I had a last minute emergency creating the need for a dog boarder for a holiday weekend on the Thursday before the holiday for my nervous nilly dog. I found them in my Rover account. They had a space for my dog and let us come over that same day for a meet and greet. My nervous nilly dog showed me right away how comfortable she was there. I loved what I saw and booked with them right away. Over the weekend, my fur baby was allowed to do the kinds of things we let her do at home - snuggle up on our chairs with us, sleep in our bed, etc. In addition to their fenced-in back yard, they went on daily walks and played in the house with their dog and 1 other that was also there for the weekend. I recieved photos and I could tell my dog was having a great time. When I picked her up yesterday I could quickly see that she was not stressed at all from this new last-minute situation. About: Growing up , I have owned every type of pet . Cats , dogs anywhere from shi-tzus to St. Bernard’s , rabbits , hamsters , snakes and tarantulas. I go on 4 mile walks/runs about 3 -4 days a week and happy to take your pet along for a walk or run! I’ve taken in many pets , such as those who have needed senior care , pets who were deaf and or blind , and pets who were rescued. I have 3 years of paid experience working with animals ! I’m currently in school virtually full time so I guess you could say I work from home ! Im able to fit any walk routine , any potty schedule , and any drop bys if needed ! “Katie (and her family!) are the BESTESSESSESS!! This was the first time we left our puppy with a stranger or ever used Rover so I was a bit anxious. She did a meet n greet with us to relieve some nerves. She sent pictures every day. Each day Riley went she was pulling me out of the car tail wagging running to the front door. I'm so grateful for Katie, we were able to enjoy our vacation and know our puppy was safe and being loved on!!!!”

About: I have been working with dogs for about 8 years. I have experience from working at kennels and a veterinary office. I am pet CPR certified and have taken courses on dog behavior and body language. Dogs are truly my passion and I love each and every one like they are my own. I do live on 3 acres of land with a smaller fenced in dog area off of the back patio. There is plenty of space for your dog to run and have fun but also can accommodate a slower lifestyle for the old timers. I’m currently watching dogs from home full time so my schedule is tailored to your dog and their needs. I live on 3 acres along with living in a peaceful neighborhood so if your dog is use to getting walks every day, I can do that. If your dog is a lazy bones and just wants to hang out we’ve got space to do that too. They will get plenty of attention and be treated like my own.

Self employed, so I have a free schedule. Only times unavailable are Sunday mornings. Any days I'll be unavailable will be known months in advance. About: I've always had a passion for animals my whole life. When i was 13-14 i volunteered at a petting zoo with all sorts of animals even dogs.I also use to pet sit for family friends quite a lot. I currently work at a boarding/daycare facility where we tend to all of their different needs. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.

As a first timer I was a little confused on how everything worked, Katie walked me right through it, which was a blessing. She was very kind and flexible with her time, as originally I wanted more days and ended up not needing them. We had our meet and greet. My girl loved her! So we went ahead and booked the walks. About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. Both pups are neutered. My current pup is crate trained but I am also used to both crate trained and non crate trained pups.

About: Growing up , I have owned every type of pet . Cats , dogs anywhere from shi-tzus to St. Bernard’s , rabbits , hamsters , snakes and tarantulas. I go on 4 mile walks/runs about 3 -4 days a week and happy to take your pet along for a walk or run! I’ve taken in many pets , such as those who have needed senior care , pets who were deaf and or blind , and pets who were rescued. I have 3 years of paid experience working with animals ! I’m currently in school virtually full time so I guess you could say I work from home ! Im able to fit any walk routine , any potty schedule , and any drop bys if needed ! I have a fenced in back yard! I also have a spare room for any animals I board ! When visiting clients homes I send updates and pictures if needed !
“This was the first time we had to board our puppy and Dawn was excellent! She kept us in the loop with pictures and texts to let us know our little boy was happy and playing with her family. She took care of his medication schedule and feedings, etc. He came back to us a happy puppy! Overall amazing experience and Dawn made us feel comfortable leaving the puppy with her. About: I’m a dog person. I’ve never been without a dog and have owned many breeds; A Chihuahua, German Sheppard, cockapoo, English Springer Spaniel, mixed breeds, Jack Russell Shortie. I love them all. Currently I own a 15 year old senior Corgi and an 18 month old long haired Mini Dachshund puppy. I can’t get enough of dogs. I have also dog sat for many neighbors and family. My daughter owns two very active Australian Sheppards and they love me! because I am retired and home full-time i can shower your fur babies with love, attention and activities. Please save me from owning too many dogs by allowing me to invite your pup(s) into my home! I am retired and I do volunteer work, about 10 hours a week. I have a senior dog who requires eye drops and a special diet. In addition my youngster dachshund has completed puppy training, house training and socialization. She loves to play, if you have a puppy, my home is puppy proof and I will help you work on housebreaking. I have a large home with a fenced yard. I have two well socialized and pet friendly dogs. A 15 year old Corgi and an 18 month old mini dachshund. My dogs are crate trained. Visiting dogs can be crate trained or free to roam the house. On furniture is fine, but I will adhere to your rules. I do not allow dogs in my bed.
