“Nola and Rick took our 2 dogs into daycare as a short notice booking. Both dogs enjoyed spending 2 days with them. I would definitely use these 2 again in any future visits.”

“This was Chloe's first day care with Laura. Laura was great. Chloe makes no secret about whether she likes a Rover or not. And this stay she was obviously happy with. We already have the next stay booked for the Memorial Day weekend. Thanks Laura!”

“Katie (and her family!) are the BESTESSESSESS!! This was the first time we left our puppy with a stranger or ever used Rover so I was a bit anxious. She did a meet n greet with us to relieve some nerves. She sent pictures every day. Each day Riley went she was pulling me out of the car tail wagging running to the front door. I'm so grateful for Katie, we were able to enjoy our vacation and know our puppy was safe and being loved on!!!!”

About: What truly sets me apart is the heart and hands-on experience I bring to every pet I care for. As someone who has raised and loved three dogs of my own, I understand firsthand the deep bond between pets and their people. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care — and I don’t take that lightly. My experience ranges from caring for energetic puppies to providing gentle support for senior dogs with special needs. I’ve handled everything from potty training and socialization to administering medications and creating calm routines for older pets. I’m attentive to each animal’s personality and comfort level, and I tailor my care to fit their individual needs. I don’t see this as just a job — I truly love animals, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s a long walk, a quiet cuddle, or simply being a calming presence while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication, or just offering companionship, I’m happy to provide the same level of love and attention I give my own dogs. Pets in my home enjoy plenty of safe space to run and explore in my fenced half-acre yard. I give them lots of attention, exercise, and make sure to follow their individual routines to keep them happy and comfortable.

“Bill and Tina are the best thing I could ever find for my Fur Baby. She suffers from separation anxiety and they give her so much love and attention while she is there.”

About: We are a Loving and Fun Family that would love to take care of your fur baby while you are away, walk while you are out for the day or have them over for a doggie play date to keep them socialized. My husband and I have had pets since we both were small from cats to all sizes of dogs. Your dog will receive plenty of loving attention, exercise, and will be treated as if they are part of our family. We can't wait to meet you. My husband works from home and is available all day to care of your fur baby so frequent potty breaks and playtime won't be an issue. Our animals have always been treated as part of the family. I have two children, a 10-year-old boy, and a 8-year-old girl. We have a friendly and loving Golden retriever named Winnie, who is never far from our side! We live in a nice quiet neighborhood that has a lot of safe sidewalks for walks and a fenced backyard that they can play in. If you want your pet to be loved, taken care of, and spoiled while you are away then we are the sitters for you.
“We highly recommend Kailyn! She took excellent care of our two dogs. She is friendly and reliable and our dogs were excited to see her the next time she took care of them. So, we all like her!”

About: I’ve been living with dogs my whole life and I love all kinds of pets! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and cats except bottle-babies. I am a certified dog trainer and formerly worked at an animal rescue as the behavior manager. This has provided me with experience with dogs and cats of various temperaments from a variety of situations. I also offer private dog training and other pet services through my private business. My work schedule is pretty flexible so I can make time any day of the week to work with you and your pets. For dogs in boarding, I always make time throughout the day for plenty of playing, physical exercise, mental enrichment, and relaxation. I have experience with a variety of care requirements including special handling for animals of different temperaments, walking and exercising dogs with behavioral issues, preparing specialized diets, and administering medications that I am confident in applying to your pet’s needs. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.
“Many pet daycare facilities close between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm, so I looked on Rover.com to find a pet sitter who coud watch my dog later than that while I went out to dinner. I was glad to find Sarah. Sarah was very friendly and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her. Her home looked like a very nice environment in which pets could happily play and rest. I would leave my dog with Sarah again.”

“Amazing first time for Winston! He didn’t want to leave, and was absolutely exhausted when we got home! Great communication from Caridad and Jose with pictures and all!”

“Ruben & brendalee were amazing my dogs absolutely loved them and the kids. This is the first time ive used this service but I Definitely found my dog sitter any time I need one! 😁”

“Erica and her family were very welcoming to us and our dog, Moose. We felt comfortable with our dog in her care. Erica was prompt with communication, flexible with time, and we could tell Moose got plenty of love and attention from the whole family.”

“I have had Bailey stay with Tifany and her family a couple of times, and each time she has ensured that Bailey felt right at home with her other pups! Tifany makes sure her home is clean and dog friendly. Tifany has an outdoor area also ready for the dogs to play and have fun. If they get dirty, Tifany washes them so they come home clean as well as exhausted. She communicates regularly throughout your dog’s stay with pictures and updates. I definitely recommend Tifany and her husband!”

“Manny and Jessica were very sweet to my Luna and she even made a friend in Cash, their pup. I was happy with their flexibility during drop off and pick up and chatting with them about how Luna's experience was with them at the end was great. I recommend!”

About: I have 20+ years of experience. I started caring for other people’s pets as well as my own when I was 9 years old. I have experience in basic training, leash walking, interactive playtime, potty schedule, food amount per size, dietary restrictions and medication needs, and bathing. I can accommodate drop offs and pick ups in 30-minute slots from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. I am a virtual high school teacher with a flexible schedule. I spend most of my days at home, allowing me to provide your 4-legged family member with unlimited supervision, playtime/rest, and potty breaks. My work-from-home schedule is 10:00am-6:30pm. If I were to leave, it would be to the gym. However, I would do my best to plan accordingly so I do not have outside commitments when pet sitting. My goal is to treat your pet as my own, making sure they feel loved and cared for. My home has a fenced yard for the loving furbabies to play. It is also a quiet neighborhood so the walks are relaxing. When pets stay with me they have their own guest room which is also my office so they will be with me all day and night. There are 2 XXL crates (approx. 4’x3’), 2 large, and 1 medium which can be prepped for use if needed or recommended by owner.
“I almost hate to review this true gem! Linda will puppy sit one dog at a time which is great for my people-friendly, dog-hesitant fur baby. Her love of pets is so very apparent the moment you meet her. What a truly great find.”

About: Hi! I'm someone who truly loves being around dogs and caring for them like they're family. I’ve had plenty of experience walking, boarding, and spending quality time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Whether it’s a daily walk, weekend stay, or just some daytime play and snuggles, I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work remotely so your fur babies won’t spend too much time alone, if any. This also allows me flexibility to cater to your pets needs whether it be fun activities, long walks, or couch snuggles. When I'm home I have a fenced yard for your pups to run around in or they can hang inside. Nothing is off limits to the fur kids in terms of sofas or beds. I have also spent time at client's home and am always clean and organized. I leave places as clean as I find them, if not cleaner.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
