I am retired and I do volunteer work, about 10 hours a week. I have a senior dog who requires eye drops and a special diet. In addition my youngster dachshund has completed puppy training, house training and socialization. She loves to play, if you have a puppy, my home is puppy proof and I will help you work on housebreaking.

I have a large home with a fenced yard. I have two well socialized and pet friendly dogs. A 15 year old Corgi and an 18 month old mini dachshund. My dogs are crate trained. Visiting dogs can be crate trained or free to roam the house. On furniture is fine, but I will adhere to your rules. I do not allow dogs in my bed.

I will need to know all about your dog’s routine, medications, diet, likes and dislikes. Also if there are any specific behaviors you are trying to correct. If your dog is aggressive toward other dogs, this will not be a good fit. Please be honest with yourself and with me. Puppies that need housebreaking are welcome. Please let me know in advance so I can ensure plenty of potty breaks.
A typical day
Daily walks and indoor/outdoor play is the norm for my house. We like to play fetch. I also work in 10 minute spurts on training…every day; Come, sit, down, wait, stay, drop it, leave it. Bed or place, roll over (for fun) and jump through a hula hoop.

I’m a dog person. I’ve never been without a dog and have owned many breeds; A Chihuahua, German Sheppard, cockapoo, English Springer Spaniel, mixed breeds, Jack Russell Shortie. I love them all. Currently I own a 15 year old senior Corgi and an 18 month old long haired Mini Dachshund puppy. I can’t get enough of dogs. I have also dog sat for many neighbors and family. My daughter owns two very active Australian Sheppards and they love me! because I am retired and home full-time i can shower your fur babies with love, attention and activities. Please save me from owning too many dogs by allowing me to invite your pup(s) into my home!
