“I almost hate to review this true gem! Linda will puppy sit one dog at a time which is great for my people-friendly, dog-hesitant fur baby. Her love of pets is so very apparent the moment you meet her. What a truly great find.”

About: I've taken care of animals my entire life. Cats, dogs, birds, iguanas, ferrets and a few farm animals too. I was involved in an animal rescue group for several years, fostering many animals who had health issues. I firmly believe that all animals deserve love, shelter, safety, and food. I fall in love with almost every animal I meet! Even chickens! When I'm taking care of an animal, they get a majority of my attention and affection. I do some work from home so it should blend well. I like to meet with the owners and pets a couple of times before to be sure the animals are familiar with me and learn any important information for each pet. I try to follow the owners routine so that the pets are not confused.
About: I have been working with dogs for about 9 years. I have experience from working at kennels and a veterinary office. I am pet CPR certified and have taken courses on dog behavior and body language.I have experience giving medications and insulin shots. Dogs are truly my passion and I love each and every one like they are my own. I have a very open and flexible schedule to watch your dogs! I am available weekdays, weekends and holidays. I do live on 3 acres of land with a smaller fenced in dog area off of the back pool patio. There is plenty of space for your dog to run and have fun but also can accommodate a slower lifestyle for the old timers. I have 2 dogs of my own that have been with me in many dog social situations and are accustomed to all types of friendly behavior from other pets and enjoy the company. My two year old basset is very very friendly and loves to play, the 5 year old beagle loves to run and be close to dogs but is more distant than the basset and just loves the company. I look forward to taking care of your pups! I’m currently watching dogs from home full time so my schedule is tailored to your dog and their needs. I never leave our dogs alone for more than 4 hours and you can expect the same while I am watching your furry friends! I live on 3 acres along with living in a peaceful neighborhood so if your dog is use to getting walks every day, I can do that. If your dog is a lazy bones and just wants to hang out we’ve got space to do that too. They will get plenty of attention and be treated like my own.

I have a private fenced in yard with a security system. Also full access between the house and sunroom. Segregation tools like crates are available if needed.

Weather it's the new kid @ 8 weeks to the aging adult dog, I got YOU You choose to have your baby cared for in your home or mine. Life happens and I'm available 24-7 I currently work part time in the home health field. Where I've dedicated myself full time. I'm looking to switch gears by hanging up the senior home health to canine care. My home is surrounded by a woody environment, providing shade and room for ball play with exercise. “Vivi is my new go-to pet sitter! She is so sweet and mellow, my little anxious maltipoo was instantly at ease with her! I opted for doggy daycare at her home, and I felt assured that my pup was in good hands. She has a cozy house with a big grassy fenced yard for your pet to walk and play. She does have chickens, but she kept them away in their pen to accommodate my pup’s tendency to be reactive around other animals. I really appreciate that she cares for my pet as if it were her own! Vivi even sent photo updates of my pup throughout the stay to give me peace of mind (which was super helpful for me as a first time Rover user!) Overall, I would highly recommend Vivi to pet sit your beloved animal companions! :)”

About: What truly sets me apart is the heart and hands-on experience I bring to every pet I care for. As someone who has raised and loved three dogs of my own, I understand firsthand the deep bond between pets and their people. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care — and I don’t take that lightly. My experience ranges from caring for energetic puppies to providing gentle support for senior dogs with special needs. I’ve handled everything from potty training and socialization to administering medications and creating calm routines for older pets. I’m attentive to each animal’s personality and comfort level, and I tailor my care to fit their individual needs. I don’t see this as just a job — I truly love animals, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s a long walk, a quiet cuddle, or simply being a calming presence while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication, or just offering companionship, I’m happy to provide the same level of love and attention I give my own dogs. Pets in my home enjoy plenty of safe space to run and explore in my fenced half-acre yard. I give them lots of attention, exercise, and make sure to follow their individual routines to keep them happy and comfortable.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holder
Dawn was excellent! We reached out only a few days prior and she was able to accommodate, which we were so grateful for. She gave Dozer plenty of attention, and he came home happy. You could tell he had a good day! Dawn is very responsive and sends lots of photo and video updates. We’d definitely book her again!

It doesn't get much better than this. Harley's stay with Linda and her husband was like leaving your fur baby with a trusted family member. The pictures alone show her lounging in the dog bed, laying out in the yard relaxing and the access to a huge fenced in yard were a perfect situation. Harley was clearly happy! Linda's philosophy of caring for only one pet (or pet family) ensured that Harley got her undivided attention. Great experience! Thank you Linda and Ron.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Holder commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
