week. I have a senior dog who requires eye drops and a special diet. In addition my youngster dachshund has completed puppy training, house training and socialization. She loves to play, if you have a puppy, my home is puppy proof and I will help you work on housebreaking. I have a large home with a fenced yard. I have two well socialized and pet friendly dogs. A 15 year old Corgi and an 18 month old mini dachshund. My dogs are crate trained. Visiting dogs can be crate trained or free to roam the house. On furniture is fine, but I will adhere to your rules. I do not allow dogs in my bed.

About: I love to walk! Having a buddy or two walking with me is even better. The age doesn't matter. Young is great because they are active and I want to stay active. I enjoy playing fetch. I do like wrestling (the big ones) and some aggressive belly rubbing. Sometimes just chilling out for some petting or scratching works also. What schedule? I'm retired, so I have no schedule and plenty of time. I love mornings! Spending time around animals fits in my schedule just fine. I love to walk and play fetch with Baya or just rubbing her belly and scratching her head. She is elderly and has a sensitive tummy so is required to have a special made food (usually ground turkey or eggs and brown rice and a veggie. Keeping her weight under control helps keep her active.

Once he realized it was just the two of them he was fine and went down the driveway wagging his tail. Jennifer took pictures and told me all about their walk. I have booked Jennifer for weekly walks and look forward to our vacation next month.”

About: Animal care for years!! Working at an animal shelter, as an animal control officer and as a vet assistant. Super passionate and comfortable working with and caring for all kinds of domestic pets. My schedule is a bit flexible. Especially on weekends so I am able to walk, hang out and play with furry friends! Can stop in a couple of times a day during the week. I can either walk the dogs or let them play in the yard, whichever you prefer. Hang out with and spend time with them indoors or out.

About: Responsible young man who will care for your pet as if it was my own. I enjoy being around animals and they seem to like me. Have had a dog and a cat since I was young. Non smoker and do not use alcohol or drugs. I stand out from other pet sitters in the fact that I'm a kind and thoughtful person. I enjoy working with animals and am diligent and trustworthy. I enjoy being with dogs and cats and feel they are not judgmental and easier to get along with then some people. All the animals like to come over to me and get petted and they seem to enjoy that. They just want someone to love them and I would be more then happy to give them attention.

About: I worked at a pet store for about 2 years, where I took care of dogs being boarded. I got my first dog at 4 years old so I have been around dogs my whole life. I have had both small and large dogs. I have taken care of many types of dogs from yorkies to labs and German Shepard’s. I have experience with dogs from 8 weeks old to 16 years old. I am currently enrolled in college and my major is animal science, I plan on expanding my knowledge of animals by going to vet school and getting my doctorates degree. My roommates and I do have a dog. She is about 2 years and she is blind so I do have experience in animals that need extra care.

About: Hello, I have grew up ever since I could remember with all kinds of animals. I was raised in a household with foster dogs, owned dogs of many breeds, snakes, lizards, birds, you name it! I love animals and I have definitely learned through the years what not to do and what to do to best care for them. I have a job that’s pretty flexible for the most part. I can change it up and discuss with anyone what may or may not work throughout the day. Either way I am off by 5 at the very latest everyday and I have weekends off. I also don’t mind early morning hours! I will ensure I have the details of what your pet may need special attention to such as food needs, items in home that may be potentially hazardous or just make a mess, and being extra careful on a leash.

About: I have experience looking after puppies, seniors, and even special needs dogs. I also have experience looking after cats and horses! I absolutely love animals and updating owners with photos, videos, texts, etc. I will love your best friend as if it was my own! I am taking an online class for school but other than that I have a lot of free time to look after your best friend! I am hoping to petsit as a part time job so if I get enough clients this will be my primary focus for the summer and during the school year if it works out. I will take care of your home and pet, as if it were my own. I clean up, spend time with them, and as soon as something seems off you will be getting a call from me. I take pride in doing the absolute best job I can.

About: Having had and cared for pets all of my life, I have always been the one to say "Awww, look at the fur baby and stop to give lovings!" To me, our animals are more than just pets, they are family! Caring for my mother's fur babies up until the end, I would say my specialty would be caring for senior animals and comforting those having had loss of theirs. I work different hours weekly at my profession with a flexible schedule, this gives me many options to care for the needs of your family of pets. We have a secure fenced yard for my husband's Weimaraner, and we have multiple indoor cats that are completely spoiled with what they believe is "Their" own room with cat trees!

About: Highly communicative, and very consistent with pet care, paying attention to the time of day for meals and walks so the animal has a routine. I am a Healing Touch for Animals practitioner which gives me an added value and makes dogs feel safe and comfortable around me. My partner, who is a vet tech, may accompany me on stays at your home. I previously worked at a veterinarian hospital and was a dog swim coach for five years, giving me plenty of experience with dog training, managing dog behavior, and awareness of their health issues. I work part-time from home and am around most weekends, so I have plenty of time to care for your sweet pets! Multiple dog walks or check-ins each day are fine with me! About: From pups to great Danes, turtles to amazon green parrots, fish and more, love them all. Cats are great but only can do drop in visits. I work from home and pets will go out supervised in the yard and walks, weather permitting( down pour rain). Letting pets out IS MY PRIORITY!! I have a fenced in shaded yard perfect for small sunbathing and rolling around in the grass. Great for doing zoomies and playing ball lots of fun!!
