“Linda & her husband took amazing care of our mini poodle, Harley. We were able to enjoy our vacation because she updated us by sending pictures & videos several times a day. We now schedule our vacations around her calendar. We’ve had several good dog sitters , but Linda is by far the best!”

“Anna was great with our dog. I loved that she texted us pictures and videos multiple times a day. You can tell she loves dogs and truly cares for the dogs she takes care of. Will absolutely be using her in the future!”

“Conocí a Sthefany un dia antes de recoger mi pequeño, ella estuvo cuidando mi chiquito por 20 días, mi esposa fue quien contacto a Sthefany, cuando vi a Klaus lo vi tan feliz, cuidado, jugando con los demás y con Sthefany de una manera que no lo había visto. Excelentes trabajo, nos encantó y a Klaus también. Recibíamos un mensaje constantemente con actualizaciones de como estaba nuestro bebe. 1000% recomendada. Amamos su servicio 😍😍”

“Silvia and her family did a superior job taking care of our Westie. He was outdoors, as well as indoors and interacted with her dogs and was well-cared for. It was the first time he was away from his home in 7 years.”

“Samantha was a great friend to my 3 dogs for an overnight stay! They had a great time, she kept me updated throughout the stay and had yummy treats to share with them! We our glad to have found our new sitter!”

“Julia was absolutely wonderful! This was the first time in a long time that our dog had stayed with someone other than family, so naturally, we were a little anxious about how she would adjust. From the moment she arrived, Julia went above and beyond to make her feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. She kept us updated throughout her stay with thoughtful messages and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear how attentive and caring she was, especially when it came to helping ease our dog’s anxiety and making sure all of her needs were met. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and, without a doubt, will be reaching out to Julia again to care for our fur baby. Thank you so much, Julia, for treating her with such kindness, patience, and love. We truly appreciate you! ❤️🐾”

About: I've taken care of animals my entire life. Cats, dogs, birds, iguanas, ferrets and a few farm animals too. I was involved in an animal rescue group for several years, fostering many animals who had health issues. I firmly believe that all animals deserve love, shelter, safety, and food. I fall in love with almost every animal I meet! Even chickens! When I'm taking care of an animal, they get a majority of my attention and affection. I do some work from home so it should blend well. I like to meet with the owners and pets a couple of times before to be sure the animals are familiar with me and learn any important information for each pet. I try to follow the owners routine so that the pets are not confused.
“We had an absolutely exceptional experience with our sitter! She cared for our newly rescued hound, Georgia, for 11 days, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave her with. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly professional, communicative, and accommodating. She immediately asked about Georgia’s needs and personality and was completely willing to meet her where she was at. Georgia can be an anxious girl, and one of the things we appreciated most was how patient and thoughtful she was with her. She took the time to figure out what worked best for Georgia rather than pushing her too far or putting her in situations that might unnecessarily stress her. She really respected Georgia’s boundaries and let her build confidence at her own pace. It was clear that she genuinely understood that every animal is different and deserves individualized care. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Honestly, Georgia had a vacation of her own while we were on ours! She has a beautiful, spacious, fenced-in area for the animals, and Georgia clearly had the BEST time at the farm. Our girl also had a little hot spot that needed some attention, and our sitter kept a close eye on it and cared for it so well that it improved tremendously while she was there. And when we picked Georgia up, she had even had a bath! She was also incredibly kind when I had to cancel one day at short notice. I didn’t expect a refund at all (even told her not to worry about it), but she immediately sent one without hesitation. That really speaks to the kind of person she is. From the communication and professionalism to the genuine care and patience she gave Georgia, this was truly an exceptional experience. We felt completely comfortable knowing our girl was in such good hands, and we will absolutely be back. We couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you for giving Georgia such a wonderful little farm vacation! ❤️🐾 She’s definitely looking forward to her next stay at the farm with her new friends! 🤗”

“Excellent! Manny & Jessica were so wonderful. They took care of our two small breed girls for an extended weekend trip we took. They were excellent communicators from day 1, and were thoughtful to send many pictures and sweet updates about of babies each day. This made for a wonderful trip because we were confident our pups were in good hands. Thank you again guys! Our girls already miss you!”

“We are so thankful to have found Gage and Ann. They are attentive from start to finish, always answering our questions and helping to reassure us that our dogs are in great hands. Our pups felt right at home with Gage and Ann, quickly adapting and settling in for their vacation. It can be scary leaving your dogs with strangers, but Gage and Ann were immediately comfortable and kind, and so easy to work with from start to finish. We highly recommend them and will absolutely ask them to watch our dogs again in the future. Thank you so much, Gage and Ann!”

“Hugh watched my little lotus for two nights and made me feel completely at ease about leaving him for the first time. Very thankful for Hughs love of dogs and opening his home. I will definitely be bringing Lotus back!”

“Blanca loved her stay with Toni and enjoyed playing with another big dog. She was really treated like part of the family and I know today she misses the attention. I will definitely use Toni again because I know my girl was safe and happy there. Highly recommend!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pine Ridge
Leonard was great. My fur babies had a welcome sign at the door when we arrived and I was truly grateful for the last minute taking them, which is something I don’t like to do but could not help this one. He was great with my babies and I got a lot of pictures during their stay. I highly recommend him. My fur babies seemed relaxed when I picked them up and not anxious at all.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
